The IBO story is literally the greatest in all of the Gundam series has you said it’s the perfect starting place, I also think it helps that the themes are more relatable to what we have seen on earth like child soldiers look how still today in low- income communities (like mars in IBO) have to fight to survive, or how words have power but, words can’t get you everything. It’s also great for beginners because some of the elements of other Gundam stories that would make a new person to all of it question if it is to overpowers like the Gundam armor isn’t their or even Gundam suits in general they are ‘forgotten’. It’s a stunning masterpiece of a anime.
@@istan21 yeah. I think the whole dynamic between the members of Tekkadan is very endearing and all the names members are super memorable. It’s kinda impressive how many characters they juggle.
i feel like season 2 of IBO should have part one and should have made a season 3 to finish out the show. Mika, orga and Akihiro can all still die, just make them go out like champs
If you pay attention to the first like 7 minutes of this video, you can clearly see why Gundam anime is not huge in USA. Most of the series feel like a waste of time. They have not aged well. People will flock to watch other anime, even though people think gundam “looks cool”
I think most of the gundams issue is that the main timeline isn’t fully dubbed or even viewable in America. Like the majority of Gundam isn’t even on crunchyroll.
You lost me after Gundam wing is dumb, Gundam Wing is not only one of the best anime series of all time, but is a master class in political science, and it rivals the original series
