The bully romance thing: I'm only into it if it's not the bully but like one of the sidekicks who doesn't actually do the bullying and is actually pretty nice to people but for some godamn reason, he/she is still in that forsaken group of bullies and is too afraid to actually stand up for them and only like helps them get to the infirmary or like helps them and comforts them after the group leaves them alone. And I can confidently say it could be directly tied to the "headstrong, confident, protector of those who are close" character as the alpha ( of either gender) and the "empathetic, mom-friend, observant" character as the omega (also of either gender). And I just think that's pretty cool.

My best friend in college wanted to become a sex educator and was also pretty into a few different areas of fanfic, mainly Johnlock (often A/B/O). I'm also pretty kinky myself despite being asexual, and I'm active in my local BDSM scene, so I know some of these.
