Show: Gilmore Girls Character Focus: Luke Hey guys, sorry I've been posting more sporadically, things have been crazy but I'm working on a lot of things I'm really excited for you guys to see.
That scene with Luke saying he had everything packed up to marry Lorelei was one of the worst scenes ever. She, being her weak narcissistic self, ran back to (bluh) Christopher. She deserved him, not Luke. Rotten peas in a rotten pod. If she likes Luke at all, she'd have stopped him at the beginning of his "rant".
I don’t really like that one either but I thought I should include it. It’s a little hard to watch cuz you know it’s coming. But at least in the show the next thing that happens is luke punches Christopher in the face
Oh, please. Luke spent MONTHS using April as an excuse isolate from Lorelai, and put off their wedding. Not to mention that Lorelai was extremely understanding about the fact that Luke put off telling her about April for far too long. She finally had enough, and told him to put up or shut up, and he chose to push her away. She was hurt, and vulnerable, and ran back to her comfort zone, Chris. That wasn't narcissism, that was a rebound.
If Luke had been born south of the Mason-Dixon line or another otherwise sociopolitically conservative area, he would have become a radio talk show host or have his own conservative-leaning political RU-vid channel.
Never liked Luke from the pilot espiode. He was so annoying, a thought know it all who knew nothing. He and Lorelai should never have been a couple, they had absolutely nothing in common. They were so boring, their scenes together were tense and ackward. I will always ship Lorelai and Christopher, they had chemistry, just matched up good together. They should have been end game, not Lying Luke and Lorelai.
