The whole things is...BTS have inspired millions of ARMY that anger can be turned into something beautiful. They inspire is in so many instances to walk away from hate and create something positive, like supporting refugee camps, sending books to low income schools, donating to BLM. They also constantly support small business owners when they reveal the designer and suddenly ARMY supports them and sells it out. The rap line ALWAYS deliver the bars. You should dig into some of their solo work too. But next, listen to Ddaeng!

When they do rap they mean it. It is really personal to them so it is in their mother tongue with a touch of English, as an honor to the birthplace of hip-hop (and of course global auditorium).

I recommend "Ugh explained by a Korean " by DKDKTV to really understand due to Korean sayings puns etc...It is in English 💜💜💜Some of their songs are more complex than others...For instance those words that sound likejust sounds tuk tuk poook pook actually have a meaning ...PS you don't need captions for lyric videos it has it in english ...But sometimes just knowing the lyrics is not enough ..This song is about how people waste anger on small bullshit when it could be put to good use in some instances like a Protest

Loved you rapping at the end. One of their hardest hitting most meaningful tracks. A literal trieste on the nature of anger and hatred. How we waste anger in online hate at things like BTS who is above it all and doesn’t care, and attacking and harming others. The ultimate hype anti cyber bullying song because we are diluting anger needed for things like changing the injustice in the world. Too many Koreans especially kpop idols have died by suicide due to cyber bullying. This song is one of the most important they’ve written for me. BTS often tackles social issues in hype songs, it’s a signature of them although sometimes it’s hard to know without some clues. My favorites are Baepsae and Am I wrong for this.

I don't know if you've already listened to it, but they have a song name hip hop lover/ hip hop phile (I've seen both used), where they talk about their inspirations and roots in hip hop, I would suggest to you to react/ listen to it, it's an amazing work of art that gives homage to the OG's

Hey, I suggest you take a look at DDAENG, and if you want to understand better, I recommend you to watch the explanation video. If you want solo songs, maybe August D-Daechwita and RM-Joke to start with. But I'd love to see you get to know everyone at BTS as well! Maybe you would be interested in introduction videos? There are some of them, but if you want, maybe This is BTS by xCeleste and An introduction to the 7 members of BTS by Ida S.

Ugh! Is a commentary about how society and social media have taken the purpose of anger and diluted it. Anger should be used to change the world. For example, the civil rights movement in America came about bc people were angry with being discriminated against. They used that anger to make a positive change in the world. Today, with social media, people throw anger around just to be heard, for clicks. Now, anger is overused.

you’d get Wale and RM ‘change’ in English (pls react!) but most bts members just know English phrases, not fluent. Written in Korean never translatable as something they could perform.. with all the doubles and meaning y’know? Yo dude, just dropping in to say that you don't need the disclaimer at the front of this video - in fact if someone does come at you they could potentially use it as admission of guilt, like you know you're using copyrighted materials. It would be nice to have this guy's rap, write in English.. But they are Koreans, they rap, think in Korean, their references are Korean culture, but even translated you can get the talent in writing. RM raps in English, on somethings, if he sits down and writes, I don't think he freestyles in English. And Suga and JHope don't (not yet, maybe not ever)

Sorry bur BTS rapline are real rappers unlike Blackpink who dont write their songs let alone their verses and their flows. They cannot be compared to BTS rapline who understands and respects hiphop. Blackpink dont have any clue what hiphop is. Check out their Rolling Stone interview those models dont know anything about hiphop.
