6:36 he couldn’t actually strip Reyna of her powers instead Reyna couldn’t beat him as he had no soul Reyna was too powerful taking to long to be suppressed and killed brimstone because of it
Actually kay/o ult and knife turn off radiants powers and radianite(which is in tech every non-radiants use) so if any one has tech that uses radianite it's now useless.
@@KindaSubpar I think it kind of does, just not "destructively powerful." In a war where everyone is reliant on radianite, being a counter to it is a pretty "powerful" thing to be
@@KindaSubpar I do honestly think this is a pretty well made ranking. But regarding to "a single powerful opponent or a team of enemies," It is highly likely if not guaranteed that anyone more "powerful" would probably be a radiant and can be disabled. Against a team of enemies, he can probably hold his own better than sova or phoenix since he's a machine built for war and if the trailers are any accurate, he calculates scenarios to find the most efficient way to deal with multiple enemies. The only thing I can think of that would definitely lower his ranking is the sheer skill of the other agents like sova, chamber, omen and iso, which makes me wonder why phoenix is pretty high up on the list considering how inexperienced he seems in combat in the cinematics (at least compared to other agents)
@I-C-N-H yea I should’ve clarified what I meant by powerful enemy or group of enemies. I just meant any standard powerful opponent not necessarily from the Valorant verse Phoenix was hard carried in my ranking by his abilities and general power although I could see him being lower
It's a common misconception that Sage uses Ice, she doesn't. What she uses is more similar to a crystal, it seems to be a form of crystalized radianite. The Valorant team also lore dumped that her radiant power is Geomancy, aka she's an Earth Bender and not an Ice Bender. If you want source, the valorant lore wiki lists her as a Geomancer with a citation from a reddit comment by user Altombre who has a product manager badge in r/Valorant 4 years ago that goes: "Sage is actually a geomancer. She's the earth bender. She doesn't use ice. Everyone thinks she does though! We don't have a waterbender on the roster." Note that this was 4 years ago which is why Harbor who's a waterbender isn't on the roster yet.
Yea it was kinda weird to gauge how “powerful” that makes them. But I figured I wouldn’t put them too high since you can still lose fights and whatnot while immortal (Deadpool as an example)
About omen iso was essentially the best assassin in the world able to use one bullet per person yet when threatened with having to fight omen switched sides
very good video with an interesting premise. also, i am not gonna lie your top is surprisingly coincides with mine. I would expect people to put Chamber lower, as he mostly has "rich dude" reputation in the community. It is kinda interesting how different agents are not exactly radiant or non-radiant. In one of the emails Sage mentioned that Gekko has some connection with his buddies, which are visualized through his tatoos. Another point is that strange glow you can see with Deadlock in cinemativ for 7 when she gets bitten, and sunset when she interacts with wingman. It also might include Chamber, as he too has tatoos(covered with radianite(?) or nanos which might explain their higher usefulness), and an ability to teleport, on a whim which are limited to radiants otherwise(yoru and omen). Also a condition was mentioned in his cosplay video, though that might not be cannon. Probably the only problem I have with this list is putting yoru so low. If we are talking about a proper 1vs1 combat situation, an ability to simplay leave the combat, flash the opponent and then judt kill them from behind seems to overpowered.
Yeah, I just thought it would add a little flavor to the Iso positioning since he basically gets kayo's whole thing in his pocket dimension lmao, loved the vid!!
omens new buff can allow him to activate switches etc in his ult shade (I think) this implies that his shadow (and perhaps his others like smokes) can interact with the world tangibly it also implies he can ult to the other side of the world pick up a gun a few feet away assassinate someone and just cancel his to to go back
Great vid, man. Been looking for a lore channel after the disappearance of Sir Jeppy. Only one issue with the list, tho, and that's Yoru's placement. I nelieve he should be above Jett at the minimum, seeing as he beat her in a fair 1v1 in the Retake cinematic. His tp was just better. Also, we see in his "My Typical Day" cinematic released by Valorant Japan on RU-vid, he's capable of dealing with multiple armed targets without a weapon. Didn't see too many people talking about this so I wanted to bring it up.
Yea I watched a few Sir Jeppy vids when I was preparing to make this vid But I probably won’t stick to Valorant though (I literally talk about anything lmao)
@@KindaSubpar don't worry, man, this game is trash anyways. When you said in the vid that you started playing it a lot, a wave of dread washed over me, like we lost a good man lmao
Also if ranked by their future versions I believe the list is like this: Skye Astra Reyna Fade Jett Phoenix Sage And those are the only changes if regarded about heir future versions (unless you count Kay/o which idk if you do) I placed Skye above Astra because she could probably create her own wooden Astra or an all powerful creature
Fun fact. In the lore Harbor before getting his bracelet is referred multiple times as a cool guy when he is not on the field but as a Demon or Monster when he is in the battlefield. Also he has a cruiser bike.
kayo(brains/nullification), sage(healing/revive), neon(power/skilled shooter), omen(stealth), cypher(intel) i wouldnt take reyna as there could be bots with no soul so reyna's power cant be utilised, aswell as kayo calculates scenarios to find the most efficient way, so no need for killjoy, aswell as we can see neon having frenzy one taps, quick reaction time and good sound/spatial awareness in the fight with viper ult i forgot name so two birds one stone
for me he deserved top 3 fade just take down 5 agents because no one knows her power, after that it will be easier to fight (he still will be in top 5) iso can do the same, just take him one by one with his ult and no one will notice, but if they know about his architect skill he becomes a more trivial opponent sorry, i'm min neon, it's just i want see how much power he have without her suit
Nah man you did Kay/O dirty. He fought and won a war against the radiants, nullified Fade who was whooping several agents asses and is a machine programmed to face and adapt in every situation (if we consider his introduction cinematic). Wouldn't consider him top 3 but at least top 7
I didn’t rank them in relation to each other. Kayo is a hard counter to radiants and radiant tech. But he isn’t as objectively powerful as those higher than him on the list
Note that iso uses ambient energy to make his bullet proof protection. The same ambient energy that lets us live. BRO CAN JUST CREATE 2000000 SHIELDS AND DESTROY ALL AIR EXCEPT IN HIS LITTLE SHIELD!
I feel like the player card arts and the implied calamities they will bring if their powers go wild weren't really taken into account. Like Harbor's artifact and it may have relations to the world drowning, Astra's Foresight/prophecies and player card, Jett's huge tornado player card, neon's player card, sage player card, and Clove only dying if she chooses she's too bored to come back.
great video 😀 Kinda sad no one's talking about how riot doesn't care about the game's lore anymore the lore used to be awesome in 2020-2023 but now it's bland...
I agree, I'm honestly confused with the direction they are headed. One moment we were doing alpha earth stuff and lotus was a thing which was super coo and then all of a sudden the radivore plotline emerges which was a completely confusing plotline which made no sense (I get that they were trying to show that Kingdom is a problem and the alpha earth is still a problem, but i think the storyline was a little too forced to make a few characters work: Gekko and Deadlock. Iso is kinda there, but also retains the the omen storyline). They pulled it back with Omen's storyline tho!
@@wilsonchan5711 Yes the readivore thing is cool but was completely unnecessary. Why are they introducing completely new things when there are already so many questions we don't have answers for... But i like what they're doing with omen and viper's lore now it's definitely a step in the right direction
I kinda want to agree but you kinda have been selectively blinded by the lore you've picked while also using inference by deduction on some while some agents lacked the deduction, Added that you missed some parts of the greater world building Stuff like 1.) Reyna getting stronger the more souls she collects. (More she kills, The more dangerous she is) 2.) Neon being connected to the radianite mesh (which for better understanding just think of it as her being connected to Earth's Magnetic fields, Essential making her a walking world wide emp) 3.) Iso having his own pocket dimension that only he can access (inferring from Clove's lines, He doesn't even need to be inside it for it to be active) 4.) Yoru's ability is not teleportation, But ripping through the fabric of reality and manipulating it. He probably is even the one responsible for the interdimensional rifts happening in lore (example of which is the thing that Skye sees during her pv) Don't understand? Basically he's someone who is split between infinity and 0 at the same time, If he masters the thing he can basically make portals to other realities or straight up fck up the entire universe by making an imaginary number paradox to appear Tldr : Man can either make parallel universe connection happen, cause the heat death of the universe, or create a new universe from nothing All of these, none of these or one of these can happen if he masters or fcks up using his ability 5) Astra is the antithesis to Yoru instead, If Yoru manipulates the instability of reality. Astra's job is to ground it so that it doesn't get fcked up. Her main speciality is "Space Manipulation" and really the fact that her kayo alt future form allowed her to destroy stars is not that far fetched, Considering that interdimesional travel technology is available. What says that intergalactic is impossible? I find it more absurd that you can travel to different dimension but not travel to space? 6) Harbor, He controls water, Not that simple actually, From what was stated omega Harbor is the keeper of the powersource of the omega valorant. But I'd rather infer that it's not water manipulation but molecular, Water just happens to be the easiest to imagine when manipulation abilities are talked about. Anyways even if it was just water, The universe has alot lot of it. Like the thing that's needed to make stars is literally made out of giant space water clouds. 7) Viper is underestimate due to the fact that she is not a radiant but don't forget she has mastering of posions and anything toxic, She's basically a walking geneva convention war criminal already by clause of chemical weaponry.
If you’re ever wondering how to pronounce Deadlock’s profession: Ståljeger. She says it in one of her ace voice lines “There is no hiding from a Ståljeger!” You can just say it as: “Stall-jeger”
Placing Kayo at 17th feels criminal, I know its your opinion but our Reyna is placed 2nd and Kayo was capable of killing propably the strongest version of Reyna across all universes
Putting Kay/0 so low is CRIMINAL!! You yourself said the only reason we were able to kill any of the top 3 is because of him, I'm not saying he deserves the be #1 but being able to turn somebody from baisically a god to a normal person is incredibly powerful, not even to mention he's a literal killing machine which I atleast think makes him a better 1v1 fighter than every other agent
8:52 I think there is confirmation that their post-mortem plane of existence is NOT the Astral Plane. Check Astra's voicemail from Patch 8.05. 15:52 I think you mean ATLAS soldiers there?
Nice also, I don’t think sages powers are ice but jade because she can heal and her orb slows rather than make it slippery, also it is never mentioned that she has been ice powers
yoru should definitely be way higher up, we literally saw him shit on jett in the cinematic. His abilities are way too OP. Plus he's chill while he does it all
You put a lot of effort into this I can tell. Even if I don't agree with the rankings: good job Also this makes me want to quit Valorant even more seeing how toxic characters are towards each other. Thank you
I think ka/yo gotta be the strongest and op by far he can nullify radianite and that makes everyone an average human being against him its a robot with a lot biq and exp vs an average human plus he already defeated radiants like reyna that shows his skills are really good because reyna isnt a radiant that only uses her kit to kill reyna is very skilled so kayo defeating her shows that even if u r a human with a lot skills kayo can still beat them
Kayo should be higher up in my opinion. In the lore Reyna killed all of the allied radiants (which made her more powerful than them), but kayo still killed her
This video when it comes to talking about high tier agents is basically: "so... they almost destroyed everything but kay/o showed up, so everything is fine"
@@KindaSubpar Yeah ik, that is what i like about kay/o. He isnt insanly strong or has big destructive capabilities but he sure is humiliation machine when it comes to radiants. Humbles them all, that is why he is my fav agent.
Yea I realized after I had already uploaded. I turned up the vids volume (my voice is usually super quiet) but I forgot to turn down the ultimates to compensate
Icl, really great video, a really unique concept, however, limiting urself to the game by saying "oh sova has 3 energy blasts" is kinda lame imo, ur rating them by in-universe and not by game standard. Also Kay/o is too low in the list, he killed Rreyna, possibly the strongest radiant by all means, and that is NOT a lowly feat, his ability is a hard counter to all Radiants, dont forget that he can also revive (given someone resets his core or whatever) but ey, you gained a sub. 🔥🔊🗣
I figured i wouldn’t count Kayos nullification (0:45 - 1:05) but killing Reyna was definitely something worth considering Main thing with that is idk how impressive it was since she wasn’t as powerful as she normally would be since he hard counters her
@@KindaSubpar think abt it for a sec a me, kayo hard counters every single radiant. Considering radiant r the most powerful ppl in the verse, kayo should insta be top 10 no doubt. But ey, ur vid not mine. 💀
Kayo is a robot created to neutralize all radiants right. He has survived a timeline where all the current roster was at their MOST powerful state, not just astra stars or jett smokes, we're talking severing of galaxies and hurricanes at will. Plus him being a robot created for this task he has instant detection and reaction time plus perfect accuracy. This instantly puts him above all Non-Radiant humans in a battle setting. Now knowing Kayo clearly can beat any human due to being a literal aimbot (pun intended), and have defeating all radiants at their most powerful state, that means the radiants (except for clove) from Alpha world in their current state are no match for him at all. You mentioning that he can only kill them once he strips away their powers is the whole point of Kayo in a fight! If youre accounting for all the Radiants abilities then Kayos ability to prevent them from using theirs (turning them into a normal human which is no match for him) is what makes him almost OP imo. Great vid tho!
I actually believe that Cypher should be higher as for gathering information does way more than just sitting on it - you stand no chance against someone who knows everything about you, and can apply this knowladge to killing you. My reasoning behind it? Iso have failed his assassination of Omen just because Cypher has caught him "in 4K" when he came in killing distance of Omen.
I’m pretty sure Iso didn’t notice cypher there until after he decided not to go through with it I feel like the ending implies cypher knew of Iso’s plan all along but believed Iso would drop it and join Valorant
I've only gotten to kayo so far, but 18 is kind of low no? Like he should be on par or close to brim in skill and as a robot he would be physically stronger than humans, and he can take radiant abilities for a while, even if you base this off general ability he outscales almost everyone, he has successfully killed empress Reyna by himself, one of the strongest agents who led the radiants during the war. I'm interested to see the rest of the video but this seems like crazy kayo downplay.
Viper's snakebite would have vulnerability in the real world as the poison would get into their bodies from bullet wounds, making the bullets carry poison into their bodies.
Clove is immortal, she will never truely die, meaning she can just keep trying over and over again, which I think deserves top 5 (omen too but he is in a lot more pain and may want to find a cure)
Lore-wise it only shuts off radiance (but a lot of agents use radianite tech so that counts too) But I explain how I rank them in this video 0:45 - 1:05
Pretty sure kay o is an EMP blast, so against normal people, he would disable anything with electricity. This means any vehicles, tanks, planes, and most war machines would be neutralised. Plus, he killed the top 2 agents, doesn't matter if they were suppressed or not. Idk, just feels like your logic for kay o is flawed. Also, sage can literally bring people back from the dead, so I she'd be #1 to me. I guess it doesn't really apply in combat tho. Great video overall!
Thanks! I see where you’re coming from, but I wouldn’t put an emp over the ability to rip someone’s soul out of their body or explosions that blow up islands I think the fact that they were suppressed matters a LOT lmao
i think yuro and kayo are both too low for kayo he can defeat most of the best best agents and he was build as a war robot so i would say he is the best in combat and for yuro he can basically tear reality and time (i one of his brim voice lines he said he accidentally went trough time)
He is. The mask just amplifies his power, I believe, seeing as we never see him use it when using regular abilities, just his ult, unlike Harbor, who continually relies on his bracelet.
Bro wemust protest to valorant where we must demand them to instead give us skin for gun on agent guns we must get skin according to their lore which can be anything... for example yoru comb
Cyper is the batman of the teame while chamber is tony stark and we all know who is better. Its a shame chamers nanoteh can only make digle and sniper and tp
Yo idk why my comment got deleted anyways. So I will base myself on the lore and cinematics, as we know agents can legit spam abilities and can be very annoying to deal with. And thats why I'm putting Iso in the first place / second yoru (alot of potential, time travel we probably just see a friction of his true power). So as we know Iso is a legendary hitman who managed to kill an ENTIRE squad with one round.. I mean think about it. It's literally an incredible feat. I asked some riot's dev if Iso shield could protect him from being crushed by a car (it's an example) and they said he can (even tho they said they are not sure) but I believe he can, I mean it's logic. Which mean he can possibly bypass astra's stun and fade's prowler since they won't be able to harm him directly . And since agent can spam abilities it means Iso can literally be untouchable his aim skills surpass all agents imo, because in his leaks campaign we could see him shoot at the center of a target with one bullet of classic and his ult literally put you in a domain with polarized radianite like kayo which mean no one can use their powers, and like i said Iso have probably the best aim he will surely 1 tap his target. And if he doesn't one tap them he will have his shield to protect him + (we don't even know if Iso can use his abilities in his ult lore wise, I mean it's his ult he should be able to use them like an undercut and it's over). All I mean by that is that Iso dont have much destructive power but he got alot of feats making him the best fighter. He is smart and he even learn his ennemy abilities (omen's contract). And finally his select screen shows him getting warned in his own ult idk how to eplain it but when he walks listening to his music, his ult interact to warn him about danger, and you literally see him killing some ppl (not showed) with a CLASSIC without his shield. Btw tell me if you think im wrong i would really like to debate.
yh he's mainly using destructive power and not hax to rank them. If we're talking hax yoru in ult is not affected by any radiantite or other attacks which makes bro intangible, invisible and undetectable while still using all his ablilities and still being able to see everything thats going on in the real world. So if theres no time limit he can just stalk an enemy until they let their guard down and open a rift directly behind them. Also why isnt anybody mentioning yoru's clones. Is it not canon cuz if it isnt then he wouldn't be trapped by the limitations of the game. It's like mirage from apex, he in game is supremely limited by the mechanics of the game. Lorewise the clones should be much much more life like and he'd probably be able to freely control them or give them orders. Plus he should be able to spam that shi. And if the sounds like the clones footsteps or when the clone gets shot arent just sound that yoru makes the clone generate to further trick opponents then its not just a simple hologram and has a physical form just with low health. Bro could literally jump enemies.
but that just means she cant do anything if raze puts her in a nightmare trance. besides, she still severely lacks the speed and destructive power to match the top 5
Technically KAY/O is immortal since he is a robot. Doesn't that account for anything? Wait when you said agents can use their ultimates at will doesn't that place Brimstone higher since he has a literal Orbital Laser Strike?
I figured Brims was a special case since he wouldn’t be able to casually whip it out in the middle of a fight and has to be mindful of not being caught in it himself Not as versatile as many other ults
ion understand why kayo is places so low, yes he isn't impressive with just his base kit but remember that he is a literal AI in the future, in his trailers he was seen to calculate all possible outcomes of a fight before it even happens. say he fights somebody like breach yes he might still lose cuz uk earthquakes but looking at how good chatgpt is becoming(which is like childs play compared to what kayo is probably possessing as his mainframe), ppl without powers would be taken down maybe without even them using any of their abilites. Kayo killed reyna and a bunch of other superpowered radiants whom STILL knows how to fight and are propably very good even without their abilities. not to mention kayo has great durability that for example, i doudt viper could do damage to him with poison compared to other agents. He disables everyone that has powers and I don't see how he would lose that often to ppl without. Also keep in mind some of the ppl on this list without power(sova, breach, deadlock etc) uses radiantnite powered item which kayo DISABLES. its like fighting a literal skynet designed to kill ppl with great success but you mostly can't do anything superpowered
she severely lacks the destructive power needed. meaning she just cant do much against the higher tiers like neon, fade and especially astra if they use their powers to full extent.
