Wilt and Shaq is he most physically dominant, Kobe is the hardest worker thus arguably the most skilled, Curry is the best shooter, LeBron is a physical freak of nature, Michael has great athletic ability, big hand, Magic is a freakin tall point guard. Larry Bird? To be in the conversation while he is not physically gifted, not athletic, cant jump, not quick nor fast. That is so special. Shows how smart, how determined, how bad he was.

While I agree with the choices of bird and MJ in the starting team, I believe that your second team would realistically beat them easily in a series. my all time team ( in any era, including physical ones) PG LeBron James (2016) (rim pressure, scoring, playmaking, post defense) SG Michael Jordan (1992) (scoring, perimeter defense, clutchess) SF Larry Bird (1985) (scoring, shooting, passing, clutchness) PF Nikola Jokic (2023) (post scoring, rebounding, IQ, playmaking, efficiency) C Hakeem Olajuwon (1995) (rim protection, rebounding, post scoring) This team has everything. Players who can play in the post (everyone in the lineup), great rebounders (Olajuwon, Jokic, Bird, LeBron), high IQ players with passing ability ( Jokic, LeBron, Larry), tenacious defenders ( Olajuwon, Jordan), players who can hit a game winner if needed (Jordan, Bird, Jokic).

I'm 42... MJ was a freak of nature in the 80-90s... Now every college team has 1-2 players who are as athletic as Jordan was in his prime. Lebron is superior pretty much all around.

@@juanio7036 that wilt hadnt great teammates is a myth. His warriors were ranked as the greatest team ever and his lakers with west and baylor is a no brianer. Before russell, celtics won nada and after him, it took 5 years to win a another chip. Russell was the better team player and winner. But as soon wilt reduced his numbers, he won chips. I like wilt, he is no 7-10 in my book but he came too many times short in the clutch.

Danny Granger once said if Kobe played at eastern conference, he would go finals every year. Thats the the reality from 1999-2018, best 3 teams always at western conference. Lebron so overrated, he needed to team up with brunches of talents and superstars. U guys talk like warriors 2015-2016 was superteam, but actually they weren’t if you compare the core of their teams. Warriors’ Trios had 2nd round and 9th 11th pick. But Cavs got 4 top5 pick( Lebron Irving 1st, TT 4th, K love 5th). Lebron always have better squads after 2010 but still lost. 2014 Spurs trio were washed 32, 34 and 36. They Still beat HEATLES WITH RAy GUN. So stop d ride ur Queen bron

Malone only has him on rebounding and interior defense. btw his point total was heavily inflated by having the all time assist leader spoon feeding him.

I prefer bird but lebron is undeniable. Look at Isiah Thomas talk about how he did everything wtih no great coach/guidance. I would say Bill Russell has to be centre out of greatness, not the best play but did the right things to win. E.g. durant is one of best scorers and players ever but he wont be greater than lebron

@@italiancapo7 ironically Isaiah Thomas is the most hated on. Left off the Dream Team and left off every all time list even though they won titles on Jordans watch. Generally for MVPs it gets increasingly harder to win them multiple times especially in a row. Bird, like a few others, was good enough to win three in a row, but in just about every case except Birds, being good enough wasn't good enough. With all that said Birds high release jump shot is still the gold standard and he is an all-time top 10 player.

The last dance showed all jordan accomplishments and his glory days. All those season he had plenty bad games. For example all those 50 point games an still average 30 ish points per game? Then he had some 20 point or less games for that to average out. Lebron is hands down the greatest basketball player in nba history. He can score with the best of them but he can run an offense too

@@juanio7036 Jordan needed Dennis Rodman and pippin to win the last 3 chips. so Jordan needed 2 superstars to win. his first 3 peat there was no competition. and he almost lost to the jazz when he had Dennis an pippin. the refs made them win. WOW

Or maybe, just maybe, your own racial bias leads you to believe that Larry, a white guy, couldn’t possibly beat a black guy at basketball. News flash for ya, Larry would absolutely torch LeBron, and every other person (regardless of race) that guards him. That’s just how it is.
