Ranking My Favorite Mariah Albums 

my ranking is RADICALLY different but her music is so interesting to listen to, I think everyone has their own interpretations and themes they resonate with more. For me it's Memoirs, Charm and Butterfly at the top, then debut, emotions and music box at the bottom

Objectively speaking, Butterfly is her Best album so far. The theme, the tracks list, the vibe, the aesthetics... Ugh.... ❤

Daydream is and always will be my album. Maybe it's because I was 15 and still at school when it came out....yes I'm old now 😂 I actually drew the cover to Daydream as my GCSE art project and got my only A in School 😃 All her albums are great. Whatever mood I'm in, there is a Mariah album to match it!

I can't wait for another live Mariah song listening time and hopefully have similar laughs like earlier this week.

Love your ranking I love “To be around you” off emotions too. Emotions really has a different sound almost has a darkness and rawness to it.

i can tell that you're nervous at the beginning part of this video and I can relate 😂😂 it's a dangerous take haha anyway our ranking is quite similar. Though for me Butterfly is #1 :) Emotions is such a great album. And like other Mariah's album, it has so many potential hits had they been released. I wish Sony would release so many other songs.

Top for me is merry Christmas. Without the holiday Daydream, emanciapation, MIAM/ Caution tied for me. As you see I like her to be all over the place. Give me hi tempo. Give me break up, give me ballad, give me everything 😂 I like your list tho 😊

I thought you would've put Memoirs a lot higher, because your initial reaction to it was a lot more positive than Rainbow and Music Box. But as you said it, you still listen to the albums and your opinion is still a subject to change, which i appreciate. We still share the same top 2, though, it's just that Butterfly is number 1 for me, while Emotions is number 2. What i think we can agree on is that Mariah doesn't have a bad album. She's one of a few artists who very rarely makes a bad song. She doesn't have a bad album either. And the fact that Caution still receives amazing reviews after 28 years into her career speaks volume about the quality of her music. I still prefer Memoirs to Caution, but it's def in my top 7 as well.
