Thank you so much for putting Twilight in the “trash, but I love” tier. Every other video I’ve watched everyone is putting it in just their trash tier and it breaks my heart a little each time. 15 year old me loved it and because of that 28 year old me loves it.

It's always funny how I react when someone doesn't like my favorite book series. It's like a quick two second reaction but intense. First second is like, "Oof. Gut punch." and then the second second (I really didn't think this sentence through. Too late now.) is like, "Okay. Fair enough." This was a fun video. :)

I’m really starting to think I’m the only person who didn’t hate Allegiant 🤣. Although I would have put Scythe in the 10/10 would die for before I read The Toll and honestly that was so disappointing. I think Three Dark Crowns I’d have to make a “liked it enough to keep it” category but once again the last book aggravated me. Six of Crows though, 10/10 would die for, I’m pretty sure people are sick of me talking about Six of Crows, I have reread it every year since 2016 when I first read it. It’s not even a question of if I will read it this year it’s more “how long will Steph last before she breaks down and reads SoC?”

@@isabelperez8997 The Toll felt so slow and yet so rushed at the same time but Scythe and Thunderhead were 2 of my favorite reads of 2018! I've actually started recommending it with the disclaimer to just stop after the second book.

I've been waiting for you to do this because you read paranormal than other booktubers and I love it! I was already too old for all these YA PNR's when they released, so my only experience reading them is as an adult. But I still have fun with them, much more than the Anne Rice and Stephen King that I binge read when I was a teen.

When people say they hate Twilight even though they read it 10+ times as a teenager 😂 yes, they are trash. But I love them. I still watch the movies sometimes 😅

I love this type of video and loved watching your version. Now I’m not gonna try to convince you to read the new Shadowhunter books, but I’m going to say that I felt the same about the Lady Midnight trilogy, but Chain of gold gave me Infernal devices vibes. This video made me want to read some old faces 😂😂

I read Bloodlines after your Paranormal Romances video, and girl. I. SHIP. THAT. SHIP. I just read the series that starts with The Tethered Mage, and while the first book got off to a slow start, the trilogy is one of my top favorites. Give it a read!

Also found mars dyer at a used bookstore had no clue it was a trilogy and was pissed when I got to the ending and didn’t have the second book lined up😭love those

I just read what's out of the Ember and Ashes series. Its weirdly nostalgic for me. As a series it's pretty "meh". Like I'd love to see an adaption for it that's directed more towards adults. But because it seems directed more towards like preteens, it's super nostalgic in a good way for me. It's the kind of thing I loved reading at that age. It's easy to read if you are looking for something light or to get back into after a reading slump. So although it's not a standout, I really appreciate it for being solid, and exactly like I remember a lot of fantasy romance adventures being back in the day. It didnt jump on that trashy modern romance trend that your age group was into with the popularity of twilight (which I still love) and Fallen. So I look very fondly on it and Helena Rookwoods other series as well. Sometkmes it's nice to go back to your roots.

I have a 10/10 vampire series I never hear anyone talk about, VAmpire Beach by Alex Duval, the characters are amazing, the way vampires function is cool and each book has higher and higher stakes. I believe I'm on my fourth or fifth reread of most of them, though it'll be only the second time I read the last book this go round. I enjoy that one two but I ended up reading other things last year after my rearead of the other five, so didn't get to book six.

I had the exact same reaction to Six of Crows. I feel like the hype got to me and I did feel like I was supposed to love them. I could tell they were well written but I just didn't care as much as everyone else seemed to

I love this! We have similar feelings about books I read in high school and how I feel about them now. I did really like Marked but I read them in middle school (I think....?) and I don't think id feel the same about them if I read them now as a 22 year old. I really need to read The Diviners! Also, I've been in a huge paranormal romance mood and read Dark Lover by J R Ward in two days and its an 18 book series. They're fun and definitely a trash but I love them type book.

I'm currently listening to the imortal rules trilogy. I liked the first book. The second one is fine, but I think that it is really repetetive. They're really fun tho!! I'm loving reading about vampires again!

Okay good its not just me I am not a fan of six of crows I mean.....its good but I just I dont care about the characters. When I love characters I LOVE them and cry and think of them a lot....six of crows....I honestly cant finish it and I have tried. Also I love that the books you love and think are trash but love are the same as me lol I love paranormal romance...I am well aware how bad hush hush and fallen are but I cant hate them or throw them away lol

OMG Fallen!!! I just went to my mom's th\is morning to pick up the books I kept from high school days and that was one of them. I had let my friend borrow it and she dropped it in her pool- it's still so warped and sad looking 😂 Also- THERE'S A MOVIE????

You should continue House of Night, the first Book is very different from the rest! It gets more brutal with every book, you dont really touch the actual story in the first one
