Nebulon-Bs are pretty good honestly. Missile jamming is useful just generally but also specifically when attacking an Empire station since the Empire often gets a Victory-1 when defending, and the Longprobes let you easily scout out maps for capturable structures or to find the enemy formation before combat is met.

ive always valued map knowledge i think its one of the best things in the game, and now im starting to use longprobes and arcs more because of it

Thanks for your comment - I never really saw the appeal of the Nebulon-B before this, because they get destroyed quite easily and I really haven't seen them be too effective against any enemy, really. But the missile jamming is indeed something I'm missing in my current fleet setups, and I do always have trouble with those pesky Victory-1's. The longprobes is a bonus on top. The video doesn't really mention what the Nebulon-B's advantages are, so again it's good to see your comment.

MC30s: they really got hit in 2.10 as their torps got slashed in half from Duals to singles. I do still think it's A tier not B since MC30 wolfpacks take attrition very well. And if you have one or two in your fleet you can use them like a sturdy B-Wing squadron. Also overcharge shield buffs hull resistance too so you can micro against assault missiles if shields are still on.

I've only unlocked them recently, but just as everyone on the internet seems to say the MC-30 seems to be a powerhouse. Those torpedos just smash hardpoints hard, pulling through where my squadron's of X-wings and Y-wings fail. The main disadvantage of the torpedoes is that their projectile speed is so incredibly slow. It's not that the fire rate is bad, the fire rate is higher than I expect every time, and they fire a lot of torpedoes per volley too. But it takes so long before the torpedoes hit their targets that there's a high chance of their targets being destroyed by the time the torpedoes get there. To illustrate; if I send in the MC-30's with the rest of the fleet to hit a large target, they are a huge help as they can destroy shield generators much faster than fighter squads or laser/ion fire can. Once the shields are down though, the joined Turbolasers of the rest of the fleet will destroy targeted hardpoints fast, and the MC-30's torpedo's will always be too slow and too late to damage anything. So there's 2 solutions: 1. Micromanage the MC-30's and the fleet specifically so that the MC-30's always target different hardpoints than the rest of the fleet. This is intense micro-management though, and honestly becomes tiring very fast. 2. Only send MC-30's after enemies not targeted by the rest of the fleet. That's where the overall weakness mentioned in the video comes in though, as MC-30's are no frontline battle units, and you will always be losing some of them when you use them like this. In the end i'd say it's a good though somewhat complicated to use unit. High A tier seems a proper choice IMO!

The actual most expensive space unit of the Rebellion is the Mandator II super star destroyer, with the MC80 Independence being the second most expensive before you get access to the Mediator battlecruiser Now on regards of some of the MC80s: -The MC80A is now cheaper at 19K credits, which is 2,000 less credits than the MC80 Liberty, making them more reliable and a good match with ion focused ships like the MC40s -The MC80 Liberty can win against an ISD, specially since 2.10 as on that update its ion cannons went from medium to heavy and the secondary turbolasers became medium on caliber, which gives them heavier firepower to match almost any other capital ship. On the other hand, the MC80 Freedom has the same problem as the Dauntless, but the former is less bulky, which in turn makes it easier to destroy, however, it has powerful stun ion cannons that allow the cruiser to destroy shields and lower fire rate of enemy capital ships, but it requires more support from other star cruisers, making it less viable

Mandator isn't a great ship for the Alliance, you have to take Kuat to build it and unless you cheese a string of raids to make it work you're probably not doing that until late game when you're already pretty dominant.

@@kelariusable Mandator is more useful as a defensive unit, but having the same HP as the Bellator and almost the same arsenal (only difference being that the Mandator II has heavy ion cannons) it can be just as viable as its imperial counterpart 4

There are 2 ships I consider sepulcher ships for the Rebels in AoTR. Those are Assault Frigates and Libertys. If I had my way there would be no married or only children on those ships. I agree with everything BUT the MC-40... which is funny since I guess you didn't expect a fight? The MC-40 dropping some free y-wings as well as absolutely eating shields? I love it. About the best way to hunt and kill big boys.

On the note of Syphernas: I do like them, but the fire angles being only front for TLs and Hvy LCs is backbreaking. Especially coupled with their avg turn they can't perform the fast attack role the could. I think that the front cannons should be made turrets and allow them to shoot behind the ship so you can manoeuvre them.

@@captonx2 with that they make much better picket then hunter. If I don't need the jammer I use them in place of Neb Bs but more aggressively.

@@Admiral_Grufus high, prolly a tier, great unit but doesn’t fit the rebels vibe of being cheap and fast, also doesn’t fit well with rebel strategies but it’s still a great ship so

The Mc40 is such a good ship imo. Keep them back, let them eat up shields and then use assault frigates, cruisers or dauntless’ to do the rest while the mc40 can start help taking down fighters

Mandator II is the most expensive Rebel unit, you have to pay 60 000 credits and capture Kuat, where you can build them. But it is the Super Star Destroyer. P.S. Arquitanse cruiser is much better than Marauder, since you don't have to tech up and upgrade your space stantion.

I’ve seen people saying the arquitense is better some saying the marauder is better, my vote is for the marauder but both are good

@@captonx2 I would rather have light ion cannons on a small ship than light turbolasers as primary weapons on a ship than a MC80 cruiser can easily kill

(A bit late ^^" 5:25 = I think it is has to be in High A tier or Lower S Tier because of the drawback of how expensive it is to get it event with discounts and all. But it is all worth it mainly because it is another Flagship for the Rebel Alliance aside from the limited MC80a Home One Type Star Cruiser. You can built many of those at a price but it is still worth it. Superior Firepower and just great hull and shields 8:25 = I agree with it being in the middle. Like some units, the Dreadnought-Class Heavy Cruiser is really helpful in Early Stages of the Game and will definitely bolster the Alliance Navy early on. It is great to be used in Wolfpacks along with the AAF and the Twin Bladed Frigate 10:00 = What I would want in the next update for the Hammerhead is that they have an ability to ram other units like the Star Destroyer it did in Rogue One. Just a suggestion ^^" 12:38 - 13:42 = Really? ^^" I mean true the Marauder-Class doesn't deal damage but is a great artillery unit. You can build three minimum in a fleet to provide Artillery Damage from afar and snipe out hardpoints. However, if you unlocked the Twin Bladed Frigate, then you can shift production to that because it is much more great in terms of firepower from the Marauder. 14:07 - 15:02 = True drawback is just the Space Tech. Yeah Wolfpack MC30cs are a bit to much Overpowered. 17:20 = Before the update, I think this would be a High B or Low A because of the sheer amount of firepower from it's Rocket Launchers. Two to Three you can just shred Hard Points like butter. 20:33 = Both the MC80a Justice and MC75 are yes great starter Capital Ships but once you get like Dauntless, MC80a Home One Types, Freedoms and Liberties it really falls out of the Production Line aside from its Bubble Shield ability. 23:54 = Coming from what you said, you could just build individual fighter wings to supplement your fleet. I think the Quasar-Fire Class Escort Carrier is great if you want starfighter superiority once you entered the Fleet Battle. The Fighter and Bomber load out are great as well. Here are my comments on the Tier List. Do highly note that I don't mean any disrespect on your tier list and I respect your opinion and agree with almost all of your tier. ^^")

I probably use Hammerheads early game more than you do, so I’d only put them higher up. Also they look like old KOTOR republic cruisers, so there’s my bias

Yo the mc60 is dope man easy a teir i always have 2 in a fleet as they can stand up to fire from moderate fleets and strip sheilds while i pummel em with marauders and dreadnought variants. The mainstay of moncal ships is their sheild strength so 2 together is better than an isd if i recall.

Worth noting every Dreadnaught you build can be refit into a Twin Blade or a Assault Frigate Mk1 once you get the Tech for them. The Marauder is SLIGHTLY better then the Arquitens since it has ion cannons, but otherwise they are basically in the same boat. The MC80 Justice is the BEST Battle Carrier in the game, Change my mind. Not only does it preform the Battle Carrier role but its got the shield bubble to support the WHOLE fleet. The Rebel Capitals and some of the Cruisers probably should get hanger upgrades with advanced fighter tech, just like the Imperials. Like once you get access to the "iconic" fighters/bomber of the rebellion you really should be able to upgrade your "old" ships to use those craft. (seriously who uses z95s, r41s and T wings when you have X wings?) At the very least give the old ships X wings and Y wings, although the Mon Cals could get B wings (they did design and build them after all). The Dauntless is a pretty STRONG capital ship and for what you pay for it, it should be. Its a Brawler Capton, its supposed to get stuck in and start BLASTIN. Heavy Armor, Grate Shields (slow charging though), Tanky, LOTS OF GUNS, and it even gets a Jammer to boot. Its one of the FEW ships where i can say with a straight face "shove it between 2 enemy capital ships and watch the fireworks", Its a beautiful sight to behold. (Shack has managed to do that couple of times, get both sides firing) "You need to do a entire mission line to get the Independence" Ackbar's mission i assume? Other then that it comes from CAPITAL TECH 2 funny enough.

I do agree, the MC80 Justice should have a hangar upgrade with X-Wings, A-Wings and maybe B-Wings (evem though Y-Wings are still very good)

One little mistake you made: the MC-75 is actually the cheapest capital ship by about 2-3 thousand credits. (unless this was changed recently)

@@captonx2 yeah I completely agree, as many units have certainly changed in the last half a year (Lictors, Corellian Battlecruisers, Imperial Escort Carriers, Tagge Battlecruisers, and likely many others that I can't think of).

24:25 I think that it's where the bomber Quasar should be. D tier. I don't like Y-Wings. I don't like that I get a single B-Wing I can't fit into the composition well. I don't see a reason of buying it over fighter Quasars. Or straight up B-Wing squadrons.

lol nice comment at the end for what’s worth this is an old video, also I don’t really use those ships much and so that’s why there ranked low, it’d probably be MC40 close to b but C tier and Marauder B tier close to A,
