Now that I'm actually done with the video I thought I'd give some of my opinions that differ from this list because why not lol. Most of em I either agree with or haven't read but the ones that personally I'd rank differently: Oshi No Ko: That one for me is at least an A, if not an S. It has it's flaws for sure but it's the only manga that I'm really looking forward to read every week and every wednesday it's the first thing I do as I wake up. Latest chapters have people divided but honestly I don't see the big deal, the writings were on the walls and so far it's done in a way that makes sense. Maybe it'll age poorly, it very much could depending on which direction it goes lol, but I like it right now. Punpun: When I went into it it sounded like something that would be right up my alley but it honestly did nothing for me, I don't really understand why people ¨love¨ it so much. I think the ideas are good but how it's presented is just too weird and it took me out of it too often for me to actually get invested and feel anywhere near depressed. And the whole cult thing I couldn't care less, I just wanted to know about Punpun but it kept getting in the way lol. I'd put it like low C / high D. Kind of the same thing with Apothecary Diaries, when I first heard of it everyone I heard talk about it made it sound like it was the second coming of christ but I just found it kinda alright. Maomao's really fun but that's about it, the little mysteries were just not developed enough to feel rewarding, it feels more like just an info dump. I enjoyed it more than Punpun though. Promised Neverland: I think I'd put it a little bit higher, like high-B / low-A. First arc is the best for sure but I still really enjoyed every arc that came after that even if they were very different. Days On Fes: I'd probably put it a bit lower, I didn't like it much after volume 2, but if you like the concept though check out Laid Back Camp. Same kind of vibe but with camping instead of music festivals, but the execution is just 10x better and the characters are so much more fun. Thanks for coming to my ted talk 😂
Ody here , creator of Tomahawk Angel, thank you SO MUCH for including my manga in your tier list:”D and thank you for giving TA such a high rank, which I wasn’t expecting at all to be honest… I hope you enjoy volume 2 even more :D !! Thank you again 🙏
The length makes me feel like it's a bonus podcast episode. Reminded me once again that I really want to get into "Kino's Journey". I also realize that slow pacing doesn't bother me at all in a romance or slice of life, but it does in an action series. Really thought I'd have a blanket feeling on pace across the board.
Absolutely I respect that and that was one of the reasons I wanted someone else there with me on this video, because Everyone has their own opinions and my favorite part of this hobby is just talking about series in general….I didn’t expect to go almost 3 hours 😂
If I could recommend one manga. It’s Twin Star Excorcists, I’ve read a lot of Manga. That one stands at the top. Alone. It’s 129 Chapters monthly and still going.
@@KaweerMonger loved it. the story of Nolan and Calgara? The relevance of the poneglyphs. The missing golden city? It will continue to play a larger role in grand scheme of things
I have Blade of the Moon Princess vol. 1 and I still haven't read through it. So i getcha, but at the same time I'm willing to give the MC a chance cause I see what he's trying to do.
Although now that I think about it, the problem with the volume ks probably that he tried to rush everything. Nothing'l was happening and then everything happened, and he was like "here. Now feel things about her." And it felt rushed to me personally. If it's not a wholly loveable character like a Luffy or a Naruto, and you're trying to do something different, imo you should give the reader time to adjust.
Attack on Titan down at A? Berserk down at A? Monster at C? Blade of The Immortal at F? Haven't read Parasyte but the anime is pretty good. I'd give this ranking a D.
I know 😂 Blade of the immortal is a series I’m keeping in the collection and hoping one day when I revisit it, it’ll click and I’ll power through the whole series and end up loving it
Haha yeah I knew it would be long but about halfway through I thought…”I have gotten in over my head” but Thankfully he stuck with me and it was fun but not doing this again for a VERY long time 😂
Buddha is is S tier, especially considering it was made by the Disney of manga … ps VAGABOND is better than Vinland; regardless of it having no ending AND FullMetalAlchemist is UNANIMOUSLY agreed to be S-tier
Your B are the actually good ones A s are good but S ones are mostly average except vinland only for art story isnt anything special op is good story with av art
