Here we test the Rapidrill, which is essentially a mobile drill press that requires no power, unlike a traditional mag drill. The Rapidrill unit works with traditional hand drills, corded or cordless, and helps you to drill precise perpendicular holes on just about any workpiece. Unlike a traditional mag drill, the Rapidrill can also be used on nonferrous materials, such as wooden beams and construction materials. With the ratcheting lever action on the Rapidrill, it's at least 10 times easier to drill a hole versus just trying to drill by hand. The difference is night and day, with the amount of pressure this thing can apply. The light yet extremely strong frame helps for packing the drill around a jobsite, and the included box/carrying case keeps things where they should be. All in all, the Rapidrill is a very versatile machine that makes drilling holes a breeze on any thickness of plate or structural steel.
