As someone else has said. You missed probably my favourite mini boss of all time. Lynels! So much fun to fight in Breath of the Wild and the first time you encounter one they were as intimidating as any on this list. As always though great work mate. Love these lists

As always, great tier list! Don’t remember the majority of these bosses but always good to hear your opinion on them!

Lynel would be a clear S tier. Probably the most challenging bosses in the whole game.

Great list in my opinion. Personally I put the Garo Master at a high A actually because of the scenery and his character moment at the end. An honourable death in his eyes.

TP Skull Kid was so memorable to me between the atmosphere the music and the entire chase and battle

the ones that really stand out to me are: 1. Dark link in the water temple OoT - this has got to be far and away the best in the series IMO 2. The pirate on the sand ship 3. Lynels in BOTW You have more zelda experience than me for sure though. Anyway, found your channel today and I am a fan, subscribed!

hi Game Essays, congrats for making this video, ton of fun to watch. i don't really agree with your list tho, like lezalfos or poes that i would've put higher but i can see your arguments. it isn't your fault but i would've put lynels in the tier list, such epic monsters to fight!

I like how half the mini bosses in Skyward sword are just reskinned stalfos

Interesting list. As a kid I found Lizalfos a real challenge for the point of the game they were presented in, so I'd definitely have ranked them higher (and them hopping away from you and towards you felt atmospheric to me). On the other hand, I _hated_ that Octorok Miniboss in Jabu Jabu's belly. Running back and forth in a circular track was just rather irritating and the main challenge was from me losing focus over how bored I was fighting it. It was one of those fights that I wish I knew how to exploit as a kid because it felt like a chore on each playthrough. My favourite game for minibosses was definitely Majora's Mask, with many of them being more memorable than most of the bosses themselves. I loved the idea of a Miniboss who returns to fight you again but in a totally different way. Gave it more of a rivalry feel, and Gecko had a lot of personality.

My favorite mini-boss is easily Darkhammer in Twilight Princess. I don't know what's not to love about a giant dinosaur wearing a suit of armor and wielding a massive flail. He's just so cool.

how about a Tier list on all the random npc's through the series from the memorable to the not too memorable. maybe even split it up from game to game.

Ocarina Of Time Shadow Temple mini boss gets First place for me..only mini boss that really stuck in my mind. And dark Link!..the design of the room itself is a masterpeice.

I really like Darknut from Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. Also, the Twilit Bloat from Twilight Princess is amazing. It kind of gives me Del Lago vibes from Resident Evil 4. It’s attack patterns can be kind of unpredictable and it gives you a real challenge by requiring you to use Wolf Link’s attacks. Of course, Dark Link is an instant S Tier for me. The reveal of it is just so perfect. It’s too bad that the Nintendo Switch Online ruined the way the water looks.

I HATE the gecko! ^^ So no, C would be more fitting. Lizalfos is more annoying than dinofol, you even said it, so your ranking is a bit off there.
