We bought him as cover. Not to start. He won us the domestic cups as he started most of those fixtures and made goal contributions. I’d give him a B+ for what he bought him for. Also Matip started alongside VVD in the CL team that won the competition. We got him for free. He’s definitely at least a B.

He was cheap and FSG took a chance, it was the wrong call. Hand on heart I can't recall more than 2 or 3 games at best where he was a game changer or was better than the others around him. The wages he is on is a joke too. Thankfully we are unlikely to see him play for us again.

Buvey was on point... Best ball knowledge based on this video. Thiago did cost £20m and won 2 cups and was instrumental during the Quad attempt season. Bargain! Also... "Min any moe" was top scorer in both the EFL cup and FA Cup when we won it and was the main reason for getting through multiple ties... B for that alone😂

Buvey is 💯 on this, Thiago is one of the most technically gifted players I’ve ever seen, he rarely has a bad game just injuries are the issue so a C is right, Matip a C is also insane, he’s an A for sure so underrated it’s criminal, one of our most consistently good players since Klopp joined, the exact same with Gini Wijnaldum, giving players lower ratings because there’s a lot of A’s/A+ defeats the purpose of the video

They are not rating him as a player. Rating the transfer to Liverpool. Has the transfer been a success? Absolutely not. He’s on massive wages and hasn’t contributed at all to the team for the best part of 2 season. Even when he plays it’s style over substance. We immediately improved when Curtis jones took over the left-sided 8 last season. The 8’s for Liverpool have to be athletic from box to box. Thiago was always a luxury player. the money could have been spent far better.

Minamino was phenomenal. He almost single handedly won Liverpool two cups, scored a winner to keep them in the race for top four. His issue was only that he spoke no English, during a pandemic, where the guys in front of him were Mane, Salah, Firmino, Jota all of which were playing well. Also when Mane and Salah were at the afcon it wasn't Jota that scored the most it was Minamino. And people forget during that time, against expectations, Liverpool actually climbed the table not fell. If Darwin Nunez had Minimino's one chance one goal finishing ability he'd be world class.

buvey thank you for respecting thiago. in 21/22 season he was incredible for liverpool and is one of the main reasons we won the fa cup, he was absolutely amazing against city in the semi final, played united off the park at anfield in the league and if you asked any liverpool fan at that time who their favorite players were he would be top 3. yes the injuries have ruined him but man that 21/22 season god he was so good.

Unfortunately, his day didn't come often enough for us mate because he was always injured. Not his fault but I think a C is right based upon that. Also, I think we were a better team before he came. He made us adapt our style to suit him. We could have done that but we never got the chance because he couldn't stay fit long enough. Sadly, a case of an amazing player that could have been great for us but for the injuries.

All five of LFCs forwards have double digit goals this season. Thiago was 25 mil paid over 5 years to Bayern. He has been injury prone, but was one of LFCs best midfielders. Ozan Kabak was a January loanee, due to injury to Matip, Gomez and VVD. Matip was free and one of the best CBs in the league over a number of years, including one where he was better than VVD. Mac Allister a C? Guy cost 35 mil and has been one of the best in the league. Wijnaldum's contract wasn't renewed because he was 31 and we didn't want to pay him £250k/week.

@@mixzoid He never recovered because of the backlash, and he wasn't a popular figure in the dressing room. It made LFC realise they needed a world class keeper and bought Alisson. Karius had one of the best goal keeping stats in the league and pipped Mignolet and he cost £4.5 mil.

we bought minamino for £7m, he was the top scorer in the carabao cup we won in 21/22 and he scored 2 decisive winners in 2 rounds leading upto it, we then sold him to monaco for somewhere between 15 and 20 million, that’s an A signing for me. He was never a consistent start but making 10 mil off a player in 2 years and them winning u a cup in the meantime is incredible business

For Adam! Szoboszlai isn't pronounced as ,,Shoboshlai" Because the word s pronounced as sh, like in shambles (like chelsea) BUT! if there's a z after an s, (sz) it's pronounced as an english s letter. So for english speaking people it's okay to say it as Sobosly, but it's not how it's said in Hungarian.

Karius was part of a team that got to champions league final. That final ruined his career. That wasnt exactly a typical Karius performance before that but everyone wanted to jump on him and blame him. 3 months later he played in a preseason against Tranmere and got laughed at the whole game. He looked shakey and a shadow of player he once was.

Bajcetic has been injured since March 2023, a year ago now. Until then, he was genuinely the first name on the teamsheet at 18. He was by far our best player for those 3 months he broke into the side. He's having growing issues apparently, when he got injured, he was 5'10" and now he's 6'3" but has back issues because of it.

Matip underrated. On a free and for quite a long time has been a top 5 centre back in the league. Liverpool changing to a more possession-based style brought him back into the starting XI over Gomez. Matip began this season as Liverpool's starting centre back right up until he was ruled out for the season in October.

Minamino is the only reason Liverpool were in contention for that quadruple. Top scorer in the FA Cup and top scorer in the League Cup too that season, the two trophies they actually ended up winning. Signed him for just £7.5m too.
