Tame Impala is a pretty fantastic band. Pretty much every song off the first three records are amazing.....and honestly almost everything on the fourth as well. Another fun fact is that every album is produced, written and played by one guy by the name of Kevin Parker.
I love how he was like “the undiscovered gems” Tame started headlining festivals in 2017/18. He headlined Coachella 2018. Glad you enjoyed it though. Literally check out any of the songs
This album and MGMT's Oracular Spectacular were the albums I always jammed when tripping on LSD with friends lol. Good times, but I'm too old for that stuff now.
I had my Tame Impala obsession a couple years back. I liked “The Less I Know The Better” and “Borderline”. Chill vibe but what’s cool is this is just one dude doing it all-an Aussie, Kevin Parker. Great suggestion!
Fun, funky grooves. Tame Impala is the musical pseudonym/project of guy named Kevin Parker. He's amazing. Check out "The Less I Know The Better" or "Elephant". He's definitely a "Lost in the Sauce" kind of musician.
Cool! Sort of reminds me of Black Moth Super Rainbow, a not-too-well-known Pittsburgh band (well it’s mainly a guy named Tobacco and a revolving cast of characters)… love them ❤️
A new song you might want to check out is the new Gorillaz/Tame Impala song " New Gold". I can't stop playing it, especially after going to the concert in Vancouver on Sept 11th.
Tame Impala has been WORLD famous for well over a decade. Kevin Parker (who IS Tame Impala), like Mikael Ackerfeldt of Opeth and Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree, are three dudes who would have been right at home with Beethoven and Mozart.....all three if them are THAT musically talented. Cool to see you guys react to this.
I feel like this song isn't about a relationship, I feel like it's about his first few times dropping molly, but that's just me. I listened to this on molly and it makes so much sense. When you're on Molly, everything feels amazing and new, like you're getting to experience sensations as though it were the first time, and that you know others think it might be wrong to use drugs, but how can using molly be a bad thing when it makes you feel so good and connected intrinsically to the very fabric of the world, but that's just my opinion. lol. Great reaction, guys!
I was listening to my chamber of reaction station on pandora this song came on . I stopped working searched it saved it on RU-vid. I went home connected my phone to the Bluetooth speaker and blasted with a beer in my hand dancing.
'Lonerism' (the one before 'Currents' that this is from) is the best album of all time. Kevin is a stone cold genius. 'Keep on Lying' is a masterpiece, so many things to find in it.
If you like Tame impala/ Kevin Parker you have to check out “Pond”. They were the backing back for Tame Impala and their music is just as good. I’d recommend 30,000 Megatons or Sweep me off My feet off their album “The Weather”.
Amazing reaction guys! Tame Impala is actually one guy: Kevin Parker. He does literally everything. He has already produced to Lady Gaga, Ye, Travis, Mark Ronson, The Weeknd and others! You should react to moreee Tame Impala ✌🏻
weird suggestion but listen to passionflower by jon gomm and the music video so you can see visually how he uses the whole guitar to make magic, drums on the guitar, sings, turns the knobs at the top of the guitar to change the pitch of the note you wont regret it
Should check out some OG Tame Impala like "Half Full Glass Of Wine". The fan base is pritty divided between old and new Tame Impala. Its all great stuff but my heart belongs to there Phyc Rock roots.
I'm so glad you reacted to this, just discovering the artist myself. As for the name wondering if it's his tribute to classic rock bands with names like Le(a)d Zeppelin or Iron Butterfly: the juxtaposition of opposites. Nothing is more skittish and un-tamable than an Impala. A few suggestions: Half Full Glass of Wine, and Feels Like We Only Goes Backwards.
Please check out Let it Happen by tame impala. Same vibe kinda but intense at the same time. I’ve just discovered this band recently as well and I’m in ❤
Tame impala isn’t a band, it’s all one dude, but since it’s a lot of instruments in his songs when he’s on tour he has people play the instruments in his song
@@slevin6544 started to call it indie rock but I'm sure there's a difference. I'm more into death and black metal mostly. But I do enjoy this kind of music. It doesn't sound like the regurgitated mainstream shit.
