My son has a terminal illness and your videos bring him such joy. They are the bright spot of his days, whether in hospital or at home. He did a review in your honor. It would mean so much to him if you watched. You are always in our prayers. Thank you for the uplift
I'm so sorry to hear abt ur son. As the mother of a son, idk what I'd do if something ever happened to him. God bless you for being such a caring mother and God bless ur son and family too
The moment you pulled out the Tate's Cookie Bark, I said aloud "There's the winner." Because I've eaten a whole bag in one sitting. That's not bragging. That's a cry for help.
I work one block from the original Tate's Bake Shop in Southampton. It's a real place and it is dangerous for my wallet. Never had a bad cookie or pastry from there. I knew that cookie bark would win the second he pulled it out.
So a holiday joke I heard: a young boy tells his parents, "Happy Honda-days!", and his dad says, "Young man! In this house, we celebrate Toyotathon!" 😂
@user-df7dc1gt5m ive made them with both the cheap not real chocolate candy coating and melting down semi sweet chips. Chips are obviously better, but not really worth the effort imo due to the higher difficulty level in melting the real stuff.
I call 'em "Christmas Pucks" and just use chocolate almond bark for dipping. Just the cheap wal-mart brand, but I add a drizzle of white chocolate stripes just for purdy.
I'm really happy you worked something out with your former channel to use the "Bless Your Rank" name, nothing else would really fit this wonderful series as a name. Happy holidays, Matt!
"Isn't that what Christmas is all about? Loving everyone despite how visually unappealing they are?" Matt, I about choked to death on my coffee laughing at that one!
I agree. Check out all of the other weird flavors. They also have hot dog, kale, Caesar salad, butter, sour cream, sardine, mac and cheese, ketchup.,@@kayjacoby290
I didn't know the ritz thing existed. My dad takes ritz crackers, puts peanut butter in the middle and dips them in chocolate. They are amazing and were my favorite before I became allergic to peanuts.
It's too bad you can't eat them anymore. Do you like any other nut butters that you could use instead? Might not be the same but you might find a combo you like.
@feistsorcerer2251 I'm also allergic to tree nuts and coconut. God just be playing with me. 🤣 My dad normally makes chocolate covered pretzels or chocolate covered oreos for me.
@@ChaoticWriterRising Oh man that sucks. You got hit with "curse of have a hard time finding sweets". I'm glad you're still able to have some fun treats though.
From the time I was little, my Mom made candy every year at Christmas. Bourbon balls, peanut butter balls, etc. One of my favorites was making Ritz peanut butter cracker sandwiches and dipping them in chocolate. I think at some point they were made commercially. That's what your Ritz chocolate cracker is missing...the peanut butter!
The best way to have chocolate on ritz is to dip the plain side in chocolate and leave that salty&buttery side uncovered. Then, eat it with the salty side hitting the taste buds first. SO MUCH FLAVOR!!!
Now that you mention fruitcake, I am here as a Texan to tell everybody that if you think fruitcake is gross, that's because you have not had the good stuff! Corsicana has Collin Street Bakery (est. 1896) and East Texas also has locations of an out-of-state company called Mary of Puddin Hill. My parents gifted those Collin Street Bakery cakes for years, and let me tell you, they are pricey and people look forward to them. I count myself lucky when I stumble across one in the grocery store at the holidays for a mere 25 bucks.
And just like that, Matt had the diabeetuss. My family makes something called buckeyes this time of year. Sorta like homemade peanut butter cups, but ball shaped. I usually add some crushed rice krispies to the peanut better mix to give it a little more crunch.
You can NEVER go wrong with Ritz!! Now I want to try the Candy Pop popcorn. This was hilarious to me (your reactions) and what made it even funnier is the Snoop Dog Elf on the shelf! 🤣🤣
Ive seen you rank so many things I dont eat & now that Im eating healthier there are even more, but I will still click on every Bless Your Rank video or anything else you put out for the sheer fun of watching you. Youre that fun neighbor everyone wishes they had. Best holiday wishes to you!
Fun Fact: Mint has menthol, menthol makes your tastebuds more sensitive to cold. Thisis an inverse of capsacin with peppers, and they are seperate! You can feel both together
I thought I knew every Christmas candy/cookie that had ever been created! Great to see all the new entries. Thanks for the fun, Matt! A Merry Christmas to you and yours!
I'm old enough when candy canes were sweet mint or medicinal mint. Usually the latter, but oh, nice when you got the sweet, not nasty mint. Or the rare cherry.
Merry Christmas Matt to you your family and crew… y’all make me laugh out loud! From a fellow North Alabamian ( born in Winston County now reside in Lauderdale County) and Roll Tide🐘❤️
I'm 100% on board with bring back real chocolate. I had been wondering what happened to Mr. Goodbar, which haven't been real chocolate since 2008! ... and it's not the only one. I would definitely rather pay more to be able to get the real thing.
my grandpa used to take two Ritz, make a pb sandwich with them, then covered them with chocolate. Every Christmas. obviously he made a batch when he made them, and they were gone so quickly. SO GOOD!
Peanut butter between Ritz dipped in almond bark can’t be beat. Saw those elf candy corn things in Target and almost ran out of the store screaming they scared me so bad!!!🤣🤣🤣
I know I’m not the only one to mention this, but if you make a little peanut butter sandwich with two Ritz, and then cover that in chocolate, that’s the greatest snack ever.
First time catching within seconds of being posted! 😊. Love that it's about candy!! And yes, the true meaning of Christmas is definitely loving people no matter how ugly they are! Lol
OK, so those chocolate covered ritz crackers? You're dead on with the peanut butter. I have an aunt who used to make them from scratch around the holidays, little ritz cracker peanut butter sandwiches covered in chocolate. They were pretty addictive.
The fudge covered Ritz is likely based on an old (?) Christmas treat - my aunt used to make them every Christmas (as many other Southern ladies did). OMG. I’ve got to find these in the store.
The most success I've had with bait on a rat trap was using a chunk of lil' smoky sausage (about 1/3 or just over half an inch), impaled on the little spear on the metal plate (bent slightly), and glued down with peanut butter so they have to mess with it. Worth a try.
This is a great way to get through just a little bit more of a dull Friday... just don't tell my boss that, no snitches. 😅 Edit: Matt, order you some chocolate covered cherries from Chukar Cherry out of WA. They use very good cherries and real chocolate. It's way better than the Queen Anne style cherries.
I tried nutella stuffed French toast from one of those 5 min recipe videos, and it was awesome. I think I will try it coated in crushed Ritz next time, so it's crunchy on the outside.
I’m laughing so hard at your Ritz Cracker commentary. My kids love them so much that when I buy the Costco box they grab sleeves and stash them. Because even though I just bought the COSTCO size box they apparently need to not share.
Great work Matt. Appreciate your work. Roll Tide to you too! My wife makes homemade Ritz chocolate covered peanut butter sandwich crackers and they are incredible. Wish I could send you a sample. Take care and happy holidays.
About the chocolate ritz. I make a bunch of "homemade" candy and give tins out, because I am embracing my final form as a little ole' lady. Anyway. I call them "Christmas Pucks" but they're a ritz peanut butter sandwich dipped in chocolate and drizzled with white chocolate stripes. They're great and people love them. Super easy to make and they're a great "filler" candy to take up space in the tins.
I HATE chocolate covered cherries! In elementary school, for two consecutive years, I received chocolate covered cherries as an exchange gift. Everyone else playing with cheap little toys, but not me. My parents even were feeling sorry for me. The odds, I began to feel cursed. 😢
I'm so glad to see this new bless your rank video! Thanks so much for the laughs Matt! I really needed a good laugh today after such a long busy week! 😅
I enjoy watching you Matt and you give people a lot of joy and happiness, and that definitely includes me☺️so when you said Toccoa when you were talking about the Oreo’s I really laughed because I live about 12 miles from Toccoa Ga. 😂😂
