Good Luck to Jack in college, I just arrived to mine Sunday. It’s been hard to even squeeze any game time in for games during orientation but I’ve gotten a few hrs in. As classes start I’ll ironically have more time for games so I’m looking forward to that. Hope Jack is adjusting well and good luck to Alex as well!! It’s so fun to see people my age enjoying mainly single player titles as our generation is very multiplayer focused from my experience. My dorm is kinda small but I do have a room to myself so that’s nice. Looking forward to the subsequent boss ranking to come! Also I’m aware this would be a lot of work and take time which you are sparse on right now but ever thought of doing a discord server. I get the Ganon’s Tower rant, and I also don’t care for final dungeons, but I think this version of Ganon’s Tower/Castle has enough unique elements going on to where I have to give it some credit. The music is great. It’s like a sedated and creepier version of the usual Ganon’s tower music. The phantom ganon maze and section is pretty cool. The boss fights (minus the lazy repeats) are pretty epic. This is probably my favorite iteration of Ganondorf as a character, and second favorite Ganondorf battle after the TOTK one. The scene where puppet ganon reveals itself is lowkey nightmare fuel, and the final climb to the top of the tower is a standout moment. If they’d have just eliminated the repeat fights and had some standard dungeoning before the phantom ganon maze, this would have been a nice little final dungeon and gauntlet imo.

Great video, Alex! I'm glad that I'm not the only one who considers The Wind Waker to be the weakest of the 3D Zelda games, and, although I do still like the game quite a bit, the poorer dungeon quality and amount of padding both drag it down for me. My Ranking: 1. Tower of the Gods 2. Dragon Roost Cavern 3. Wind Temple 4. Earth Temple 5. Forbidden Woods 6. Ganon's Tower 7. Forsaken Fortress As much as I dislike Ganon's Tower, I personally find Forsaken Fortress to be the most insufferable dungeon in the game. As a huge fan of the original Thief games (as well as the Dishonored duology and the couple of MGS games I've played), I love stealth games, but this series never ceases to make stealth missions either a joke or a chore to complete. I agree that Tower of the Gods is far and away the best dungeon in Wind Waker, and it's close to making my top 10 dungeons in the series as a whole. Dragon Roost Cavern is one of my favorite first dungeons, but I think my favorite first dungeon would have to be Deepwood Shrine from The Minish Cap. As for my least favorite dungeon in the franchise, that dishonor definitely belongs to Turtle Rock from A Link to the Past. I'm not sure who thought it was a good idea to have you ride around on automatically moving platforms through rooms with nearly unavoidable gigantic fire-bars (straight out of Super Mario Bros.), but it just feels like complete BS that relies more on RNG than skill. Good luck to you and Jack on starting college. I know it's a difficult change that requires plenty of adjustment, but it's also exciting to take the next step in your life and education. It blows my mind to think that it was 9 years ago that I, myself, started college, and I can't believe how quickly that time has flown by. Anyway, great video as always, and I look forward to your future content (and don't worry about not uploading as often, as we all understand).

I'm very fond of Wind Waker myself with a lot of bias admittedly, but the nature of how the game is received doesn't make it too surprising that somebody loves it less than I do. Nice description by the way. Though I fucking love this game, even I admit that I'm never dying to play endgame, I don't hate the final dungeon, but it's hardly a high point. I remember enjoying the forest dungeon more, but I feel that's more what is surrounding it than the dungeon itself, I loved how you get to it and using the leaf in general. I also loved the earth temple as a kiddo, I thought the puzzles were cool and I just really enjoyed that dark atmosphere myself. Boss kind of shoots it in the foot though I have to admit.

Solid list as usual guys! I totally get that starting college and moving into new dorms is gonna take some time to figure out in regards to making new content, so obviously no worries there. Wish you both the best of luck on your educations by the way (just recently finished my own eight-year long college education a few months ago myself)! As for my own ranking: 7. *Ganon's Tower* 6. *Wind Temple* 5. *Dragon Roost Cavern* 4. *Forbidden Woods* 3. *Earth Temple* 2. *Tower of the Gods* 1. *Forsaken Fortress* As much as I love this game (probably my favorite Zelda game aside from Majora's Mask), I gotta admit the dungeons really aren't that impressive. Not to say that I think they're bad or anything, but none of them really stand up to the best dungeons in the franchise, and as a whole they're just kinda underwhelming.

Yeah I love wind waker but yeah there's only one or two dungeons I particularly like in this game and that's the first dungeon for all the nice visuals and the tower of the gods. Good luck in college.

By the way, Alex, I remember you mentioning that you had started the original FF7 a while back. How are you enjoying that? Just curious as it's a nostalgic game for me and really ignited my love for RPGs as a kid.

Lul, the lil "Dene" dudes. My memories of this game are foggy, but I'd imagine for a normal person, having that many WW bokoblins in one place would prob wear on a man's nerves after a while (I personally always LOVED their silly noises, but I'm not normal. XD).

I actually never beat this game because of that AWFUL triforce hunt, I just looked it up instead because good lord I wasn't doing that. Metal Gear Link was such a trash level too, at least the second time has a really fun boss fight at the end. I really didn't enjoy a single dungeon besides the Tower of the Gods and Dragon Roost. Everything else was just uber annoying for me compared to Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. At least most of the game's bosses were pretty good or at least quick. I loved this game as a kid but looking back, man there was a lot of BS.

Ganon's Tower worst dungeon in the series? Uh, Great Bay Temple and Temple of the Ocean King (unfortunately) exist. It's not even the worst final dungeon in the series. That dishonor goes to Great Palace from Zelda 2.
