Lordy Lordy I feel your hotness! It was 99 degrees with heat index of 109 where I live in Florida today. I was wringing wet when I was working out in the yard today. It made me thank God for our air conditioning. I am so very grateful. I pray for those that are suffering that have no way to cool off. I’m glad that Tommy was able to help you. Helen, it is very peaceful to watch you paint. I think that you should do more paintings; maybe of your flowers and garden and birds. Then you wouldn't have to haul heavy objects in and out of the rain. Brushes aren't heavy at all. You have a very good artistic eye so I am sure that you would paint many wonderful items. Then while you paint you could easily entertain us with your interesting stories. By-the-way, you are doing ok. You didn't call the telephone repair man to fix your lawn tractor. Just don't drive your car if it is leaning to the side!

Helen I loved these and think you are not only clever with cement but your choice of colours. Many years ago I bought two cement mushrooms at a garden fair. They had painted them silver and sprinkled glitter over them. They glisten in the light. This is my favourite project you have shared with us.

Ms Helen,,, please go to the dollar store and buy you a 15.00 box fan and keep it blowing on you while outside.. it really helps. We keep fans going because it's 90 something degrees here in East Texas everyday and we have terrible mosquitoes. I love you and your videos. Please everyone,,, help me ,,, she needs a fan ASAP... Helen, What an awesome project. I like to create things too and this cement really had me thinking of so many things one could do. Thank you so much for sharing. You could almost do a cement project in the house if you mixed up tiny little batches and made things like a tiny little fairy house with little tiny mushrooms and all the things that could go in it and then chat and paint each little piece and be in air-conditioning the whole time. Just don't wash cement down your sink. That would not end well...ha ha Anyway, I"m glad you got your mower fixed. Thank you for such a lovely video. You are such an inspiration to us all. 93 degree is Fall here in East TX. 80’s is Winter!! 😃 Most days this time of year it’s 100 or over and very humid. I run an extension cord to a box fan if I have to do something outside. It’s not blowing cool air unless I put a bowl of ice in front of it but it helps!! Hope you stay cool!

We love that you want to give us new videos..but you need to start doing them inside where you'll be more comfortable when the weather isn't friendly and you can enjoy doing your projects... Great idea using the quick set mortar...I'll have to pick some up...make small batches as you work and as the first mix is setting up..you can work the next mix...even your planters can be done in sets...maybe it won't slide down like the regular cement does... Excellent painting on the daisys you added to the mushroom caps...so cute... We love you Helen and God did wonderful work when he made you and sent you to us...have a blessed weekend...💚🙏💚...🌿🌿🌿

This same thing happened to my father in law just this past week. He just couldn't figure out what was wrong with his lawnmower till I told him he had a flat tire. He & we all had a good laugh. He said it worked better now. LOL

Mrs. Helen…you could make garden gnomes with the quick drying cement. Just use the towers you made…add a nose… glue ( ping pong ball)… and use a sock for the hat. You could use mop strands for hair, too! Just an idea for you. Happy crafting!

I totally understand how much needs to be done when one lives alone. I live alone and have a hard time keeping up with everything I need to do. And this summer have been terrible cause I broke my shoulder and haven’t been able to do what I’v needed to. But there’s a summer next year so I just do it then 😊

Miss Helen. Thx for the video. I love the mushrooms and the flowers on the. Are you going to put some polyurethane on them to protect them. Be careful to stay out of the heat. We had terrible hot weather here in BC and alot of Forrest fires. One town called Lytton burned to the ground. All those people lost everything. The fires came so fast. Our air quality is now some better as the weather is cooler. I got bad sick just after the heatwave and ended up in hospital. I am doing better now thanks to prayers and modern science. It is now starting to feel falling. I am grateful for every day. Take care. Looking forward to more road trips and projects when it is cooler for you to do it.
