I think the Revan novel is good as a stand alone, but when you played both games and the mmo it's just... well not the best. The author had to build up the story to fit into the old republic mmo. So the ending was, sadly, to be expected. But the biggest issue for many was the mischaracterization from Meetra Surik, which I agree with. I loved how Revan and Scourge in the book though. But I wished, as you have said, it was a different setting and ONLY about Revan. :/ Anyway, great list! I have only read Revan so far, but I am excited to read the rest! :)
@@Smartiie_ hey thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. Yeah I wish I had maybe experienced the game and knew more of the lore/build up before going into it as Revan is regarded as one of the most memorable characters from the EU & Old Republic. I hope you enjoy the rest of them 🫡
@@DarthTamarus Both games are available on Steam for a reasonable price, I can highly recommend those! :) And I totally agree! I love Revan, his character, his story, everything. He's my all time favorite character!
Good video! 👏 The Bane trilogy is by far the best Star Wars books ever made to date! 💪 For these 4 books in particular, my order differs a little from yours, but overall you have summarized the general spirit of the 4 books well. 👍 I also recommend reading all 4 for a big fan of Star Wars literature, but for a moderate reader I would probably suggest other things. 🪐 Keep on going! As far as I know there is just the one stand alone novel. But there may be more in terms of comic books. I’m not too knowledgeable on those. Of course both would be additional to the KOTOR games.
