One thing I appreciate was the randomness of Cierra, West, and Max testing Noah's "abilities." At first it came off as filler, but to see the payoff in the end was honestly amazing. The blindfolded dance may not have been crazy impressive, but that plot line is like one of my favorites of the whole season. I just like Noah as a character in all honesty.

Season 3 is superior and sorry but nothing can change my mind. 😂 Well actually 1-3 will always be superior but season 3 always is the one i rewatch and can still enjoy all of the time

My opinion: 1 (best). Season 1. It seemed very real and Daniel’s injury was very serious compared to Richelle’s and Noah’s injuries. They were in different places yet it seemed to have linked together quite nicely. They had their own roles. It seemed quite natural and the variety of personalities. 2. Season 3. The dances were amazing since Internationals were amazing and peaked. This time they had alternates (they had alternates before but they left before Nationals) There futures were planned out and it seemed as a family, such as Season 1. It was less unrealistic because MARGIE “disappears” for a Reality DANCE TV show. 3. Season 2. It really shows everyone’s storyline and it connects well on from the previous season. I liked how we also saw B-Troupe and J-Troupe and also how they did ‘The Challenge’. I especially liked it how they had a whole episode of J-Troupe Auditions. Emily’s injury was, like Daniel’s, very cared for and how she couldn’t dance again. It was slightly unrealistic because when James tries to get Michelle back, he throws a flash mob with many dancers. How could he get many dancers in under a few hours. I did not like Eldon wasn’t dorky. 4. Season 6. They didn’t do auditions, which I felt was very brave, since they did do auditions in the past. I liked Michelle and Emily’s relationship, Piper’s Anxiety, Noah’s Future, Amy going to AcroNation. They didn’t go to different places, so that’s a con. Heather’s leaving was just there, like it had no explanation. Richelle could’ve just rested for a bit more time because of her Snapping Hip Syndrome. Kenzie and Finn could’ve had a storyline with Richelle as well. It was full of emotion. 5. Season 5. I didn’t like how some of the dancers were quite immature, like Jacquie. Zara could’ve had a better explanation on how she juggled Math(s). The new storylines were rushed. It’s great how they all merged together but I would like a bit more fun instead of igniting the drama to its peak. Richelle had a storyline, which is INCREDIBLE. 6. Season 7 (so far). It’s great overall, I liked the dances (so far) but the storylines are kind of cringey like Summer didn’t have the courage to tell Henry he couldn’t pick up the choreography and she turned the lights off to the whole season. I did like Kingston and Lily ship. Amy just appeared in the first episode and it didn’t lead on well from her off season episode. She could’ve auditioned back like the Lily situation. 7 (worst). Season 4. The dances could’ve been better executed but it was unrealistic because James kept going back and forth (Canada to London, London to Canada, Canada to Switzerland, Switzerland to London). It relied on a lot of relationships and the 0% Club didn’t make an impact on me. I think Miss Kate didn’t think how great it would be to make Riley to make Studio Head because she’s never had any experience. And Alfie was a prince? WHAT??

I love s1 because everyone just cared about each other and kept a look out for each other. What was so cute was when they said tns was a home and family. Everyone always felt safe at tns. And I loved that everyone was just caring and had different personalities. And the best thing about s1 is that it's fun and just the best I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DESCRIBE IT

I totally agree that season 1 was the best because I think that in the later seasons, the storylines were a lot more unrealistic and the plot and drama to season 1 was the perfect length. Therefore I think that season 4 was the worst because they dragged out the James, Riley and Alfie storyline out for way to long and the other characters barely had a storyline.

I would like to state my opinions in this very comment so that I don't have 1000000000 comments, imao: 1) I think Max's storyline is that he is quiet and everybody thinks he is missing elite, but actually he's just independent and private, and eventually he blossoms into being friends with some of the boys. 2) I kinda like that season 2 ended on a bad note because then everybody wanted season 3, and everybody watched it to find out about what happened. 3) I've never really liked Eldon I don't like his character. I'm avoiding a long comment this time round - I've been dwelling on the loss of my last one all week. So all I'm going to say is that I agree with pretty much all your opinions, but my personal order would be S2 at the top, then S6, S3, S1, S7, S5 and S4 at the bottom. This doesn't seem to be a popular opinion, but I loved the character development in S2, I agree wholeheartedly about the continuity and the new characters, and the Nationals episodes are far and away my favourite of the competition episodes (god I hope they make it back, it's looking like they're going to ditch Nationals in S7 and that's the one thing I didn't want them to do) - and S7 and S5 are kind of a tie for me. I liked them both far more often than I disliked them, I’ve loved multiple episodes in both, and I'm hoping S7 will pick up more in the second half - although I've already said that about it once before the main storylines began... We'll see. At the end of the day I love the show, so any available episodes are a good thing - even if they were released during S4 😂

season 4 was an absolute tragedy

The problem I have with Season 5 is that there were 2 unnamed characters on tns west. Briana was just named but she was never called it, Jordan, Tyler and Danielle had one unique scene with the merge and not wanting to be on it and LaTroy left relatively quickly. Briana and the unnamed's needed some plot, Jordan, Tyler and Danielle needed some more scenes. The only season that didn't need to be watched had some of the more forgettable characters. I wish they could have revealed the votes for Dance Captain because that would have been interesting. Lola and Ozzy probably voted for Richelle, Amy and probably Henry voted Piper and Josh and Jacquie voted for Noah (just guessing here). Noah probably didn't win by too many votes and Piper probably came second. Even Elliot had more plot than LaTroy.

Isnt anyone gonna talk about how in season 1 auditions chloe said emilys flexibility was INSANE but it wasnt really insane is was quite average.

Season 2 was by far my favorite. It was the most far drama has gone in TNS ever i think but i absolutely love all the dances, even a couple of elite ones. there was showstoppa, jiley's duet, rewind and it was just amazing. the drama really hooked me and the plot was so good.

Riley becoming studio head was practically the start of all the problems in Season 4. I didn't mind the Regionals loss, but when it all came down to a really silly and unnecessary decision, it just seemed ridiculous. Also when Kate left in Season 4, she didn't even say goodbye and left Riley to tell everyone. I don't think she even called to try and see how Riley was doing and only returned after the loss occurred. When she returned in Season 5, she just oversaw what Emily and Michelle were doing. She barely did anything for the studio after resigning as studio head. Here is what she did (or didn't do): 1. After returning, she created Studio 1 and made Emily studio head and later Michelle for TNS East and West. 2. She didn't seem concerned that TNS West had no support and was not considered much of a legitimate troupe. 3. She decided to stop the studio from going to Regionals until the merge between East and West. 4. She fired Emily and Michelle, although Michelle had no idea about Richelle being injured and hired Miss Angela. She didn't even see how Miss Angela actually treated the A-Troupers. 5. She rehired Emily and Michelle and gave them an ultimatum about Regionals. 6. Realising she was not able to maintain the studio anymore she sells it to Nick, effectively renouncing her ties with the studio indefinitely. Like if you agree!

the amount of cons you listed in season 4 caught me off guard

Season 1, Season 2 and Season 3 were all great seasons. Season 4 had such a good start in the first 4 or something episodes, then it just dropped and became the worst season of all time, it was terrible, the plots were rushed, Alfie probably suffered the worst character derailment in the entirety of the show, even the quality changed. Season 5 was probably the most neutral season out of the lot, the puns were good though. It took me until season 6 to restore my original love for TNS, then a season even worse than season 4, if that was possible, came along. That was season 7. I freaking depise this season for multiple reasons. The toxicity, the constant cutting scenes, the rushed plots, the toxic relationships, Amy can never be single god damn once, what the heck did they do with Pinn too? Yeah. That's it in my opinion. I just hope season 8 isn't as bad, if we get one.

Season 7 is by far my least favourite. They recycled old character plots from early seasons, Summer is unlikable and annoying, most characters have no screentime nor plot, nick has way too much screentime, I wish a-troupe were going to nationals not dance mania, summer expects to constantly be given everything and I hate it when they have characters leave and don’t come up with an explanation eg when Richelle wasn’t there or Where Emily has gone. I know the actors and and actresses get busy but come up with an explanation, don’t just disregard their whole existence.

I completely agree with the rank also, Michelle said that she didn’t want to answer to Emily because they were both on a troupe in season one but Riley also ran the studio and also was on a troupe in season one so what is the difference, so I don’t understand why she could answer to Riley but not Emily.

My favourite seasons are 1 and 3. S1 was more of a "mockumentary" type style which I think worked well as the show didn't take itself too seriously, and S3 had some of my favourite dances of the show in the internationals. I think the storylines went a bit out of control eventually, and also have noticed that storylines from earlier seasons have started repeating themselves.

You forgot to mention on the first episode of season 4 they just disappeared in the mirror after they mentioned where they'll be going

In my option the worst bit about season 2 was that when a troupe found out that Amanda was a double agent and was still at Elite hunter and Emily didn’t get back together and that rlllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyy annoyed me. And I hated that dance battle so much but if the dance battle didn’t happen then idk if Thalia and Eldon would get together. If Eldon and Michelle did break up I wish they had a good reason too and that they would just stay friends. Love ur videos! Ur so good at tns decisions and stoooof. I think I remember in the Off-Season, when Emily said how Amy should've been taken out of the dance, because "everyone knows, you don't mix your personal life with your dance life" or something like that because LaTroy had just broken up with her. I don't think it was very realistic how Amy was - and I quote - "channelling all of her hate and anger into the dance" because that jeopardised the team's chances at winning; so, I think Amy should've been swapped with Michelle and Cassie should've stayed still, because she was still a strong dancer and was generally quite a humble member of the team. The Final Team for Regionals FInals (Season 4) should've been: Alfie Henry LaTroy Noah Cassie Michelle Skylar Amanda Piper Richelle

Season 4 was too strained

For me s1 is the gold standard, the Grand Poobaah. Everything came together in a unique synergy; the characters, the songs, the story lines, the tension, the dances, the realistic innocence of the acting and "scripts", the locations, the opponents, the lack of the silliness that became very much part of future seasons. Sometimes, these things just work and they reach deeply in ways that weren't particularly intended at the outset. Not all TV shows start strong but s1 is without a doubt, the measuring stick when it comes to "The Next Step." Many show's first seasons don't have to be. I think it was a fluke and I also think it took the show's creators by surprise which is possibly why the next couple of seasons seemed to me to be such a struggle. Getting to the top is the easier part. Staying there and getting further is another matter altogether. Naturally, it's not without its flaws ~ a couple of the latter episodes seriously flag {the stay late get together and the costume episode are particular guilty parties here} and there's some character inconsistency in Michelle that borders on the incredulous. Yet even those flagging episodes have some heavyweight scenes that are among the top echelon of TNS scenes. For me, there isn't a single episode in s1 that is unwatchable even if there are parts that I wouldn't cry for if I never saw them again. None of its flaws are deal breakers for me. Unlike later on, the comedy isn't forced. It feels natural and actually may not even be intentional comedy at all. What s1 has in spades and droves is balance. In a way, it had to. After all, it was moving along the road less travelled. It became the template and the challenge was always going to be to both top it and develop/progress. I am a big fan of the show still but in my book, it's certainly never topped the first season. On the other hand, it has, for the most part, continued to develop and progress despite some sizeable hiccups along the way. TNS has moved further and further away from its original premise as a reality TV styled show and whether that has been a good thing or a bad thing is open to debate. In s1 the aping of reality TV is at least convincing ~ I originally didn't have any interest in the show because I thought it _was_ a reality TV show and most reality TV bores me to the extent I avoid it like a wild eyed pit bull. It is also the season that integrates dance and drama better than any other and I say that as someone that isn't particularly a fan of dance. TNS ultimately moved in the direction of separation, you had the drama bits, you had the dance bits. But in s1, pretty much every dance that appears, right from the first episode, is more than just a dance ~ it's a vital part of the story. When I watch just about any other dance from any other season, I can appreciate it for what it is and it exists independently, stands on its own. The s1 dances cannot do that for me. They are _so_ integral to what is going on in the story at that moment and beyond, that isolating them as a RU-vid or Hulu video simply has me recalling their context and wanting to watch s1 all over again ! They are quite literally scenes from the show. The songs that were created for that first season just hit me left, right and centre, under, over sideways and down. There are a few films with songs that have done that to me in my life but the last was so long ago, I never thought such a thing would happen to me again. But the quality of the songs is insane. "Turn me around," "Feel the fire," "Made it go," "Can't get you outta my head," "We go," "Addicted 2U," "We do it big," "Inside out" and "More than that" are such a blast and a bit like the dances, encapsulate the scenes they appear in. I can't hear "We go" without seeing Riley slip her hand into James' on the bus, or "We do it big" without seeing Seeds wiggling about and TNS trying to match them or "Inside out" without seeing the intensity of Michelle and Eldon's duet rehearsals and Michelle flying through the air and Eldon catching her or "Addicted 2U" without being swept up in the demise of Emily's regime or "Made it go" without seeing Daniel practice his moves or "Can't get you out of my head" without seeing Eldon vault over Emily on their 3½ shake date....Unlike the dances however, the songs do stand alone as independent entities and are wicked songs, brilliantly written and executed, even though they always call to mind the scenes they were in. Many of them also gave rise to great alternative versions that get used as incidental music in different scenes down the years. S1 also fully realized every A troupe character {their characters were pretty well pegged out by the time they arrived at regionals} and each one got significant screen time. I don't think this happened again until s4. All in all, it's my favourite season and in my mind, is going to take some beating, if it ever does actually get beaten.

YESSSSSS! This was exactly my order! I really liked season 1 and I think everyone knows that season 4 was just so rubbish and boring. One thing though I don't know about everyone else but I didn't like that there were 40 episodes in season 4 because it just felt SO long and it lasted for AGES, and then when it came to season 5 there were just half the amount and I felt like 20 was just too short. The thing is, I don't know how season 7 is going to turn out to be, but I just hope they don't change the whole aspect of the show because of all this dance mania hype and going on TV, like that just does not feel like TNS, and I think everyone REALLY wants A-Troupe to go to Nationals this season, but they really are just focusing on Dance-Mania. However, I've seen the plot line for the next episode (11), and the episode is called 'There can only be one' and it says that A-troupe have to decide which way they want to go. So I think by next week, we should finally know if they're going to compete at Nationals or go on Dance-Mania. Just one suggestion, could you do a home life video for the characters, so what you think the characters are like in their general home lives. Loved this vid! xxx

GUYS SEASON 4 IS SO GOOD WHAT ARE Y'ALL SAYING 😂 Like I get a lot of the plots where unrealistic but for me it was the most entertaining 😂 (Riley as studio head was so bad but also so incredibly funny)

Season 2 I don't think I have ever looked forward to a season of a telly show more than I did TNS season 2. As a show, s1 had just taken our household by storm from when we discovered it in the summer of 2014 on holiday in Holland. I'd even bought the DVD boxed set and watched the final episodes before they aired on the BBC and actually did a marathon watching every episode of s1 in a single viewing. Did so much reading up and couldn't wait for it. And wow, it started with a fizz and a bang and a half and then some ! The Next Step plane was ascending higher and higher with potentially great writing and ideas which could have overhauled s1, Zoltan and his manservant notwithstanding. New or previously very minor characters {Beth, Hunter, Thalia, Phoebe, Noah, Richelle, some of the J-troupers} were phased in, old faves {like Chris, Tiffany and Stephanie} were phased out and the idea to freshen up the cast though disappointing from a fan fave point of view, was a good and quite gutsy one.....if it worked. There really are some great ideas and brilliant execution of scenes in parts of the season...............but they are comparatively few and far between after the scenes in which Daniel leaves. I don't know what happened but the rest of the season after around episode 11 was like watching a plane struggling to maintain altitude then nosediving into a crash land situation. The great parts were suffocated and soaked up by the lame parts. And like an album that has 3 masterpieces on it but 7 clunkers, unfortunately, the clunkers are what the album will be remembered for. Either that or the album will be only thought of as an artifact with 3 great songs and listeners in denial. There are so many mis-steps in season 2, where does one begin ? James' driving instructor ? The beginning of Riley's demise ? The "Emily outs the double agent" story line ? The virtual anonymity of Thalia ? The overwhelming underuse of Phoebe ? The speed with which Michelle leaves the studio ? The West/Giselle axis that just does not work ? The James tests ? The Hunter cake ? The flash mob ? West pretending to be a big star at Nationals ? Gluuuurrrrp ! And talk about black holes, where was the conclusion of any of the J troupe mentoring ? Or Emily explaining to Hunter why she dumped him in the aftermath of Amanda leaving ? Come to think of it, why didn't she rekindle their "ossom" flame ? It speaks volumes that Beth is probably the season's most consistent character. But I found it a very disappointing season and a big surprise was how poorly integrated the dancing overall was until Nationals. S2 does end strongly, with intrigue and mystery, but the strength of the ending couldn't cover up much of what had previously been shown. But there was worse to come.

I feel like season 4s only substance was the Ralfie/jiley drama. If you take that away nothing really stands out about the season, the relationships were poor (Noah and Amanda felt very weird to me because if you think back to season 2 and how they both looked. I'm just going to leave you with that) Honestly I think too many key characters were taken out from season 3, it should have been more staggered so we still felt a connection and an ongoing family feel to the team despite having some new members we could still have familiar faces and once the other characters gradually left we still could feel a strong connection with the team as we would have gotten to know them the previous season. On the other hand one thing I did like was the fact TNS lost regionals because I feel like that is very realistic considering Riley paid absolutely no attention to the team and it would be ridiculous for them to win every competition. Losing is a big part of dance and it can't be helped. Also wtf were the writers thinking making Alfie a prince. Surely someone must have recognised him. Think about the British royal family; it doesn't matter if you are a brit or not everyone still knows what they look like. If prince Charles was suddenly a teacher at your school its hardly as if he would go unnoticed.

Personally, I'd rank it: 1. Season 2 2. Season 1 3. Season 6 4. Season 3 5. Season 4 6. Season 7 7. Season 5 Other than how some seasons switch places from time to time depending on how I feel , I currently agree with this placement. I think that all of the seasons had at least a few good moments and all had some sort of entertainment value. The reason 4 is not last is because I found all of the characters dance styles refreshing in that season refreshing and just found the cast change in general a nice touch. I could elaborate more on my rankings if anyone wants I just don't want to write a full on essay lol.

Does everyone hate S4?

[WARNING, SPOILERS AHEAD FOR SEASONS 1-7.] My opinions on Season 7. In my opinion, Season 7 is the worst Season so far. Season 4 was a write off, in Season 5 the only mentional of regionals/nationals/internationals, was shoved right at the end of the Season, seriously they only really started talking abut the qualifying video, about 5 episodes before it took place (which I think was because like it was a surprise or something to them, but I still think it was a bit weak,) and then FINALLY there was some more dancing, where we got to see them at regionals. Obviously this set up high expectations, as Season 2, and all the nationals dances were fantastic, and they did all that for what?! Just so they could decide to go to Dancemania?!?! Richelle said in the recent episode that being captain + going to regionals/nationals/internationals, was always her big dream, up until Dancemania. Like?!?! I don't understand. We've had 6 SEASONS BEFORE HAND building up to all of these ambitions and goals for her, and this is what we get!? Also, why has no one talked about how they are sending B TROUPE to Nationals?! Firstly, the writers seem to have forgotten that they are competing in the Senior Division, and secondly, THE SHOW HAS ALWAYS BEEN CENTERED AROUND GETTINGS TO REGIONALS/NATIONALS/INTERNATIONALS. It's just so annoying to me. Also, we all thought the writers had forgotten about the Dance Diary, however they mentioned it a couple of episodes ago, and THAT WAS IT?! LIKE SERIOUSLY?!?! This is just so frustrating. Didn't they have the rule or something at Nationals where the team could change, but there always had to be at least ONE person that went to Regionals there?!? We HAVEN'T even gotten onto HALF of the arguments here. Okay, can we just talk about the relationships in this season? Like seriously, was there a need for that many. So far, there is 7 (based on what I have counted) JUST IN THIS SERIOUS ALONE. Only in the last two episodes, have we seen any real storyline from anyone not in a relationship. It's a DANCE mockumentary. Seriously, I've just counted, and there's been about 9 episodes JUST dedicated to romance. This isn't even including all the side-stuff added onto ends of episodes. It's COMPLETELY ridiculous.Also, let's just talk about these couples: Kingston and Lily - Literally had the potential to be a beautiful couple, especially with how Miss Angela wouldn't let them date. The show should have played that out longer, so they could grow to love each other, keeping their relationship a secret from others, allowing for some hillariously-awkward moments, and cute, secretive, just-us moments, that weren't shared with the rest of the team. This would have made it more impactful when Miss Angela finds out they were dating. Literally, they could have had that whole scenario going on in the back of a day at Nationals, or an important mark. Instead, they made the tense-moment last for about 5 SECONDS then she said, 'oh alright.' Like seriously?!?! This is not to be confused with a main story-line. They need to keep this drama at the back of the show, rather then pushing that before any dance content. They've also started doing the 'emotional, dance your feelings out' type of dances WAY to often, that I literally DO NOT care when something bad happens to a character. They don't allow enough time for characters to settle in, develop, and grow before something bad happening to them. Anyway, onto the next couple. Finn and Amy - This felt kind of forced not gonna lie, they bonded over what, tea?!? They literally didn't feel comfortable around each other until they talked about freaking tea for ONE afternoon? It just felt like another plot device to throw in the way of Finn and Piper dating. Finn and Piper - I don't know, with the amount of relationships in the show, it just becomes tacky, there was no real reason for Finn and Piper to get together. Like, I understand they like each other but why? They were friends before, but nothing really drived her to date him, except Amy, which I already think is stupid, as Piper's not really been one for love. I don't know, it kinda just feels like they're repeating the Jiley storyline, y'know, Beth kisses James, when James is in relationship. It's weird. Summer and Henry - Again, not much time for relationship to grow, so I didn't really care about them breaking up. Henry and Amy - Again, why? What was the need for this. Cleo and Jude - Nice, but again, I still don't really understand why they like each other? I'm gonna be honest, the only real relationship I would like to see from the show in this season, is Richozzy. Let me tell you why I would want these, rather then the others. Richelle and Ozzy have a long line of Chemistry. We have already seen from the partner-mating thingy, that they dance incredibly well together, and would kill a solo. Richelle is a fan-favourite, as she is determined, competitive, kind, and most of all, one of the show's longest running characters, with a continous plot. She was really underrated (so-far) in the season. Personally, I think Richelle would still want to go to Internationals rather then Dancemania, but that's besides the point. Ozzy has worked his way up the Troupes, just as Richelle has done. From J-TROUPE, to B-TROUPE, to A-TROUPE. Richelle used to see him as a 'little kid' who had a crush on him, but now she sees him in a different light. She has shown her appreciation in the past, for how much he has grown as a dancer, since the previous seasons. Ozzy has been given some TERRIBLE plot lines, if I'm going to be honest, with him constantly out 'eating food', or 'ill', it's stupid. He's a very strong dancer and deserves more screen time. This could be a great new story-line for him, but I would hope that he would get better, other story-lines as well. Not only do the fans love the idea of them, but they have a great string of history, that would just make viewers feel more connected to the relationship. For a long time this season, The Next Step has used relationships as the back-bone of the episodes. The dancers need to start getting some better story-lines, like seriously. Moving onto the next subject, studio heads/co-heads. With Emily and Nick being Co-Heads, you'd assume they'd do more then Admin work. In the first season, Chris and Kate were very engaged with their dancers, and felt as if they knew most of the going's-on in the studio. Emily and Nick have basically only had scenes where they decide what's going to happen, which they involve all the dancers in. It's been so long since we've seen a scene of a dancer coming to EMILY, or NICK, in their OWN office, rather then just when they see them, to tell them about personal-life, other then dance. Choreographers! Where are the choreographers this season? In 1 and 2 we had Chris, in 3, it was the Dance Captains, 4, I presume it was the Dance Captain, or Michelle again, 5 was West and Daniel, 6, we saw Eldon (for Acronation) and Noah/Emily/Michelle for East and West A-Troupe. But season 7?! Literally just the dancers doin whatever. Like wtf. Anyway's, I've probably missed a whole bunch of things, so lmk in the comments if I did, and your thoughts on Season 7.

I feel like if the writers were unsure about keeping the interest of the audience from the old seasons to the new seasons, instead of trying to keep the old a-troupers around and involved, they should have kept some of the old characters that were showcased in the episodes previously like gabi and becca. (I found it really disappointing having Gabi and becca very briefly shown if the auditions of season 4 and not acknowledged even briefly), jake (from b-troup, maybe some of the elite members that joined b troup. I know that directors and producers like to bring new cast and characters in some cases for shows to progress but I feel like it wasn’t executed in season 4 as it was in season 2 or 3 as mentioned. I think audiences would be interested in seeing original tns characters grow further, instead of a brand new lot and desperately trying to keep them interesting. But idk. (Me personally) sorry for my rant 💙💙

I think Margie was real because everyone could see her and she helped Chloe when she didn’t know what to do. I think The scene where she disappears Is in Chloe’s imagination , I think Chloe was imagining her being there because Margie usually had been there when Chloe was upset or confused.

so far season 7 is probably my least favorite, the team just isn't a team, and dance mania? what even. if they go to dance mania then none of them will even be allowed to go to nationals because they would be professional dancers. meaning what would they do for the next few seasons? will that just be it? they go to dance mania and its over?

My order would be S2 S1 S3 S4 S7 S6 S5 No one else agrees with my order, but I liked s4 because I shipped nomanda and I really liked Michelle’s character I also liked how tns didn’t win regionals because it was very unpredictable, I also liked the story line of Ralphie vs jiley because it was obvious that jiley was endgame so it was just funny to see ralphie knowing they would flop. What I hated about s4 however was how Amanda got disrespected like that, I mean Riley what were you thinking!! Don’t get me wrong I love Riley she is my fave character in the show but like Amanda was by far not the weakest ! (Amanda is my second fave)

Personally, I love the Bangers and Mashup competition. I do think it was useless but I found it so entertaining and it was the only thing keeping S4 entertaining.

Season 2: I loved Nationals Season 1: the characters were amazing Season 3: it was really good in general Season 4: James and Alfie thing was interesting Season 5: it’s ok Season 6: stopped watching the show cause it got boring and repetitive Season 7: only watched for when Michelle left And season 1 is memorable because I was 7 when I started watching it and now I’m 13😂

Amy is kinda annoying to me ngl. I mean it's not her fault but there's always some kind of relationship drama with her ever since she joined in season 4. With the latroy and Sloane thing, then with the henry and Tyler thing and now she is messing with finn and piper. I dont like season 4 because it was focused on drama too much and amy is an example of it. I really dont want amy to ruin tns season 7 for me. i did not like season 5 either because the whole season was based on the tns west and east thing and it was getting boring. The characters did not really interest me in this season either and there should have been more screen time for people like Tyler so we can get to know their character better because the only time Tyler got any was the amy drama. There were unnamed people who were on tns west too, they were just there. Would have been nice to at least be introduced to them you know Felt like tns redeemed themselves with season 6 and 7 is doing good so far. Just feel like the storyline in season 7 was a bit rushed like when all of a sudden finn wants to take Amy on a date after they hanged out on their own like once. Lily and Kingston (don't get me wrong I ship alot) but they started dating after 1 duet wtf? And don't get me started on summer, her incapability to make a simple decision frustates me. Richelle should Just be captain I honestly think it would be for the good of the team because summer can't control them I'm sorry.

I completely agree with you about bringing back the original characters to keep fans interested in the new troupe. Characters like Henry have literally been on the troupe longer than Giselle or Eldon etc, yet they are so forgettable... tbh I think TNS should have called it quits after Season 3, cause it’s unlikely they’d win Internationals again with a troupe of completely different dancers.

i think that Alfie being a prince was good because that could of been what made Riley fall in love with Alfie.

It makes no sense that James was constantly traveling back and fourth. He litterly went from Canada no England, then from England to Canada, then from Canada to England (again), Then from England to Canada (again), THEN from Canada to Switzerland and from Switzerland to Canada. LITTERLY. Ik he's not poor he can afford flights and stuff BUT WHERE DID HE GET THE MONEY FOR 6 FLIGHTS????? And I don't like how riely kicked Amanda off the Final regionals dance. She said that Amanda what apparently not focused on A troupe and always distracted or something like that and that why she took her off the dance. I mean she was mostly at the hospital whit noah wich did make her miss some rehearsals but if riely didin't want Amanda to go to the hospital so she wonld't miss rehearsals, she could have just told Amanda to stay. And she shouldn't have let Michelle dance after she litterly fainted on stage. She is the studio head and she is allowed to decide on these kind of things. I felt so bad for Amanda because she choose A troup over a WORLD WIDE DANCE TOUR and the next thing you know she gets kicked off off the final dance. And can we just talk about Riley LITTERLY DATING ONE OF HER STUDENTS??!!! I mean ik there probably around the same age BUT STILL. IMAGINE IF THAT HAPPENED IRL. Riely was just an awful studio head and thing's would have gone even more down hill if emily didn't come to help her. Wich kinda makes me feel sad for Riely. I feel like Amanda's character in season 4 came full circle, because in season 2 she said elite bever showed her any lover. Plus she has felt betrayed by Miss Kate, Giselle and Thalia, so she could finally be herself around Noah because she knew he loved her, and she did have some of her wittyness in season 4.

I agree with all your opinions except for the season 4. I thought season 4 was a brilliant season even though it was mostly about Riley, James and Alfie. Other than that, the dances were amazing and the team was consisted with young talented dancers. The storylines were amazing such as James's sister (Piper ) joining a A-troupe, Skylar joining A-troupe, Sloane and Latroy not able to do contemporary etc. The season even had an Anti Bullying Episode which was really thoughtful because it could help you how to deal with bullying in many different ways. Most of the viewers on The next step are probably still in school and when they saw the Anti Bullying Episode it gave them an idea to deal with bullying or to even stand up to one. VIDEO'S SUGGESTIONS: WHICH A-TROUPE WAS THE STRONGEST WHO HAD THE BEST CLOTHES ON THE NEXT STEP AND DID IT SUIT THEM? WHICH WAS THE BEST RIVAL TEAM THAT COMPETED AGAINST THE NEXT STEP (elite, ladies of destruction, sweden, geminis, encore & acronation) WHO WOULD MAKE A GOOD DANCE CAPTION FOR EACH SEASON?

Tbh season 5 is my least favourite season here’s my order: 1. S1 2. S3 3. S2 4. S7 5. S6/4 (don’t come at me) 6. S5

I'm back now that I finally managed to watch season 7, so here are my opinions: 1. Season 3 - Amazing dancing, Won internationals, good relationships, little to no drama (and if there was it was realistic and not all romantic based), all dances performed were epic, good storylines, Amanda did not get proper chance though, and Max didn't really interact with everyone, and Lucien being an internationals judge is kinda unrealistic. 2. Season 6 - Everyone was a family, character development in all characters, all the dances were memorable and superb, emotional to watch, cool, unique storylines (prom, escape room), characters had fun, some immature moments however, and the whole henry, ty, amy, summer love quadrangle was kinda stupid. 3. Season 2 - So many iconic dances, all of the other troupes were featured well, great relationships and friendships, all the dancers improved vastly since season 1, but some storylines were kind of unrealistic aka the flash mob or the problem with michelle when shopping. i also think the season was dragged out for too long. 4. Season 1 - Good storylines, it was actually realistic (school exists, they have life outside of dance), scenes outside of the studio, some romance but not too much, dancing wasn't as great as other seasons, and there weren't many other dances apart from groups (few solos, duets and i'm pretty sure there weren't any trios). 5. Season 5 - Great dancing, richelle finally got a freaking proper friendship, wasn't too romance oriented, merging of troupes created a family, starting her own troupe was a bit petty of michelle, idk why emily would not let hip hop dancers audition, the whole storyline was too based around the opposing troupes 6. Season 4 - They actually had really good dances, good relationships mostly, but it was kind of seperated (aka zero percent club, previous internationals dances, they kept relying on the previous troupe to keep the story going, all the ralfie and jiley drama was honestly too much, and who the heck can just fly out to london and leave the team at 18 while trying to run their own dance studio. 7. Season 7 - Glad richelle finally got some recognition, but they chose a really bad way to display that, pinn happened, but through a terrible storyline, characters just seemed really immature (slamming the door in richelle's face, the sulking in the audience), kenzie was basically completely ignored, character development from last season completely was thrown out the window, too romance oriented, and a troupe had to choreograph for themselves like what happened to ms angela?

Completely agree season 4 was a joke 1 Why is there a teenager with no experience at all in leading a team the new head of a professional studio that just won internationals? Like WTH I could have understood if someone like Emily whom we know went to Business School and is a former Dance captain takes over ,but Riley taking that role is just the worst idea ever. Besides the fact that Riley did an AWFUL job as a studio head, she was the studio head and she went pit with one of the dancers. Like... ARE YOU EVEN SERIOUS ? She had the opportunity of changing the first qualifier trio and she didn’t event though it was clear that Noah wasn’t okay. The all story with James was simply too dramatic, like there was literally all episodes were their drama was everything and the dance part of the DANCE SHOW was put aside . That was simply mad And why is Alfie a Prince? There’s absolutely no need for that . Also if the Prince of Switzerland wanted to dance in a professional dance troupe he could just buy a studio or even hire a professional dancer to train him . Then LaTroy leaves for months and he became a featured dancer in regionals whereas Amanda had literally been running the studio with Michelle while Riley was away looking for the love of her life that close to regionals which is super UNPROFESSIONAL . Amanda clearly has been more committed to the team on season 4 than Riley I’m not even gonna speak about the fact that Michelle dances with herself like WTF if you think about it Michelle might have schizophrenia of something cause seeing other people coming from nowhere is simply not normal This was just my opinion btw! i do agree with your order and everything you say, season 1 is definitely the most realistic for how teenagers like act and talk which i think should really be continued in season 7, also season 3 was very entertaining and there was loads of storylines and it felt like each episode was dedicated to one person, also is anyone watching noughts and crosses on iplayer, if not watch it it’s so so good ps: max was so underrated and i wish he had an actual real storyline
