i guess im asking randomly but does any of you know a tool to get back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me
I feel like people should rank Twilight based on how they viewed it when they first read it...seems like a lot of societal pressure and training has pressured people into 'hating' it now. Despite how you look back on it now, at the time, Twilight was like a revolutionary series for the YA genre and people actually loved it.
I love hearing your thoughts on books but there was something about you saying "red queen was... Shit." etc that was just brilliant 😂 You could rank YA book covers next like The Irish Reader!
When you read the foxhole court please don’t drop it after the first book. I feel like you don’t get the true feeling of it until you’ve gone through the second one.
when you were about to rank “i’ll give you the sun” i was STARING at my screen DARING you to put it in any tier lower than god tier🤣 it was so good omg. i want to scream off of rooftops about it. it’s my favorite book ever.
I reread eragon series last year after like 5 yes and honestly that entire series is Beyond god tier- I forgot how complex and well done it is and how amazingly it wraps up at the end (ik ur just looking at the first one) but yeah honestly- Beyond God Tier (for me personally)
Omg the foxhole court (all for the game) is my favourite series of all time. It may have some problematic elements but if u like angsty characters/romance then I think you’d enjoy it !
The most unrealistic part of The Maze Runner is that that many amnesiac teenage boys didn't end up making out with each other in any capacity. How are ALL of them straight. HOW. (TBH there's a lot more wrong with it but I remember thinking that was bullshit even when I was way younger)
You don’t like some of my favorite books but I’m totally okay with it because you give legitimate reasons as to why. And the fact that you have I’ll Give You the Sun in god tier is the reason why you’re my fave and I will always trust you 🤷🏾♀️
Watching videos like this reminds me how much our taste in books matches jskdj that’s how I know to always trust your recommendations :) PS: next time you do this kinda things can you make the screen a little bigger? Not that I don’t love your face, it’s just that I probably need a new prescription for my glasses cuz I can’t see **** 😂
I loved The Foxhole Court, especially book 2 & 3! I'm pretty sure you'd love Prince's Gambit, the romance is so good, even if I know you weren't fond of the first book 😋
Aida Celic Aguilar Is it that good? Like my twin brother read it and fell in love with it. He recommends it to me but I don’t know if I should trust him. I often told me to read books he knew I would hate soo
@@alexeerising2458 I'm normally very character driven when it comes to books I enjoy. This book is a bit of an exception because I don't think the characters are as strong as the setting. But the setting and worldbuilding are marvelous and really makes you think.
I would’ve liked to be able to see the books a little more clearly. Like maybe make the screen a little bigger if that’s possible? That being said...I LOL’d in this video quite a few times. You saying “it’s fine” made me laugh. And btw I’ve also always found your lil hand gesture under the chin to be super cute & endearing!!
Love this video, I'm always interested in seeing what people rank things. I've only read (or attempted to read) 15 of these books/series and out of the ones I haven't read, I only really want to read about 3 on that list. And I've now fallen down the rabbit hole and have spent an hour...a couple hours on tiermaker and also thinking about making my own tiers for things... Lol.
To be honest I didn't (and still don't) but I felt that on my first time reading it I didn't get the full experince (probs due to book hangover). Where's on the the second time reading it I enjoyed it *so* much more.* *Although I will admit that might partly be because I study economics now.
Thorne of Lacuna I just didn’t like the writing, i found it too plan and a little boring. I prefer more descriptive language. I also found it a little annoying that she had all these romances and most of them weren’t paid off. I did however Love Jesper and Waylan, I would read a whole series about just the two of them.
When I picked up lluminae I legit thought it was standalone. I literally read it in one sitting at the library I was so absorbed. It was so satisfying the idea of two more books felt so unnecessary. Thanks for letting me know I'm not missing anything by continuing the series.
I agree with loads but clockwork angel and the book thief in the same category ahhhhh I love how you said its sacrilege but was honest with your opinion anyway
This was such a fun video! If you felt like doing more of these, I would be definitely here for it! :- ) Arc of a Scythe is a great series, I'm just about to read book 3; book 1 was great and book 2 was in the god tier so yeah, I highly recommend it :- ))
Loved hearing your thoughts on these books! Makes me feel better that you also didn't like The Fault in Our Stars. I'm glad you liked The Winner's Curse, I think I'll go pick it up soon. I just did this tier list over on my channel!
don't get me wrong it's a lovely video and all; very entertaining - but the moment you said you were PLANNING TO READ THE FOXHOLE COURT I CRIED omg I hope you do so soon, I think you'd love it!!
I've had it on my kindle for years but haven't read it, mostly because I didn't use my kindle much. But this year I am, so I'm thinking I'll read it this year.
Totally with you on Six of Crows and Shadow and Bone. Love Crows...best so far ever. Didn't feel the Darkest Minds and I wanted to loved Children of Blood and Bone. I listened to it on Audible and struggled with feelings of loving some parts and rolling my eyes at others (instalove....no please).
A darker shade of magic is adult fantasy not ya. But interesting to see your opinion on all these. Darker shade of magic is god tier to me so it's always interesting to see someone else's opinions and how they differ.
Unpopular opinion, I'd have put Six of Crows in okay tier. Like it was fine, but nothing great. Grisha Trilogy was crap 😅 just finished King of Scars which was also ok. I'd have also put ACOTAR in God tier, and Throne of Glass in Great tier case I loved Maas' books 😅
I’m rereading some of the late 2000s books, and I’m surprised to say that I really hate Vampire Academy. Something about it seems more juvenile than To All The Boys and there are obvious clues to who the bad guy is. Somehow the movie is better.
Totally agree with Hunger Games and Winner's Curse (tho I didn't like The Winner's Crime as much because of inconsistency in Kestrel's intelligence that's present in that book 😑)!
I am trying to think of something else to rename the God tier. I just don't like that phrasing. I know that it is contemporary and popular right now, but I am old and do not prefer it. So . . . hmmm . . . thoughts.
I, like you, assumed that everyone's favourite was Catching Fire, but apparently this was a controversial opinion which sparked a furious debate among my friends
I stayed up till 6am to finish Catching Fire but I was so mad about the plot twist that I gave it 3 stars kind of out of spite, I should probably re-read the series and try to rate it more fairly :- D
So many of these ya books I didn’t like personally. Especially Shiver insta love weird premise I don’t know I didn’t like it. I really didn’t like Red Queen. I also liked six of crows over crooked kingdom. I loved this video concept!! Edit: also your make up is phenomenal 💙
I loved this! I agreed with quite a few that we’d both read. Nice to see someone who doesn’t love ADSOM. I liked the first and second books okay and I didn’t even pick up the third because I just didn’t care. It’s made me hesitant to spend money and time on any other VE Schwab books. I’m thinking they might not be for me. And AMEN to The Hate U Give. Incredible book. I read it aloud to my partner and we both absolutely adored it.
Omg i liked the maze runner ! but the rest of the books after in the series were complete crap so honestly i get it 😫!! Also this is a bit random but was wondering if youve read ‘Daughter of The Pirate King’ yet?
Ok am I a loser I LOVED the Court of Thorns and Rose's series...everyone I recommended it to loved it. And the Grinsha Trilogy? I mean I liked it but non of the Character's were as well developed in my opinion. To the point (and I know I'm risking my life saying this) that I don't even want to reat the 6 of Crows books
No you’re not a loser. You like what you like. I loved the series as well, and I just read them this year, and have already reread them. I don’t care if no one else likes them. Lol. I do. She doesn’t and that’s fine. We don’t all have to like the same stuff. 😊 That’s what makes life interesting.
Thank you I reread it also with my sister she loved it too. I just finished the 3 dark crowns series good read if you're looking for anything I really enjoyed it.....anything for me?
Mark Grother Thanks for the recommendation! I haven’t read much YA fantasy, but I did really enjoy Sorcery of Thorns. Also, if you’re into mysteries, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is excellent.
yasss The Crooked Kingdom in the God Tier. Tbh I'd put Twilight in shit, right next to Throne of Glass. I also wouldn't put Eragon anywhere above *maybe* okay, but that's because I've read it years ago RIGHT AFTER watching and reading The Lord of Rings and I've been feeling the aftershocks of this terrible experience since 2002.
Love this idea Sam and hearing your views in these popular books. Thank you for saying this, I think the first ACOTAR book was crap and Red Queen was awful lol
I loved this!! Need more ranking videos! Honestly the books you haven't read most I haven't either and haven't heard great things about anyway. BUT the ONLY disagreement I have is looking for Alaska was NOT better than the fault in our stars. That book made me cry girl!! It's definitely still just good though😅 Edit: Also I never understood why Aristotle and Dante is so massively loved..I closed that book and felt nothing.. Sorry it's $hit for me😅 Much love❤
