I’ve been to about 15 shows. My favorite was Survivor Series 2015. It was the first and only time I’ve ever seen my GOAT, The Undertaker. It was unforgettable. My other 2 favorites are Mania 37 (my first Mania) and Raw before Mania 28 (my first show)
I’ve only been to 3 wrestling events, it would have been 4 if I did end up buying a NJPW ticket during their first American tour. I went to a Live Event with my uncle just having a great time, it was during the build to Great Balls Of Fire so got to see Samoa Joe, Roman and Braun live and then soon after I went to Great Balls of Fire with one of my best friends and had just an amazing time. I also last year went to my first Raw during Halloween by myself and had a great time with everyone around me.
Great video Pav!! I truly enjoyed it!! My first wrestling show live was a RAW back in 2013 or 2012 here in my hometown of Pittsburgh. My favorite wrestling show I think has to be Payback 2023 or my first AEW Dynamite in 2021. Just the atmosphere was a blast!!
I went to my first show in 2015 it was a Halloween edition of SmackDown I remember seeing Dean Ambrose face off against Cesaro in a Street fight then after that I went to an episode of SmackDown in 2016 where I remember seeing Roman reigns walk right past me when he used to do his entrance walking through the crowd just in awe of seeing this man, then the shows that I will never forget Royal Rumble 2020 & WrestleMania 38 easily the best shows I’ve been too and would love to do it again hoping to eventually go to a SummerSlam or a Survivor Series event in the future I just love being there in person it’s such a different experience that you can’t just put into words
Best show I’ve ever been to was on Labor Day 2018 Monday Night Raw in Columbus, Ohio. I got to see the Bella Twins, the Undertaker, HBK in ONE NIGHT. Even though it led to the worst PPV in recent memory, I have a soft spot for it.
Watching wrestling live in person truly is an incredible experience and I’m very grateful for all the events I went to. Whether it be weekly shows or PPVs, I’ll forever cherish these memories regardless of quality. For me my personal favorites were…. 5. WWE SmackDown 20th Anniversary (debut on FOX) in LA, was full of amazing and unexpected surprises. Lost my sh*t seeing The Rock for the first time in my life, the Ladder Match between KO and Shane was brutal and fun, and me and my family are still stunned tot his day, seeing Kofi getting squashed in less than 7 seconds for the WWE Championship to Lesnar. Just wow😂🤣. 4. AEW Rampage & Collision (11/17/23) simply because this date was my actual birthday, and it was an amazing gift from my brother. We had fun, and it meant a lot to me😌. 4. AEW Full Gear 2023 happened the next day as part of my birthday weekend, and it was in my home of LA, and it was an incredible show in my opinion from start to finish (please don’t attack me🙏) 2. WWE SummerSlam 2021, the very first wrestling PPV I ever attended with my family, and it was an incredible experience due to the WrestleMania like vibe with it, with the crowd, lots of great matches, minus a few duds, me being able to see John Cena live for the first time ever was beautiful🥹, and overall Las Vegas was the perfect venue for WWE’s biggest Summer blockbuster. So much fun😊. 1. WWE WrestleMania 39. What else can I say? My very first ever WrestleMania and it was in my home of LA, and me and my family were lucky to witness both nights. Night 1 was definitely better, but as a whole, despite some flaws and that, this was an out of this world experience that I’ll forever cherish for the rest of my life. As a whole, regardless of quality in certain shows, we should all be grateful that we have attended various shows live, and to those new fans who haven’t yet, I pray your first experience is fun, and I hope y’all have cherished memories like the rest of us. This is why I love wrestling, and I hope we all get more memories for years to come.😊
I plan on seeing my first show next year at WM 40. I’ve always wondered how wrestling shows were like in person, and I heard it’s an out of body experience. I hope my first show is as amazing as every show you and many others went to 🔥
My first wrestling show was Wrestlemania 25, April 2009. I’ll never forget it, HBK vs Undertaker, Cena vs Edge vs Big Show, Matt vs Jeff, Jericho vs the legends, then getting clapped by Mickey Rourke. Then in 2020, just months before the pandemic, I went to Royal Rumble and witnessed Edge make his return, that’s a memory I’ll never let go of
I went to my first show in like 05 or 06, but the best show I ever got to attend was no doubt Survivor Series 2023. Such a fun night, especially getting to witness CM Punk's return to WWE in person. Truly is a different atmosphere getting to watch a show live and in person.
The first and favorite show I ever attended was No Way Out 2009, seeing everyone I grew up loving and watching (Cena, Hardy, Taker, HHH, HBK, etc.) and then seeing Edge lose one title and then win the other was comedy gold to me 🤣🤣 the night I became a fan of Edge
I've only ever been to 2 wrestling shows the 2012 royal rumble and then a random aew show in 2022 that aew show was amazing i had never watched any aew before that had just heard about it and knew they had a lot of former wwe guys we got to see chris jericho vs someone else in a match where the loser got their hair cut, we got to see a great tag team ladder match in the main event between luchasaurus and his partner vs 2 other guys i don't remember who they were but the match was so good
The first wrestling show I ever attended was NJPW G1 Climax in 2019. I saw Kenta vs Kota Ibushi, Lance Archer vs Will Ospeary. and Okada vs Tanashi. It was a solid night of wrestling. The next show I went to was AEW Winter is Coming 2021. I got to see Bryan Danielson vs Hangman Adam Page for one hour straight. I got to witness MJF roast Ryback. I got to see one of Cody's final AEW Appearances and seeing CM Punk live was one of the best experiences ever.
Pav I got to meet you during the edge retirement on smackdown this year, you and your friends were very nice - but I can confirm that the bartenders really love you and your friends based on our brief interaction lmao
Ahahaha I definitely remember you😭, yeah we were really gone that night. We never usually get that crazy but on that night the bartender would give us doubles every time and of course our dumbasses were like “YEAA WHY NOT” … and before you know it GG. But it was definitely fun meeting viewers after in the lobby. Hope you’re doing well and once again thank you for the support ! Makes me happy knowing you’re still a viewer 🫡❤️ See u at the next show :)
Being someone from Ontario, Canada, I've always went to wrestling shows around the area and in New York areas. I'm 22, I'm waiting to see NOAH in Canada dammit! Here's a list of my favorite shows, in terms of quality and in no order, from a Canadian.. Battle Arts Recipe For Disaster: I flipped off Michael Elgin from 50 ft. away. It was nice. ROH All Star Extravaganza VI: AJ vs. Cole was a banger. The fans were super polite when I nearly tripped in the communal areas. I saw Ethan Page as "Ethan Gabriel Owens" (that made my ass laugh so hard). Good experience. GCW Fight Night: Brooklyn: Was a surprisingly fun show. Still hate Cole Radrick after tipping my drink over years ago. Forbidden Door 2023: I booed Will Ospreay the entire night. That's how much I hate the guy for what he has done to others. It was my respectful way to saying a big "fuck you". I also found the Omega/Ospreay match to be greatly overrated. I felt more enjoyment yelling out "KAZE NI NARE!" than seeing Will Ospreay do an totally-botched Tiger Driver '91. Show was neat. Saw Claudio. It was nice. Slammiversary XVI: No joke: the LAX vs. LAX match is my favorite IMPACT/TNA match ever because of how much fun I had watching it as a 16 year old scoundrel. Show was neat. AEW Grand Slam 2021: Omega vs. Danielson was the first Omega match I truly enjoyed in a long time. It felt super nice seeing BD again. Left when FTR got beat to get some Dave's Hot Chicken. The chicken was better than FTR losing and seeing Britt Baker. Death Before Dishonor 2023: I saw Shibata. All I can say. Garden State PW Duality: I joked with Robert Martyr after the show asking him if he was going to face Bryan Amir. We had a good talk about WWE 2K CAW federations after that. Plus, he gave me his Snapchat. Good stuff. Tournament Of Survival 7: Seeing this made my gut crawl; it was still a fantastic show. AEW Collision #2 - Toronto: There was a transphobic fan near me who was laughing about Nyla Rose. I stood up to him and he never said a word until after the show. It gave me and my buddy Josh a good thing to LOL at. HOH XIV: I was only there for Chris Hero. He lost. I cried. The entirety of wXw's 2018 16 Carat Gold weekend: I danced. I cried. I chanted. I learned German. It was great fun. I nearly went deaf after Ilja Dragunov returned; but I knew it was bound to come. Ilja rules. WALTER rules. Absolute Andy will be missed. wXw AMBITION 11: It was excellent all the way through. Yuki Ishikawa slaughtered Tyson Dux (from the CWC). It was great. Me and Yuki had a talk after the show about what his career will look like 5 or 10 years from now, and how much he actually likes his main rival Daisuke Ikeda. We settled over two bottles of Coors. It was amazing. Tim Thatcher and WALTER are also amazingly nice and humble; especially WALTER, who might as well be in my top 5 wrestlers of all time. wXw Toronto was also great. Sekimoto vs. WALTER was amazing. EVOLVE 47: It had my favorite match I'd seen live: Thatcher vs. Sabre Jr. for the EVOLVE title. I was 14. I was dumb; but I knew I wasn't getting CTE after that match. It felt like it though. G1 Supercard: Just listen to what other people say about the event; I'd agree with everything. Splended and also terrible. ROH Northern Navigation: My uncle took me to this show when I was 7. He said, "you like wrestling? Come with me to Ring of Honor!". That was the day I didn't just like wrestling, I loved wrestling. Danielson vs. Castagnoli was amazing to witness. Nigel vs. Steen was a classic. I saw Naomichi Marufuji. May I say more?
4. Smackdown September 4th 2022 Seattle Washington 5/10. Got far away seats, and was late to the show. Solid show. 3. Raw April 10th 2023. (Floor seats for the show, secruity was dicks the entire night.) 2. AEW Dynamite January 4th 2023. (Seeing darby win the title and mjf and Danielson) 1. AEW WrestleDream. (I had a rough month going into WrestleDream and i remember I was excited af for Danielson v Zabre. And seeing Christian vs Darby live was amazing. Plus seeing Edge/Adam Copeland Debuting will forever be my favorite moment being there.
Being from the UK, I’ve only attended 3 shows on home soil. First show was Raw in 2015 about a month after the “heist of century” so Seth Rollins was champion and faced Randy Orton in a steel cage match. Next was September 2022 in Cardiff, Wales for Clash at the Castle. Lastly, All In at Wembley Stadium this year. Big supporter and admirer of your Pav! Keep living the wrestling dream 🙌🏾🤩
I’m from Adelaide South Australia and i got blessed in 2006 when i was only 8 years old when the WWE put on a show in my city. I’ll never in a million years forget the main event of Cena vs HHH for the wwe title. You literally could not hear Cena’s music the crowd was poppin that loud… man
My first show was Wrestlemania 35 in 4th grade. I promised my parents if I got 100s of all my tests in March. I was at the very top of the stadium, but hey I got to see it
My first and only show was a house show in Brisbane, Aus in 2009. The memory of John Cena, Triple H against Legacy is embedded in my mind. Jealous as man. I’ll get to some PPV’s in the future for sureee.
My first attended WWE event was back in 2009 for the Monday Night Raw Extreme Rules go home show with my cousins and uncles but my favorite attendances was the one with the WWE 2K14 cover reveal, the Royal Rumble live event in 2010 that had Triple H vs Big Show, and some of the local OSCW shows in my hometown which I met Gangrel, AR Fox, Austin Theory, John Morrison & Taya Valkyrie, and last year was my last attendance when I finally got to meet Rosemary
Hello! My first ever wrestling show I ever went to was an episode od RAW in 2015. Highlight was New Day v Bad News Barret and some others. Other Notables was 2018s Survivor Series which was epic. Raw episode 2019 June. 2019 Smackdown Live Christmas tour. And thennn it all comes together at Wrestlemania 39!! I didn't get to do 2 nights but I managed to do the 2nd night while it was a tad bit disappointing seeing Asuka and Cody lose. I was still super happy to have gone and enjoy Edge wrestler and see the entrances. Absolutely love it I got to see Wrestlemania basically for my birthday so bless my mom for granting a 19 yr old his wish to see Wrestlemania in LA. What a time
Well I’ve only been to 3 wrestling shows (not including live events/house shows) so my ranking of those 3 would be 1. AEW All In 2023 2. Clash at the castle 2022 3. An NXT UK show I went to in 2018
I got a good one my first wrestling show was smackdown at the Manchester arena in 2017 I was still at a point where I believed in kayfabe in fact that was the night the rug was pulled cause I went with my football coach (we always ended up talking about wrestling than anything else 🤣) and I found out that cm punk and AJ were married lol anyway main event that night was Jinder Vs AJ for the world title it was only announced the Friday before the show so it was obvious AJ was winning but that finish oh man I remember literally going "shit not again" as Jinder hit his finish and I counted three before the crowd popped when he got his foot on the ropes and then of course just went batshit for the end i mean first show and my favourite wins the world title off a dude I legit despised at the time fucking amazing 😅
In 2011 RAW came to my country and got to see Cena, Orton, Punk, John Morrison, Sheamus and that still amazes me to this day, I’ve also gone a CMLL show when I was in México, and just recently I got to meet Místico (Sin Cara) at an indie show here in my country. Hopefully I can go to some PPV’s in the coming years. And hit the Denny’s afterwards lmao.
My first & only WWE show was a dark show in Amarillo TX. During Dolph Zigglers entrance I had a white board that said " steal the show " when he was on the turnbuckle he saw & pointed at it. After beating Baron Corbin while clapping fans hands he saw I rewrote " stole the show " & pointed at my sign again! That was epic & why I'll always be a Dolph fan
Here are the shows that I’ve attened and I’m Canadian Raw house show Peterborough Ontario September 2010 Smackdown house show Peterborough Ontario December 2016 Raw house show Toronto December 2017 Nxt house show Peterborough February 2018 Smackdown house show august 2018 (the only thing that ruined it is that there was hazardous storm outside so much so that my phone blew up with tornado warnings and I was worried about my family at home) Nxt takeover Toronto 2019 Smackdown Toronto 2023 I didn’t go to raw in Toronto in 2022 because I had a blood sugar spike and got type 2 diabetes I’ve since then fixed it but I was in no condition to go sadly
6. Wwe house show 1/??/22 5. Wwe smackdown 9/5/17 4. Wwe house show 10/1/22 3. Wwe house show 4/??/17 2 wwe house show 8/??/19 1. Wwe house show 1/19/19 This is just my experience. These were all in north and south Dakota.
10:46 Oh hell no, not Pav giving the middle finger to my boy Speedball Mike Bailey! This was such an awesome video and made me think about what my favorite shows were, as a member of the audience. My very first wrestling show was an indie show in early 2019 (before AEW) that had Darby Allin, Swerve Strickland, Top Flight, in addition to Colt Cabana wrestling David Arquette in the main event lol. As far as my favorite show that I've seen -- I also have to agree with you and say WM 39. It was also my first Mania and I have never been to LA as an adult. I fell in love with the city and the experience of going to Mania was surreal and blissful
My favorite show that I’ve attended was survivor series 2022. I used to live in Boston, and being a wrestling fan, I went with me, and my 2 brothers. My first wrestling show was this Monday right raw, I don’t remember what day it was, but my mom and stepdad surprised me and my twin brother with tickets. I remember the match being Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens and people hated it. It was back when Roman was kinda universally hated. Great Video 👍
GODBLESS triple h for blessing me with my first “ppv” in my home town next year. Got tickets To elimination chamber in Perth. And I’m so excited thanks to COVID it’s been years. This video has got me so hype for EC
So I’ve Been To Two Smackdown Shows So Far. The First One Was In 2018 Which Was The Night D Bryan Won The Title From AJ Before Survivor Series And That Was Also The Night I Got To See Randy Live 🔥🔥. Then My 2nd Show Happened About A Month Ago When I Went To The SD Before Fastlane 2023 And That Show Was Straight Epic Seeing Cena, Cody, Jey And LA Knight During The Last Segment Was 🔥. And I Plan On Going To My First Raw Show In Early February
My personal ranking: Worst - RAW before Hell In A Cell 2019 (The Lana, Lashley make out one) Forgettable - Smackdown before Summerslam 2022 (literal recap episode) Best - Dynamite 2022 (Yuta vs Cassidy main event) the only show I went too I saw actual wrestling haha
I have seen plenty of events both house shows & PPV'S over the years. First house show: Feb 16, 1991 at old Oshawa Civic Auditorium. Taker was there facing Tugboat. Believe it was one of first appearances by Paul Bearer. Main event was Ultimate Warrior vs Sgt Slaughter inside of a steel cage for the WWF Title. Sherri cost Warrior the match. After match Warrior did his press Slam & splash on Sherri to send fans home happy Best PPV: NXT Takeover Toronto 2. Event was incredible top to bottom. Io Shirai vs Candace LaRae stoled the show. In my opinion the greatest Women's match ever. Street Profits vs Undisputed Era was incredible. Main event was great though slightly overbooked. Best crowd atmosphere Rock vs Hogan WrestleMania 18. It was simply surreal & insane. It should have main evented WrestleMania 18 as last 2 matches the crowd was dead for. Nothing could top Rock vs Hogan that night I actually missed first match cause I accidentally got Seperated from my friends. Thankfully one of them tracked me & found me outside Gate 2 Weakest PPV: WCW Mayhem: A cluster f*ck of a PPV. Only Bret vs Benoit saved it. Bret vs Sting was good but overbooked. Hated Hennig losing retirement match only cause Hennig showed up a night later. Defeated the purpose in the first place Other PPV'S I have seen not listed are SummerSlam 1996 - Jerry Lawler's promo before match revealing Baltimore Jeresy was funny. Seeing Bearer turn on Undertaker was surprising Breakdown in Hamilton- Crowd loved The Rock. Who knew it would be last time I would see Owen wrestle live. 2nd best wrestling event I saw SummerSlam 2004. Great show though crowd did everything the opposite. Doing wave during JBL vs Taker. Taker was not happy. I sat 2 rows behind where they controled Pyros. My ears rang for 2 days after Survivor Series 2016. Really enjoyed this show. Jericho getting biggest ovation of the night. Big surprise was Goldberg going over Lensar in less than 2 minutes Seen a lot of Monday Night Raw & SmackDown. To many moments to mention. One of my favourite moments was Rock's promo on Booker T & Shane McMahon Sept 4, 2001. The crowd absolutely lost it when Rock said to Lilian You Get "wet" pause with perspiration Saw Edge's last WWE match back in August Saw Nitro in Toronto in 1999. It was ok but fans for 1 hour before Nitro chanted We Want Bret. When Bret came out the ovation was very loud. Funny part was WCW putting fake Goldberg chants when everyone at the Air Canada Centre booed Goldberg. Hogan got cheered to
Uh I don’t remember the dates to the smackdown I attended, the main event was bray Wyatt vs Roman reigns in a street fight, but I did come to the raw where Cena beat Miz in a title match, and where the rock beat up Michael Cole in Miami. I attended a Summerslam 2017 tour where the main event was Randy vs Jinder lol, and Recently a pre Summerslam house show, where the main event was Seth vs Finn. The big one I attended however was Wrestlemania 28. I saw the rock vs Cena live. Good times.
I’ve not been to a televised show yet, but I attended a house show in Manchester England around the end of 2021. That ended up being one of Jeff Hardy’s last shows before being fired, and being able to sing No More words live while seeing one of my favourite wrestlers of all time was truly special. I’m only 18 but I still remember watching Hardy’s feud that led to his win at Armageddon on the network, from him beating Taker to being crowned wwe champion. i also remember being like 8 in my home country watching RU-vid videos of the guy never thinking i was gonna see him live ever. Seeing someone like Drew McIntyre who carried the lockdown era was also special. Nakamura was fun, Sami was fun. Sasha vs Charlotte headlined the show which was cool as well. I’m now planning to go to AEW All in 2024 at Wembley which is probably gonna be amazing.
Im also going to Japan next year as a birthday gift from my homie, so I'm definitely going to try to get to at least a proper New Japan show and a Stardom show around G1/ 5 Star GP time.
I'm going to wwe elimination chamber Perth next year. My first ever ppv after going to a couple of live events when they come to Australia for a tour. Going to be living a childhood dream at 31 next year.
I live in hamilton ontario and have been to a lot of shows you been to. I recommend checking out some of the independent promotions in ontario there are around 30 of them
TLC 2009 in San Antonio, Texas to me was my favorite, probably one of the best PPVs of the PG Era in my opinion. I was a middle schooler sitting a level up from ringside and I remember there was a big fight feel all throughout that cold winter night. The unexpected opening banger Christian vs Shelton Benjamin ECW Championship ladder match ended up being one of the matches of the year, Sheamus shocking everyone defeating Super Cena for the WWE Championship in a nail bitting tables match, the unexpected rivalry of Kofi vs Orton feeling real, and an unusual tag team main event, DX doing their thing and creating TLC carnage with Jeri-Show to win the Unified Tag Championships.
My first wrestling show was a Smackdown live house show back in 2016 the amount of talent in that era of smack was insane I saw John cena , Randy orton, aj styles, and bray Wyatt it’s a night I will never forget .
I’ve only ever been to two, both at TD Garden in Boston. Those being a house show in 2016 during the WWE Live holiday tour, and then Clash of Champions 2017. So much fun, especially the latter. ❤
My first show I ever went to was in the garden. Such a great arena. Took a picture of the Bobby Orr statue. I remember that more than the show itself lmao
I went to Summerslam last year and I can def agree the show as prob better on TV than in person I felt like after Ronda vs Shayna the whole mood of the show just switched😂
I was at Cesar’s palace watching summerslam 2021 live right next to the stadium and I heard ever loud pop even if my peacock app was acting up even thought I wasn’t there there I still enjoyed it a lot!!
I attended wwe superstar spectacle in India in 2023. And this is the best time of my life. I am an Indian so I cannot attend many Shoes bus that shoe is crazy. My dream come true❤
I have been to one event so far, a random live event in 2019. It was fun to watch, Seth Rollins gave me his cloth wrist-tape (I still own it) Im going to smackdown in 2 weeks so Im hyped for that
The 1st wrestling show i went to was Survivor Series 2016! Ive been to 8 wrestling shows! I like the house shows in toronto different feel! Ive been to 5 wwe shows and 3 aew shows!
My first and best is the same wwe summerslam 2013 ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 and keep up the great videos we come from the same coin my guy is Edge and yours Cena 😅 it's cazy your frist show was 2013 as well and I know both us wanna to go like 04/05/06 Era, I swear you're my doppelganger lol
I went to a lot of shows through 2016-2022. To many to count. A lot of them were indy shows. Some WWE but the first show I ever attended was WWE Raw 2006 Ruthless Aggression area. What a time . The best show I ever attended is definitely hard to say.
My only live wrestling show ive been to was AEW Dynamite in August 2022 when Kenny Omega returned, pro wrestling rarely comes to my city or state in general so i was ecstatic that they would have such an amazing show for my first event
i have only ever went to one televised show that being Raw october 17, 2022 and man did i get my money's worth. to start the show lashley came out and called out brock and they went nuts, i got see brock get put through a table and got to do the one thing i had wanted to for a long ass time sing Rollins song live with a packed arena. if a raw, smackdown, nxt, aew, or any ppv. comes to town anywhere near i would spend some money on that cause there is nothing like it, to be sitting in a packed arena seeing your favorite wrestlers just go ham. thank you for the uploads man =, keep up the great work. i will be looking forward to watching more and more of your videos!
my personal favorite wrestling shows I’ve attended in order: 1. Dynamite 2021: Jericho’s entrance with no Judas, Sting and Darby vs. 2.0 2. Raw 2023: Brock and Cody face off, Gable lasts 10 minutes with Walter 3. NXT Worlds Collide 2020: Undisputed Era vs Imperium, DIY vs Mustache Mtn 4. Dynamite 2023: Juice wins the Diamond Battle Royal, Edge came out after the show 5. Raw 2021: RKbro title defense, four way ladder match main event 6. Raw 2022: Omos vs Ezekiel dark match, Mysterios vs Usos main event 7. GCW vs LOKO 1: Effy vs. Sadika ended fast because Effy bled way too much 8. GCW vs LOKO 2: It was 30 degrees and Grim Reefer smoked a blunt in a fatal fourway, there was a main event cage match with light tubes that Atticus Cogar won
I was at summer slam Detroit to and I was in the suite for free! And I can barely remember it was definitely better on tv cause all the crazy moments looked more exciting on tv I cousktn see a little bit of the amazing moments like Brock and Cody breaking the announcers table
The first wrestling show I ever attended was a Monday night Raw on July 22nd 1996. My favorite wrestling show I've ever attended that's a tough one but it was probably a house show in 2003 or 2004 at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. You might ask yourself a house show really? Well let me tell you what made it memorable was when Kane faced RVD and this was right after Kane took his mask off. I was sitting about 4 rows from the ring and had my RVD blow up hands and Kane got up on the top rope looked me directly in my eyes with his evil smile and started mimicking me doing the RVD hand gesture. The guy sitting right next to me was like "Dude he just looked right at you when he did that!" I was too shocked to respond but that night will always stand out to me. That even beats going to WrestleMania 19, the Royal Rumble 2019, SummerSlam 2023, and even the Raw where Shawn Michaels retired after WrestleMania.
My list 1 survivor series war games 2023 2 Gcw my name is Detroit before summerslam 2023 3 Gcw 2 cups stuffed 2019 before all out 2019 4 all out 2019 5 summerslam 2023 I agree with you about summerslam 2023 just didn’t hit live. Survivor series 2023 was a spiritual experience. All of them except for summerslam 2023 was some peak pro wrestling for me to experience live. Summerslam had good stuff (lesnar vs rhoades the women’s title triple threat/ cash in and Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins was pretty awesome live) but the ending killed it in my opinion
All in Atlanta, Ga. Here’s my Favs I Saw Live: 1. WCW Nitro: Goldberg Vs. Hogan (7/6/98) 2. WWE: Day 1 1st Event w/ My Kid 3. WWF Raw: My 1st WWF Event (10/11/99) 4.
I've been to raw and smackdown in OKC between 2010 to 2015, been to smackdown in Tulsa in 2015, been to WrestleMania/NXT takeoverin dallas in 2016 and the last smackdown I went to was in Houston when the crowds came back from the pandemic
Damn the 2 PPVs I’ve been too , you was their as well Summerslam (2021) Las Vegas Wrestlemania 39 Los Angeles I will say if anybody reading this is looking for that sign to go to wrestlemania this is it!!! It’s one hell of a experience
I’ve been to a lot of wrestling shows. My favourite was TNAs tapings in Glasgow last year. The crowd was so hot for it I lost my voice when motor city machine guns came out. I had so much fun. I’d also say all in or revolution lat year were the best in terms of the wrestling NXT Toronto 2019s also up there. Clash at the castle was a good show but I had terrible seats and a terrible experience of Cardiff. NJPW last year was bailed out by ZSJ v Osprey and ishiis match were great but I left very conflicted as to how much I liked the show.
My first wwe show that I attended was a house show in Toronto at the Ricoh collesium where Jericho, Miz, CENA, Bray Wyatt showed up there and it was fucking lit! The best show I’ve been to was the Smackdown where edge retired! I’m glad to say I got to see edge retire in Toronto just like he said would a year before (before jumping into AEW) and getting to watch my first Smackdown ever was an awesome experience!
My earliest memory of me going to a show is Summerslam 2008. That was a beautiful show. But then went to like 5 Rae’s every time they came to Indy. Then survivor series 2012 happened. I mean the I saw the shield debut liveeee. And that was the last show I went to until Fastlane 2023 which was a decent show where the main event made up for it cuz what a match.
I’ve only attended two wrestling shows. One TNA one WWE. I don’t remember the TNA one that much I don’t even know if it’s a house show or not but it was good. Then I went to HIAC 2022 knowing I’d see a banger in Seth Vs Cody and not knowing I would see the last ever HIAC PPV ever.
My favorite shows ive ever been to are probably either Takeover NY 2019 or a random AEW collision in state college pa. Takeover because it was my first event I went to since getting back into wrestling in 2018. Collision because me and a friend got entrance side tickets for $50 and even had interactions with some of the wrestlers. Jeff Hardy gave her one of his arm wraps specifically to her and bowens went directly to us and said “HEY. scissor me right now”
