@@GameEssays But on the other hand, with more experience comes greater skill and strategic use of one's power. To use a game analogy, if you've only mastered one video game, you objectively aren't as good as someone who has mastered two or three. To use a martial arts tournament, if you've only ever trained for and competed in one tournament, you don't have the experience of one who has trained for and competed in two. And so forth. Experience matters, especially when other factors balance out, such as strength, speed, magic, and items.

@@Acrosurge okay but botw link literally trained his whole life to be a knight and reflected a **Laser** as a 5 year old with a potlid. Not to mention he can reflect the full charge of a lynel? Or all the shrines this link goes through thats like over a 120 trials. Maybe I'm biased but I think these factors should matter...?

He’s not the only link who’s killed a god before, and SS Link was relying on the power of the triforce.

TP’s my favorite but I love the lore of the Hero’s Shade being OoT Link. Feels like a passing of the torch when they’re training and makes him one of the most badass mentor characters I’ve ever seen

@@ultimatehope549 that's y the hero of time is so special to the fanbase. He's the OG refusing to pass until all his knowledge is given to his ancestors.

I'm pretty sure he died peacefully. I don't think there's anything in Hyrule or any other place that can stop him. He just wanted to pass on what he learned to help the next hero

There's debate on if Oracle link is the same Link. The Japanese version of the latest encyclopedia says he is not the same, but who knows.

Oracle of seasons and ages have a different Link. I don't want to sound biased but Ocarina of Time Link killed a dark god as a 9 year old.

No four swords adventure takes place in child timeline but wind waker takes place in adult timeline also if he is in four swords adventure he will be dead for more than 100 years Because twilight princess takes place after 100 years from ocarina of time and four sword adventure takes place even after more than 100 years from twilight princess but wind waker only takes place after 100 years so it cant be

@@D_FPS_328 i'm talking about the art, the artwork that he uses in the tierlist to represent link from the windwaker has the four sword from four swords adventures. So he made the mistake of putting Link from four swords in instead of Link from the windwaker.

I gotta agree with you there. I really like how the people at Nintendo added facial expressions to some of the links, it just made the whole thing seem better if Link actually seemed less like a stoic never reacting being but like the teenager and human he really is in Zelda. And the more diverse the reactions make it better, especially with Wind Waker Link. When you see some of his reactions, it really adds to the whole narrative of him being a child and makes some of his achievements and the things he goes through even more impactful. But I gotta admit, when some of the more stoic characters actually showed reactions to something, it had a significant impact on the story, like Twilight Princess Link at the end of his game. He went from being very stoic at the beginning to appearing largely affected by [notable events] where he went through a total rollercoaster of emotions.

It be like that sometimes.

It really wasn't his fault that he created 2 other timelines. He didn't know that the master sword would seal him away and that gànòn would claim the triforce

I mean Zelda created the mess of the timeline. Link just is in the middle of it. She's the one who sends him back

I was looking more at what they did and their character and not as much their raw strength. Like I said I think BOTW2 will also more than likely change my placement too.

@@TheRealVyke Yes it's called that, but just look at the official timeline. Doesn't matter how anyone feels about the timeline, it's literally directly from Nintendo.

Since Age of Calamity is more of a side game in an alternate timeline I kept it out so it wasn't as confusing. We do get a lot more story from it but I think Zelda's character benefits more if anything.

But it's technically not the same Link.

he did not beat ganon 6 times. In the canon of botw, he only kills ganon once, when he killed calamity ganon he did not actually kill him, he just fled to the outside so he could unleash his full power, and assuming this is fully kitted botw link he did all divine beasts and their blights which are all weaker than calamity. and calamity is actually one of the weakest since he does not even wield the triforce of power. ancient arrows are outclassed by windwaker light arrows. being appointed as the princess' personal knight means nothing when you are going up against a child that has a god mask, more enchanted masks and ocarina songs that counter or out class everything you do. and don't even get me started on alttp/la, he stomps botw link so hard. botw remains one of the weakest among god links. if we are talking hand to hand combat tp link stomps so hard it's not even funny, swordsmanship oot/mm link stomps everyone with his godly skills seeing how he is one of the oldest links and has experience with multiple short, long, and great swords. the person second to this is sky link because he has sword education. and everybody brings up how he is zelda's knight, and has done stuff like reflect a guardian laser with a shield, seem to forget that he has forgotten most of this, and while skills can't be forgotten, people praise the guy that has the logical thought to run around naked. wielding the master sword is nothing seeing as most links either already wield the master sword, or wield a sword stronger than it. ie. Double Helix blade(Fierce deity sword.) Most people praise botw link because it is the only game they have played. but really he is pretty weak in a realm where people can where a mask and suddenly have the power to pull the moon TO THE FUCKING PLANET. or drink milk and suddenly have infinite magic. and don't you dare use the statement "Oh but botw link wore the fierce deity mask" one, that was not the mask, it was a costume, two he has an armor set that does the same thing and can't even shoot sword beams, and can't even do anything the fierce deity mask seeing as he does not transform and is just a barbarian armor set but fierce deity skinned.

MM link is ALSO OoT Majora's Mask is the sequel to Ocarina of Time
