Rappers React To Ren "Kujo Beat Down"!!! 

I feel like this song isn't just a warning to Kujo and his girl, but to anyone who might think they can take advantage of his kindness and generosity. Ren IS a good guy. He does have a big heart, but don't mistake his kindness for weakness. He'll do anything to work things out with you, but he ain't going to be anybody's doormat. So, don't get it twisted.

Kujo not just messed with Ren but messed with the song that Ren is most proud of and his most personal work. And Kujo didn't even sell him a legal beat as it contained an unlicensed sample. This beatdown was tremendous. We stand with Ren.

What hasn't been talked about until Knox Hill spoke on it is that Kujo also claims writing credits on Ren's shit even though he had no involvement in it.

Kujo's gf wasn't just posting bad things about Ren (although she was doing that too). She actually forged fake contract documents and tried to present them as if they were the real ones, as well as a bunch of other shady shit in their attempt to extort Ren. But, yeah, as you said, Kujo F'd up. I mean, can you imagine saying no to an offer to collab with Ren and split the profits 50/50? Kujo was so focused on stealing the bag he didn't earn from one song that he fumbled the bigger bag. He could've been one of those boats rising on the Ren tide, but instead his short-sighted greed shot a hole in the bottom of his own boat. Such a dumb move. And now he's going to get nothing anyway because Ren's redoing "Sick Boi" with his own beat and production (and sure as hell won't work with him in the future). As you said, the Ren fans are riding with Ren and not with Kujo but, really, Kujo doesn't care about that. 99.9% of Ren's fans weren't buying Kujo's beats to begin with, so he's not losing money there. And if people post angry comments all over his socials, Kujo just reaps the rewards of all the engagement, keeps his name alive, and rides those coattails a little longer. In hip-hop, as you know, fame thrives on beef. BUT, on the other hand, if enough people throw a spotlight on Kujo's shadiness, maybe musicians who do buy beats will think twice before buying one of his. I mean, why would you buy a Kujo beat at this point? He just proved that he'll sell a beat without clearing the samples, and then, after you get copyright strikes, he'll try to hold your track hostage and extort money from you. It's not worth risking doing any kind of business with Kujo. There are a million other producers making beats out there, and plenty of them don't have a reputation for stealing samples and F-ing over the artists they work with. Tbh, the best thing both Ren fans and artists can do at this point is warn other artists about what Kujo did but, otherwise, just ignore him completely. Let his career die quietly of his self-inflicted wound.

Artists and the reaction community can be a positive cycle that grows each other. I found Ren from a reaction, then he released this piece of art that I can't get enough of, that has SO MUCH symbolism packed into it I can't possibly catch it all and I dive down the rabbit hole and find several new reactors, some of whom have already introduced me to new artists when I saw a shiny link or thumbnail and took a break from the Ren rabbit hole

Artistic license/expression. He really just got his anger out in a healthy way. He warned people in the video he made, after Sick Boi was taken down, that this was his 'angry' song. I don't think some people realize even the sweetest of cats can turn into lions when need be. The video may be shocking to some, and maybe it is for his music, I guess I've just seen enough that not much shocks me 😁
