tbf on the arc it deosnt really matter cause it looks more like a blueish white similar to the light blue on his torso. there is a huuge difference to him and fox
worst rank: wrong visor color, too much red on helmet, pink on torso with inaccurate torso prints, printed waistcape with wrong printed waist cape color and has inaccurate leg prints. Best rank: unique helmet phase 1.5 that looks perfect, great accessories with backpack, waist cape, and paul from and perfect torso print with almost perfect leg print
The classic Revenge of the Sith clone pilots are actually somewhat based on concept art for V Wing Pilots that ended up never being used for episode 3. The Idea was that V Wings don't have life support systems much like TIE Fighters so these type of clone pilots would have required Fully Compresed and facecovered pilot helmets much like your standard TIE pilot helmet. The 2014 V Wing and even the 2010 Palpatine's Shuttle sets have the same type of clone pilot design that the original minifigure was meant to be based on, albeit executed much better since they use the proper revenge of the sith clone pilot helmet design.
I do love the original clone pilot. The different mouth shape along with the sand blue arms and legs is just super tight, even if it’s not movie accurate
I think You should be more consistent with your Ranking. I get it that 40+ clones are all 8/10 and higher. But putting Phase 1 Fox below standard Phase 2 clone & 501st specialist (just because of the binoculars and not even mentioning the Clone print itself) doesn't make any sense to me. I own Fox since i was a kid and Yeah maybe it's nostalgia bias but i'm trying to see it from another perspective. I know it's subjective But you talk about What does look good and accuracy. Fox is better looking than P1 Cody, OG P2 plain & 501st specialist in every way except leg printing
@@User-b9q2z I love his Channel. Easily the most underrated Lego Channel I've seen. And as I said, i get that it's hard to rank them. Justi pointing out inconsistency? Am i not allowed to give any form of feedback?
@@maximuslinnerud5950 nah this is valid. but ultimately it is subjective but this guys opinions just so happen to be egregiously wrong lmfao (in my opinion at least)
@@maximuslinnerud5950yeah but they’re being ranked compared to the time they came out. Like phase 2 fox is awful for today but would be good if he came out in 2010
Fr I just picked one up the other day and it’s by far my favorite 2005 style p2 clone. I’ve got the star corps, shock trooper, and both versions of the basic p2
BRO THIS GOTTA BE A TROLL ranking the 2020 501 less than the 2013 version because they dont have blue arms convinced me none of these rankings were serious lmao
I wish the clone trooper pilots had helmets without the fin on top making them more accurate with episode 2 and CW but besides that they are represented very well
22:04. No hate intended but why do you complain about stuff not being accurate when the 2008 Rex and the 2013 Rex aren’t even accurate. The 08 Rex should have a range finder but doesn’t and the 13 one should also have a range finder but doesn’t. The printing on both figures is great but shouldn’t you judge those two figures the same as you would p2 fox? I mean both are technically inaccurate. Just some food for thought 🤷 Edit: I just got farther into the video and you did touch on the 2013 Rex a little bit. The point still stands though.
the clone wars shocktrooper has the best visor placement, better than the p2 501st, better than the 212st, and way better than the p2 wolfpack. You didnt have the guts to do the right list, but its respectable. very good list. Horn trooper supremacy btw p1 gree sucks
Nah I didn’t have guts for the number 1 spot. I did everything else right to my knowledge bro bro I mean I literally put the geonosis trooper over both p2 Rex’s lol
@@fivelonelyclones just kidding, its an amazing list that actually considers everything; quality and quantity of the printing, both the time it released and how it holds up today, innovation, mold, color... probably the best one out there p2 rex is overrated anyway, its visor is curved, i dont get people judgin quality on "cannon appearance", specially when it even fits the actual cannon
Is it not obvious? They make the helmet look really fat and warp the printing. Also it makes the rangefinder comically high up on the helmet, even Lego thought they given they portrayed it in the right place on one of their boxes
Good list. My only major disagreement would be putting the 2020 501st trooper below the 2013 one. Sure the blue arms are a vibrant touch to the overall look but IMO the lack of a line above the visor just throws me off. I know it is accurate to the tv show but idk I can’t look past it.
I never minded the helmet holes, and I like the grey cheeks on the helmet, unlike the 2014 style which just keeps it white and doesn’t look that good imo. For me, the 2014 ones lacking the grey cheeks is a bigger distraction than the helmet holes. That being said, getting these clones in 2020 style would’ve been good, but I still like the 2022 style more than the 2014 style. That being said, this is very controversial, but since the 2024 p2 plain clones have the grey stuff and the 2014 ones don’t, I think the 2024 ones look better. Like I said, lacking grey cheeks is a bigger distraction for me than helmet holes. It perfectly resembles what the things on the clones’ cheeks look like, and they just make the figure look better imo. The helmet holes never bothered me at all.
I think Phase 2 Gree should be above the arc trooper. The arc trooper is actually arc trooper hammer who only appeared for a few seconds, but I still think phase 2 Gree is number 1. My favorite LEGO clone trooper is phase 2 Commander Cody though.
If ANYTHING, the 212th geonosis ariborne trooper deserves a top 10 spot, thats a W take having him at 11, not controversial at all imo. And anyone who thinks a trooper with fkn HIP printing doesnt deserve a top 15 spot is trippin.
So many Great memories of Playing with My Star Wars Lego, many Clone Troopers here that I had, I think Star Wars was so awesome to me compared to other better movies that i prefer such as The Dark Knight or Lord of the Rings, because it felt like there were neverending possibilities for my imagination as a kid. I think that is why The Clone Wars is the best Star Wars property because it went into a more granular exploration of a major war that happened between 2 movies.
Fox being last is gratifying. He deserves all the hate he gets for being one of the most incompetent clone commanders as well as murdering my boy Fives.
That‘s a very, very stupid way of thinking. Going by that logic you should also hate Obi Wan for killing beloved Maul … and Maul for killing our boy Qui-Gon. See the issue? 🤖
@@nostradarmus5725you’re comparing a company cheaping out on a product and making it bad compared to characters actions in a story? And against literal villain as well lol
I can’t believe you rank all of the pilots below fives and then don’t even mention his eyebrows problem. You seem majorly biased in a lot of your rankings
Nah its valid to me at least. I personally prefer the more movie accurate look. I think clones would be perfect if it was 2014 helmet and torso with 2020 legs
What like how everyone was pleased with Lego in the 2010s and the huge appreciation of the 501st battle pack? No, the community should criticise the multi billion dollar company when they do something stupid
I think Lego purposely made a really bad P2 Commander Fox figure because the designer hated Fox because of his cold-blooded murder of Fives and his general incompetence. The designer wanted Fox to get more hate and the designer is correct. BUT HEY, THATS JUST A THEORY. A CONSPIRACY THEORY!!
I've spent two months giving half-glances at my LEGO clones, not really understanding the helmet holes debacle. I have a mix of those with and without the helmet holes, so I guess I've just been glancing at the ones that don't have helmet holes. But now I see.
I think the new Phase 2 clone helmet just doesn't look that great compared to the more movie accurate 2014 version. To me, the clones look way better in the films than in the show, and while I think mixing the 2 designs works in some cases, LEGO have kind of screwed it all up. The 212th troopers just look so weird compared to decade old versions. Damn... it has been a whole decade since LEGO made those designs. One change I do approve of is the fact that LEGO finally got the clone skin tone correct when for years they have just been using the 'standard' flesh tone, which, for obvious reasons, doesn't really fit the clones. I always found it weird that they gave pretty much every trooper the exact same face and it was pretty boring honestly, glad that they have changed that. I hope that at some point they make a new helmet for the Phase 1 clone pilot, because they have a slightly different helmet that regular Phase 1 troopers and I don't really see why it would be difficult for LEGO to do since all they'd need to do is take off the fin of the Phase 1 helmet.
Airborn troopers needed satchels like what Indiana Jones has instead of having them printed on in my opinion. I think I’d rather have an actual kama for Rex than the helmet accessories
I'd love the 2014 to 2019 style phase 2 clone trooper printing, I'd like the current 2020 one, but previous style are so good and close to accurate, wish they stick to that tbh, so yeah
I always get the 2011 troopers and use the torso and legs on the troop its supposed to be on as well as Bricklinked torsos and legs for the arf troopers cause they look good that way
OK, hopefully you respond to this. I have a clone trooper that’s not in this entire video… I’m not sure what he is honestly. If you could somehow contact me and help me figure this out that would be amazing.
They’re not that bad on their own but significantly worse than the clones LEGO used to make and we just don’t like the downgrade. If it isn’t broke don’t fix it
All of the new clones are atrociously bad. Printed waste capes and helmet holes are already bad enough, but some of the figures just look awful. The 212th clones look fake. The 501st specialist battle pack was the laziest thing I’ve ever seen. All of those figures could’ve been great but Lego was too lazy and they all look shit.
@@skinnyj123lol for what? Complaining about something bad when it mostly is? And yeah the 2023 501st pack was a complete cash grab and a wasted spot for something else
I talked about the bad batch in the intro. Vaughn got left out because he’s not very unique at all just 332nd with a visor and a very small torso print
@@fivelonelyclones I thought that aswell but the solid brick studio video shows how you can use a minifigure stand or 2x4 plate to fold it and it works VERY well and looks amazing
And please tell me what’s working with the new 212th print. Still waiting on a legit explanation. The print comes to a point enough. Again, no fig is 100% accurate
Bro what no it doesn’t come to a complete point and there’s plenty of figs on this list that are 100% accurate literally the whole top 10 besides the arc trooper is 100% accurate
Like I totally get your point, but I can’t let one minor difference from the screen ruin for me what is an otherwise great looking fig. They nailed the color, and the helmet mold itself looks great imo
@@ben65thompsonare you serious? God have some self respect for the product your buying lol, how that figure got passed quality control is baffling. Half the torso is literally the wrong colour and the white is pink, how tf is that a small inaccuracy? It must be intentional in some way because you physically cannon get half of it the wrong colour and somehow not notice it when comparing it to the actual character
