I like how each different gen has their own music instead of one continuous song. It really separates the generation and makes it special. It's very nostalgic.

fun fact: bruxish is based on a fish called the reef triggerfish, or the “humuhumunukunukuapua'a”. it looks just as stupid in real life, and i didn’t care too much about bruxish- until i learned this. in a little show called octonauts, they taught us about this fish, giving it a special place in my heart. does it look stupid? yes. is it a fish with teeth? yes. but i still love him.

Glaceon, Milotic, Gardevoir and Chandelure are peak Pokémon for me. I think it's the elegant designs and cries, as well as some personal attachment. Grew to love the Gardevoir line because it was my first Pokémon I caught miraculously, and the Airalin comics. Love Glaceon due to one my friend trading me back in Diamond that I still have (her name is Evoli; Timid nature). I also like the more lean and speed-oreiented 'mon, so Quilava, Pikachu, Sneazle, Buizel, etc are up there. Of course, Lucario, Lapras, Snorlax, Lopunny, Mawhile, Braixen, Torterra, Chespin, Emolga, Joltik, Staraptor, Sylveon, Luxray, Lillipup, Lunala, and Primarina, are up there as well.

I think the best compliment I can give you as a creator is that I feel more excited about watching a full hour video of your content than I do watching a 20 minute video of the video game I've played for 10 years.

Before I state my opinion I just gotta say that I love how fast paced this video is with the editing. Meganium looks like just a walking vegetable to me so I totally understand why you'd want to eat it and Marill was literally a meat shield for a nuzlocke I did once so it definitely has puntable energy. I feel like I could kick it like a football and it'll smile all the way as it flew. If you felt nothing for Grovyle before (which I can't see how you wouldn't cuz he's so cool and has a laid back expression) Explorers will make you feel something. And that is a fact.

i love cacnea specifically because of that one episode of the anime, when James recognizes he isn't a good enough trainer to teach his cacnea a move it wants to learn, and so he gives it to another trainer. It made me cry. I like wooper and quagsire because of the "acquire the sire" meme

Remoraid was originally meant to be drawn like a hand gun but got modded because it's a children's game and then Octillery was meant to have a general helmet and be in a lil tank. They would have been so coooool.

It's crazy how experiences with a Pokemon can do a full 180 on your opinion of them. Like I could not care less about Mothim and Golduck before Legends Arceus but I found their shinies and got super attached to them. Hypothermia the shiny Golduck ended up being the most powerful member of my team.

I vividly remember playing Pokémon sapphire(the 3D one) and getting a dunsparce and finding it very cute. It became my main starter in my lineup cause I wanted to evolve it… There is no evolution to dunsparce. But the time I had leveled them to like level 50, I finally decided to search it up, and I felt like a complete dumbass. But he was so cute that I didn’t want to box him XD

Happy to see Avalugg get some love in this list, personally they're in my top 10 through sheer audacity alone being able to tank physical hits better than *fucking Steelix* for no good reason. I love my ice table. Also, if you care for competitive singles in any way, to those disappointed by Vikavolt's lack of speed I highly recommend running a defensive spread with Volt Switch, Bug Buzz, Roost and your choice of Sticky Webs, Toxic or Thunder Wave. It does especially well in Gen 8 OU for some reason. Personally I landed on an ev spread of 88 HP 196 Def and 224 Sp.atk with a Modest or Bold Nature, but I've gotten mileage out of 252 HP and def with 4 in Sp.atk with a Bold nature especially as a Kartana switch-in as Kart does ~20-30% max or ~50-60% once with knock off and you ohko with bug buzz unless they're either focus sash or assault vest, which they're probably not.

Lucario is peak pokemon, but because gamefreak doesn't know how to cool it with the constant shoving him into anything pokemon related people tend to hate him for no reason. Lucario is awesome gamefreak just suck at handling anything popular really. If the people like something it doesn't mean they wanna see it EVERY single time you wanna announce something all it does is lose the intrest of people who like set thing.
