Bro what’s going on with you guys? Been waiting for the FF7 review and it got skipped for two games we already played in beta? What makes Xdefiant more review worthy than Helldivers 2? Dragons Dogma 2? Stellar Blade? Quality is going down with the game reviews no offense.

The quality on this channel has nose dived by the lack of gaming reviews. Only two full game reviews so far into 2024 and its almost June. But there have been lots of reaction videos, movie and tv shows reviews. Look AJ can put out whatever content he wants, its his channel afterall but he is alienating his core fan base.

Alright. So, here's the thing. I've been watching AngryJoe videos for years now, and I'm sure if they look me up specifically, they'll find I've not really watched many of them now for awhile. I have respect for AJ, Alex, and OJ. Your crew has always been excellent, and AJ has been learning since back when he had Delrith as part of the AJ crew to give his people more room to speak, as he used to be real bad at talking over everyone else. This channel has put out some of the best, most honest, and frankly entertaining reviews for video games we've ever seen out of games journalism. AJ's always maintained his integrity when it comes to reviewing games. Sadly, what I came here for, that being the Angry Reviews, have become fewer and fewer in number, and big games that totally deserved his time an attention for a genuinely big review have been skipped over and forgotten, which is a shame. I just think AJ is trying to do way too much...movie reviews, boardgames, tv show reviews, etc.etc. all taking attention away from the thing most of us - not all, but most - came here for. The video game reviews. Both the Rapid like this one, but most importantly, the full Angry Reviews. Just a shame that they seem to be getting pushed to the wayside more and more for other things. So, just wanted to say, I wish AJ, his crew, this channel, continued future success, because at the end of the day I'm just one of many viewers, buuut, I gotta unsub, man. If the focus went back to video games more often, I could stay, but until then, it's cool that I'm not part of that core audience anymore. Good luck with all y'all do, hope to see you go back to a video game focus at some point!

Sounds they spent more time on graphics and cinematic cutscenes, rather then actual gameplay.

Stop killing this channel with movie reviews, put the work in and review some games. I feel like Alex is the only one doing game reviews, on top of AJS News, so what is Joe doing?

Love you guys, but you should consider doing more AJ reviews of the big games of the year, and it doesnt need to be all of them, but a few, just remember Angry reviews are the main reason people tune in for this channel.

Giving Shadow of the Erdtree only a Rapid Fire is crazy, considering what slop and mediocre games AJ was willing to give more attention to.

I like Alex's flow for reviews... gives you a straightforward opinion right up front, then breaks the game down based on gameplay, story etc.

No Dragon's Dogma, FF7 Rebirth, Tekken or Helldivers, but Multiversus and XDefiant for Angry Reviews? Disappointing.

I think I’m going to unsubscribe because they don’t do anymore full game reviews. It’s what made this channel so good. I love these guys, I just don’t like the direction this channel is headed.

XDEFIANT? really that gets an Angry review? a game no one cares about. And then what Multiverses?? Really? what about : Not Dragons dogma 2? Not Final fantasy rebirth? Not Persona 3 Reload? Not Like a Dragon infinite wealth ? Like I get that you can't review every game under the same, but atleast if you are going to give in effort for an angry review, it should be a game people give a shit about.

At this rate, I expect the End-of-year game lists on this channel to be under 15 minutes long - with most of the heavy lifting being done by Alex

As many have pointing out, was hoping for full reviews of Rebirth, Tekken 8, Stellar Blade, Hell Divers 2. While rapid ones are fine, and get the job done, seeing full reviews would be great. Hope they plan on going back in that direction.

I love your guys content but I feel like you guys might be handling too many projects at once. Board games, game news, movie reviews, etc. I watch most of them but maybe it's become too much. I kinda just realized this year has had only 2 angry joe reviews and we already creeping halfway through the year.

Joe, you need to do more game reviews. A game like Hellblade is getting a quick one while Xdefiant and Multiversus is getting angry reviews? This makes no sense, come on. Not to mention the radio silence on FF7R, DD2, Yakuza 8, Avatar, and so on. Is your channel just about gaming news and movie reviews now, with a couple of game reviews here and there?

We need less full length movie reviews and more angry game reviews Joe. Dogma 2 Helldivers 2 and many more that have been missed.

As soon as I saw the first game get a BAFTA, I got the sense that they'd be appealing more to non-gamers to try it as an experience simulator rather than a 'game'.

We're 6 months into 2024 and have gotten 2 Angry Joe game reviews for exclusively bad games that everyone knew was going to be bad. Where are the surprisingly bad games or the surprisingly good games? I commend Alex for picking up the slack the best he can, but you cannot deny that the classic Angry Joe reviews have so much more presentation and energy behind them. But I get that you just lose passion for doing things sometimes. I feel like Joe would benefit greatly from having someone else edit the Angry Reviews so he can focus on every other aspect of it. Just something to revive it

Absolutely fucking criminal to have only a rapid fire review for Shadow the the Erdtree, regardless of the fact it is "just" a DLC, when you played garbage like Suicide squad, Skull n bones, and xDefiant for dozens of hours. Joe is so lazy now, he doesn't want to play any games, disappointing.

So baffling, because the greatest criticisms of the first game were the short length and sparse and uninteresting combat. Even more strange when you consider their DmC game had a great combat system and, despite all the crying about it being an edgy reboot, it was a great game overall. So disappointing that they'd make these two largest areas for improvement even worse.

Wait, Shadow of the Erdtree is a rapid fire? Why? Why arent you OJ and Joe doing a 3 man discussion like Elden Ring? It was Joe's GOTY, he said he understood the appeal and wanted to get more into these games. He made a video on the Joker DLC for KTJL, why not do that for Erdtree, that video set a precedent; Big DLC for a Big game = Big views. This makes no sense. Why is he just throwing views and money away? I DONT UNDERSTAND.

Brother... HB1 had a lot more moves than you realize. Light attack, heavy attack, guard break attack, each in combination with another allowed different combo routes. Then, there were dodge attacks with each button different for every direction. Basically, there was like 12 dodge attacks, with 4 different moves per attack, light, heavy and guard break. So yea, there was a lot more than everybody thinks there was.

I'm following AJ at least 10 years but man this channel became more and more shitty each day, no dragon's dogma no stellar blade no FF7R which is i'm here and support you guys for. I still love your normal reviews but man i don't see them anymore. 7? it was barely a 4/10 game. Bad review. Cuz the water effectws were terrible, graphics arent just realism, there should also be visual creativty which that game has NONE.

Alex summed that up perfectly. I liked all the same stuff and had gripes with the same stuff.

I felt like what I was doing in combat was only 70% me and the other 30% was being handled by the game. It didn't feel like I was 100% in control of what was happening.

The first game had a ton of animations and combos, but they were never mentioned in the game, and I don't know why. There's a huge combo list online.

On you all next Q & A video im going to pay real money so you all have no choice but to read it my question on why you all became so lazy? You all only do rapid fire reviews on mediocre games but skipped THREE good AAA games (Helldivers 2 FF-7-2 and Dragon’s Dogma 2) but do full movie reviews that we dont ask for?.. you all Peaked at 2012-2018.. pretty much now at this point i just play you all videos at background noise to help support the “views”

This game is not a game, 7/10? 🤔 Angry Joe channel is so scared of Xbot backlash that they will rate a piece of shit with a good grade. Even Starfield got a weaker score but the review felt like a 10/10. And Joe actually was surprised after that, because even Xbox owners were more critical of the game than him.

I hate to say it but I think Pyrocynical might be right. This channel is rapidly turning to slop content. There have been multiple big titles released this year so far, and we've only gotten full Angry reviews for like 2 or 3 of them. We get more bloated movie reviews cause they require no effort to make. I'm glad I'm not a RU-vid member of Patreon subscriber, cause those generous people are getting robbed at this point.

I’m sorry you guys gave the order 1886 a 4 out of 10 for the exact same gripes and lack of gameplay experience, and that had more gameplay mechanics in a 5 hour game….. but this get’s a 7 out of 10…. What is the difference between the 2 demos?

I’m all for mental breaks but AJ has seriously gotten lazy. Look at least give us more of these rapid reviews from Alex. Give Alex all the games since he looks to be the true gamer compared to AJ. AJ always says they are not a big company but 3 guys are more than capable of doing these reviews if they all have the editing skills. OJ and Alex can take a game each and the big games can be done by AJ since he wants all the attention. It’s simple but AJ just has gotten so lazy. Does Alex and OJ have side Jobs? How do they survive just with RU-vid?

I had a feeling this was gonna happen when the devs spoke about the game's design in the last major event. Oh well, to the "waiting for it to go on sale" bin it goes.
