Revolver’s fourth match with Yusaku was my personal favorite. The extra link was iconic. He really carried the series for me. I wish he won against Yusaku at least once.
Revolver was the most intelligent player in Vrains since he reminded everyone they could just side deck. Even in the final duel Yusaku side decks Furious Dragon.
I think he means less of a side deck and more changing his strats and main monsters between duels Since a side deck would be pretty useless in an anime based on BO1 duels lol
How tragic when moments of defeat make you look better than actual moments of triumph. But I suppose that's what happens when your losses are against stronger people than the ones you beat.

Did you not think Declan was a great character? Cuz I'd put top 3 rivals being Declan, revolver and kaiba. Unless it's the manga, then Declan wins hands down.
Revolver/Varis is one of the best and most gravitating rivals in all of Yugioh. I really loved and appreciated his character development because it showed how much Revolver believed in his father's cause of eliminating the Ignis, humanity's greatest threat, undoing his father's greatest and most biggest mistake of his life. But also, seeing how much of a strong guilty conscious he had for the lost incident victims. And being the one who saved them. His duel with Soulburner is also my number 1 favorite duel he had. The emotions, dialogue, and growth for both characters always make me tear up. He's a character and a great rival overall. Awesome Job Dylan. Keep up the amazing work.
I know it would've been great like after he defeats Ai Yusaku ends up blaming himself than Revolver challenges him to a duel to get him out of his funk would've been a great ceremonial duel
I wanted to see a duel between Playmaker and Lightning. I'm pretty sure Playmaker would win that duel. Revolver came VERY close, but in his last duel with Playmaker, Playmaker won.

Awesome to see a Revolver video! Honestly, Revolver is such a breath of fresh air compared to other rivals with his personality, role as an antagonist and the fact that he seemed to strategise and plan his moves ahead during duels unlike other rivals with used some special power or just went with the flow. Best rival by far!
Lightning, Vector and Marik are the goats of "faces aren't supposed to be able to contort like that" which is impressive cause two out of three of those characters don't have mouths.

I feel the same. Same goes for Bowman with manipulating his luck to roll what he wanted on his dice. Also, considering he had honor most of the time, its stupid that at some point, when manipulating the luck on his dice, he said: "Who said that it had to be fair? " 🐢

Next to Reiji, Revolver is my favourite YGO rival. He’s an almost perfect character a great to have him be one of the centrepieces of one the best duels in YGO that being his true duel with Soulburner in S3. I guarantee Noajenk will get to that duel eventually and it’s w highly requested one.
How? I thought the way the duel ended was beautifully done: Soulburner finally overcoming the trauma of his past with the lost incident and the final shot of Revolver’s mask breaking symbolising he’s free of his sins and is no longer a prisoner of destiny.

Revolver vs Soulburner duel to me is easily the best duel in the Vrains series it had pretty much everything the drama, the emotions , the surprise finish etc. Revolver summoning Borreload Savage Dragon is my favorite
@@anhkduc7930I did not watch arc V yet, but I saw some of his epic scenes and I believe he is one of the best characters in yugioh. But until I watch it, Revolver will remain on my #1 place as the goat he is.
Technically Soulburner vs Revolver r2 does have Ai at stake, since Soulburner was about to give his location to Playmaker, however Revolver arrives in order to take it and go defeat Ai himself.
Y'know the soulburner duel is prob one of the best in the series but the one with lightning got me hyper. I just couldn't think of how the duel would end and everything about it was exciting af imo.
Say what you want about Revolver vs Soulburner R1, but I absolutely loved the duel. Not only was it a crucial character moment for both Soulburner and Revolver, and great foreshadowing, but seeing the potential result play out without Revolver playing a card was fantastic. Soulburner used all of his resources to get out Heatleo and set one card, leaving him with no cards in his hand. Turn 2, Revolver draws Boot Sector Launch. His hand contains: Magnarokket Dragon, Gateway Dragon, Anesthrokket Dragon, Autorokket Dragon, Sniffer Dragon, and Boot Sector Launch. With this hand the final result, if Revolver played to the fullest, would have been Revolver winning via an OTK. 1. Activate Boot Sector Launch, activate effect to special summon Magnarokket Dragon and Anesthrokket Dragon 2. Special Summon Gateway Dragon by its own effect, since Soulburner controls a Link monster 3. Gateway Dragon's effect special summons Sniffer Dragon from the hand (optional) Sniffer Dragon's effect adds a copy of Sniffer Dragon from deck to hand 4.. Link Summon Link 4 Borrelsword Dragon 5. Normal Summon Autorokket Dragon 6. Borrelsword Dragon attacks Salamangreat Heatleo and activates Borrelsword's first effect (NOTE: At this point in the series, the only card that Soulburner could have activated this turn as his set card is "Energy of Fire" which can only be activated when an opponent's monster declares an attack. But an OTK from the main rival against a side protagonist is not at all worthy of being played out. I think the writers did a masterful job with the duel, and actually let character development win out over a game, something that I had issues with on quite a few duels in VRAINS. This duel was great, and was a fantastic setup for the best duel in the series.
I LOVE revolver vs Go. Love the strategies and all the new bullet monsters, MIRROR FORCE. Go coming back from it. Go link summoning 4 times in a row. The animation in 39. Great back and forth god I could take for ages about it
Thank you Dylan for a Good Video! I agree with you on your picks in this video. Revolver is a Good Character and is in my top 5 favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS characters. Anytime Revolver duel in the show it was a good duel to watch.
I like how in the first half of vrains and most of the second half revolver was the biggest threat to face for anyone because this guy didn't care who you are he'll show no mercy and does not care.
I really think Revolver should have beaten Yusaku at least once. Having your protagonist defeat his main rival not once but twice in the first 12 episodes just completely destroys any sense of danger or intimidation surrounding them. Like imagine if Yuma had defeated Kaito twice by episode 12 of Zexal

As well I thought the action was very lack luster soul burns arc was pretty solid though 5. Vs soulburner I feel like I’m gonna need to explain this one. I feel like this was an extremely effective subversion of the viewers expectations. This duel came after a week break if I’m remembering correctly. This lead to even more hype from fan based plus it being the 3rd and 4th most important characters in the series. So for it to end with pretty much no duel revolver making a light yagami level move using soul burners emotions against himself. 4. Vs Windy 3. Vs playmaker R2 2. Vs Lightning 1. Vs playmaker R4

Vrains was the most complete series i have ever watched on screen. Had every possible character and real life scenarios and emotions. Playmakers duels were also epic example with Bohman or AI . Event secondary characters like Spectre were great and had their stories. For me its the perfect series anyday and can match and top the best storylines all over the world easily. Yu gi oh at some points is so great at storytelling and portrait that

Even though revolver vs soulburner r1 was horrible for obvious reasons, I still hate the revolver vs lightning duel more. I wouldn't have minded a draw for that duel, it would have lead to the same result.
Even though the number 1s would be obvious I hope we get Sora and Kaiser(with only his most important duels ofc lmao) at some point. Both had some fire duels.
Can you do best Joey duels next please? I know he has a lot to talk but some wouldn’t take that long. His duels against Marik (obviously the best), Odion, Bandit Keith, Rex during the Doma arc, Valon (probably the second best) and Mai R3 are all top 10 contenders for ranking his duels.
I was so disappointed with lightning vs revolver. Thank God they gave him that last battle against soulburner which was probably the best duel of the series.
I feel they wasted him a little as a character. He needed more screen time or at least a final duel against Playmaker. But I know, budget went to other projects....at least is better then Arc-V
My top 3 would be: 3. The Speed Duel between Playmaker and Revolver R2. Because of the many story points. Stardust Road, Ais "death" and Kogamis death as well as Revolver just stopping the duel to try and save his father 2. Revolver vs Soulburner R2, great dialogue. Great finish for both characters. Loved all the twists at the end. 1. Revolver vs Playmaker Master Duel R2. I mean it had the first Extra Link, a duel were Playmaker was on the edge of losing throughout. But most importantly: As Decode Talker rises in Power and Revolver screams: NANI?! I just cannot forget Dylans live reaction to that NANI and just have to smile
