To a certain extent, I feel like vtuber talents are friends out of obligation first and foremost. That said, I respect the hell out of people who take that commitment very seriously. Especially the older talents who reach out when it's not expected.

At the end of the day it is still a work place and friendships in workplace come in various shapes and forms. Everyone looks stiff when you meet people in the early days of workgroup innit, there will always be some distance between people and that is fine. Time, work progression, hardship, rewards, etc. will make people either closer together or more distance. In Hololive folks tend to grow closer, you can sense all parties have the mindsets "I want to do well with everyone, be mindful of others, I could compromise" going in, plus a good environment / tolerance culture, things will become real, relax and natural eventually.

That is the difference between HoloLive and KuroSanji. Holomems are genuinely good girls and guys, and the management fosters that mentality in their company by helping their livers achieve their goals. This in turn makes the other genmems welcome newer gens as part of a growing family, unlike KuroSanji where new livers are seen as competition. The way all of the Holomems treat one another is a direct reflection of the culture of the company. So, Raora being surprised that they are so warm and welcoming is also a genuine feeling of the kindness she feels from the other Holomem generations. Good work, Yagoo, you've fostered great comradery in your livers and that is a direct reflection upon you and your staff of managers and producers and other behind the scenes talent.
