could be that recipes alter depending on your location due to substance and ingridient restrictions, keep in mind that this is a review for US based brands with recipes created for a market with little restrictions on ingridients, yours could be a lot less artificial or put more closley to local taste
Wendy’s is my favorite place to go eat Fast Food at and there Frosty tastes so good compared to McDonald’s and Burger King imo. Also there Burgers, Nuggets, and Fries taste good.
I lost all faith in your ranking when you ranked both stake and shake and Sonics so low then proceeded to rave about Culver’s when they have many of the issues you blasted Stake and shake for seriously exactly the same reasons you praised Culver’s so is richness and thick goodness a bad thing or a good thing??
Theirs are terrible. I actually think Arby's has really bad shakes, too. They have a gross foamy consistency. And I don't like the shakes at Freddy's Steakburgers, it's literally just a cup of ice cream.
Used to work at ARBY'S. Part of the training informed us that the Jamoca Shake was originally a Baskin Robins flavor and Arby's Bought it. Just did some quick research and now I think Arby's must have just bought the recipe and a license to make it into a shake because Baskin Robbins Still shows that flavor on their website.
At Culver’s in the summer you can get a strawberry mango lemon ice cooler or smoothie. The cooler is made with the fruit and lemon ice it is the lighter choice . Or you can have a lemon ice smoothie that is the fruit , lemon ice and vanilla custard . Both are a tropical vacation in your mouth . In the fall it is pumpkin spice or pecan pumpkin spice in a shake or concrete mixer ( it is as thick as the custard.) At Christmas it is eggnog complete with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
Jack in the Box is not that good, otherwise the list is pretty close from my experience. Chick-fil-a makes a great strawberry shake and frosted coffee. They should include White Castle and Wendy's in this video. Mcdonald's was great in the 70's and 80's - now sucks.
your getting shakes a fast food restaurant you get what you pay for, but can honestly say never had a frappe in my life, but the Mcdonalds shakes are not bad, that is when the machine is not broken which is the majority of the time. Dude who has the fix one at the one near me earns his keep, either that or they just don't like me. Went their one day with a President Trump shirt on and the girl behind counter would not take me, finally some one came up, and shockingly the machine was down.
KFC doesn’t even sell milkshakes and never has, I mean where have you been? 5 Guys, well there isn’t much to it. McDonald’s ice cream machines are broke down over half the time, and, that’s why some of the newer shakes didn’t last. All it’s down to is liquid chocolate syrup for the chocolate shake, strawberry syrup for the strawberry shake and, simply vanilla ice cream for the vanilla shake.

Bacon shake? No thanks. Five Guys has too much hype, not that good and costs too much. Best burger, my choice is 2 local places been around 50+ years, real grilled beef, costs less than chains.

As a former BK employee ask them to use a mix of 75% ice cream and 25% milkshake mix to get that thick shake feel. If you want it thicker you can guess just up the ice cream content
To me, you instantly discredited yourselves by ranking BK and McDonald's at the bottom. I have had both many times, and I love them. The true worst of the bunch is Arby's by an absolute landslide! It is literally the worst fast food item I have ever put in my mouth. The vanilla and chocolate taste have a synthetic texture and horrible fake flavor. The mint one tastes like someone ground up those nasty little chalky candies that your grandmother or great-grandmother might have and dumped it in.
That was in the 70s during the Christmas Season! They brought it back in the 80s a few times and, that was it. I can tell you can make it out of orange dream cycles Or Orange Sherbet! If you know how to make a milk shakes it’s fairly simple to make. If you use orange dream cycles you need 4 that needs to be slightly thawed and you use a combo of half and half and, cream rather than regular milk, makes for a thicker and, creamier milk shake.
I do love the milkshakes at Cookout but the best tasting milkshakes I've had are at Sheetz which are only located in some states. Of them their best is the Peanut Butter Milkshake. So delicious every time and really has that peanut butter taste.
The fact you rank Sonic so low & Whatacrapburger so high on your list shows the world all they need to know about your "taste"! Add to it the simple fact that you wont list the most famous & probably best, the Wendy's Frosty, because its "too thick", yet you listed Steak & Shake just to complain they were too thick!!! Brahms, Wendy's, and Sonic are some of the best fast food shakes you can get.....bonus points for Sonics summertime half off promotion! Hard to beat a 44 oz shake for the price of most places small!
