Happy new year, and all that, however it is time to get serious. The islands in Sea of Thieves have stayed unjudged for too long, and with the internet being too polite these days, I think it's time to balance things out.
A few years ago I did molten sands fortress, on our way out we got krakened. My friend somehow survived and kept the treasure afloat. I respawned at glowstone cay and drove back, only to get krakened again. In the end we got the loot but it was still funny
Dagger Tooth is my vote for worst outpost, because all of the companies are super far from the places you can dock (even the Merchant Alliance is further than usual), which makes turning in loot take longer unless you're doing captaincy
Crook's Hollow makes a lot of sense. It's in a center position, close to Fort of the Damned, the first Tall Tale may send you there AND it's not The Wilds (yes, that's a plus).
I do dislike the old faithful isle. But I have an unexplainable raw seething contempt for sunken grove that cannot be matched. It all stems from the time I got stuck in the lower middle and went around like 6 times before finding the way out. Now I avoid it at all costs
It’s one of my favorites 🤣 It because it’s so unique. It has a cool atmosphere. The only downside is it’s in the wilds. If it was in shores of plenty it would be absolutely beautiful.

I used to love going to crooks hollow, then Falcore released his video on the bald lady, and the devs actually added noises to the island. Now I just speedrun whatever I am doing or send a crew mate. Sounds pathetic because it is, and I am fine with that.

Old faithful is actually top tier considering you can hide a boat behind and stage rowboat/gunpowder operations there. You can also hide there for if you’re solo to do the nearby treasury. It’s not that bad of an island if you understand the terrain

Ok here’s my thoughts. Despite being in the wilds, Sunken grove is absolutely top tier island. It’s one of my favorites. But imagine if it was in the shores of plenty. 😮 It would literally be the best island, no contest.
The island that makes the least sense (new new) (again) (nomination): Reaper's Hideout. How can it be a hideout if it's on the map for everyone to see.
The island that makes the least sense (revisited) (again): Cannon Cove. I think that rock looks more like a ship than a cannon. It's even more obvious when you look at it on the map.
I think the reason old faithful has more visits is bc 1. It was there from day 1, 2. A LOT of new sailors won't know how much of a bitch it is and will probably make multiple visits until they finally give up on it
There is an unmarked island east of reapers' and I believe bit' north east of fort of the damned, which is quite detailed, be it small and has a distinct color of sand to it (and even something else... hmm)
Preach - Old Faithful Isle SUCKS! That, and I feel like almost every voyage I go on leads me to Kraken's Fall, and when I get a Krakens Fall vault key, I consider if the ocean would like it more. ☠
Nah that's bs ashen reaches is the least visited island considering its one of the main vaults that many players grind, no way more people go to old faithful
I thought Cannon Cove was an island nearby where Wanda found flameheart's cannon? Then she took it south to Wanderer's Refuge and made the cursed cannonballs.
I think you're wrong, statistics don't tell a story. You are less likely to encounter another crew on Old Toilet island. But it's more frequently visisted because of that, since no one will bother you there.
Have you heard of the RU-vidr Accursed Farms? Hes planing on sueing game companies for stealing peoples games. This isn’t really your kind of thing but it could affect games like Sea Of Thieves
