super monkey ball jr might not be the best game, but it is an absolutely incredible technical achievement, one of the most impressive GBA games.

A thing to note about Touch and Roll is that you can use the D Pad, which definitely feels more natural than using the touch screen. And on the 3DS or an emulator, you can even use the circle pad/an analogue stick which feels even better.

Touch and Roll is a really fun game if you use the d-pad but the touch controls (like you said) are really bad.

Adventure also had a PSP version with exclusive story bits and stages...'Cause that's fair. Though I will say Adventure's Race mode is absolute chaotic nonsense. And I love it for that.

Putting Touch and Roll below Step and Roll is a war crime. You can use the D-pad instead of stylus btw

SMB2 was fantastic and amazingly challenging.

smb2's level design took the ironclad og physics and pushed them to incredible heights smb3d's level design did zilch to take advantage of its physics period

Super monkey Ball 2 is like the height of our species.

The sheer amount of content in Banana Mania puts it far above any of the other games. I absolutely love SMB2 (not so much SMB1) but Banana Mania beats them both.

My favorites in the Super Monkey Ball series are Super Monkey Ball Deluxe at #3, Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz HD at #2 and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania at #1! Awesome ranking video on the Super Monkey Ball games!

I’d say next time try playing touch and roll using the d-pad on the DS. You can do that. You don’t have to play using touch controls

Adventure is underrated imo!! I love the Monkey Ball characters so much, so I love having a storyline about them, but it could be better of course!!! My favorites are 1 and 2 and then Deluxe!!

While i respect your opinion i would have to most heartedly disagree on adventure. Yes its not an original game or close to the basics BUT i love that you get to explore a story mode and while the controls and spawn places are frusturating, i managed to get the hang of it. once you know where everything is and are used to the controls i see it as a blast and something fun to play.
