I get if he played 38 games a season he would by far be the best fall back but what a liability how can a player be the best/ useful to a team if he can only play 5 games and only 60 minutes in each. As a Barca fan who watches 11 out of 10 Barca matches, saying Kounde is a better CB than Araujo is absolutely mental. I love Kounde and he was very, very good at the start of the season but Araujo is untouchable in the Barca backline.

You just know you'll have to play your back up for 20 games or so. The same can be said for Stones. He genuinely hasn't been fit for a season in 7 years. To Theo's point: If at the end of the 2002 season you would exclude R9 from the top 3 strikers in the world, you would not be wrong. He had played 18 league games in 3 years. This isn't a top 3 talent/potential list.

How is Lewis Boden making the most sense here, obviously you can't put reece James in when he barely plays and has spent 80% of his career injured. Putting Maddison in is completely different as he's only just got an injury and so you can see how good he's played this season up until 1 week ago. KDB is slightly different but again he's not played at all this season so you can't put him in because he's not done anything

Unpopular take but saka isn't even top 20 RW because if a defender knows anything about defending all they will do is show saka down the line and then saka has to give the ball away because he can't kick with his right foot there for he can't do what wingers are supposed to do which is supply. Therefore I don't think saka is top 20 in the world. (Maybe a bit harsh I would say he's like 12th)

Valverde has actually played in midfield this season, instead of RW which he did often last season. He’s now playing in his natural position (box-to-box MF) and has been Madrid's unsung hero so far.
