@@sara.delrusso well there is the one Episode where rory Sees "real" food in the house and wonder if they are broke. So maybe they are not tooootally broke like they wanna make believe.
@@sara.delrusso yeah I have to agree i think it is ridiculous to see them always eat out and look the way they do. Their lifestyle doesn't reflect their 'apparent' financial situation.
It would have been nice to see Michelle's partner or a glimpse of his personal life. Luke and Jackson were so involved in the Dragonfly, it always felt like a family business. Michelle kind of missed out on that.
@@pryak6581the reason for that is pretty simple - although Amy Palladino wanted openly gay characters in GG the bigoted TV execs back in the day didn't let it happen. So we had to wait until 'Year in a Life' to see Michel have a boyfriend (and still hating kids ;-)
Well he is obviously gay coded but couldn't have been openly gay on TV 20 years ago, if they would have wanted to show his love life they would have forced him in a straight relationship, I'm glad they didn't

Michele is such a mean person but he is so funny and sookie is so sweet but when she is around him something comes out and it’s hilarious the way they act around each other 🤣❤️
yeah that was definitely immature of her, the dragonfly was at the time was a very new business and she knew that they couldn’t afford serving regular lunch. pregnancy hormones can’t be blamed for something like that
i also despised the fact that she changed michels food to something she "could cook". its disrespectful to change foodwishes, no matter how annoying the other person might be. they want to know what on their plate is and that behaviour of hers was simply mean. no wonder michel can't stand her sometimes🤷♀️
I recently read an interesting thing.. About Melissa McCarthy. I don't think any fan of the series can imagine anyone else playing Sookie. But we could not only not see her in this role, but generally not have such an actress as Melissa McCarthy. The thing is that she made her way into the cinema for a very long time. For about 10 years, she probably was in inconspicuous secondary roles. And then she said that if she didn’t get anything significant before the age of 30 (in terms of roles), she would give up her film career. A week before her 30th birthday, Melissa landed the role of Sookie St. James. As for me, it was this role that opened her to the viewer. And what else can you call it if not fate? She's beautiful as Sookie and generally wonderful in all roles. How glad I am that then everything turned out for her just like that and we have Melissa))
I love Melissa McCarthy in everything she does -- it really was fate that she ended up as Sookie instead of Alex Borstein (what with her Family Guy commitment).
she was awful as a boss as well, yelling at employees all the time and making them work extra just because she was changing her mind about the menu so often...too often, not to mention the money waste that result from that... and remember the episode with LOTR children's party, when she made a menu totally improper for children?
But I don't hate each other they're really very close lol as other people have said they're just like brother and sister let's get on each other's nerves and awful lot well I bet you if one of them got into trouble the other one would immediately leap to to defend I mean for God's sake if we take the actual example of I hate you it was as a result of Suki name Michelle very well with the Destiny's Child conundrum you don't you don't retain that information about someone you hate
Why would you say all these things about fat people like it’s the worst thing that could ever happen to a person when the person you’re talking to is fat. So degrading
