Bruh, you're the best reactor on yt imo. Always good rap, good presence,, you always good breakdowns, and involved in the culture. You deserve some serious sponsorship my dude.

When it comes to influence of style, I hear 90% Eminem of SSLP/MMLP era, 9% other shit, and maaaaybe 1% Pac. 🤔 I dont see where you get Pac from, besides *visually* being shirtless and having a bandana wrapped around his forehead all the time.😂
Not really, he loves pac but he has more influences from Big L after Eminem, he said once he sometimes listens to Big L before he makes a new song for inspiration. Id say Hopsin is a mix of slim shady and Big L...
you wanta see a whole family tree action? you can hear eminem in hopsin, and then you can hear hopsin in AK. AK aint really made it yet but odds are you know if you're watching rap reactions. I can't get over the "first, second, and third gen stan" vibe
@@Prolificx it doesnt make it invalid. But it also doesnt make him more special than anyone else. He can rap, but he's quite lyrically overrated. He does nothing lyrically that others cant. Now come with the cookie cutter responses
Eminem doesn't belong in hip hop? Yet this man literally inspired Kdot and J Cole and hopsin...logic...Joyner lucas...the list goes on ...EM has helped keep lyricism alive not just with his music but with these other great lyricists
The fact of the matter is that it is tough being on top. You’re a target when you’re on top. Everyone takes a shot at the guy on top because they wanna be that guy on top. The nature of this kind of game is exactly this.
After 8 miles success he was asked exactly that.. That now he has a big success with album n movie, does he have the edge left since now he has everything n can't complain being poor etc.. And he said "I have my ammos but when you're on top there will always be ppl tryna take shots at u and I have my ammos for that to deal with so I don't think I have lost my edge but the day I do and run out of my ammos I will put down the mic. But I don't think I will run out of ammos anytime soon."
Young MA said something along the line of wanting to change her verse when she heard Em’s verse but Em told her not to because he wanted her to be her authentic self and go with her first instinct. (I’m paraphrasing)
If Em shaved and went Shady with a corporate cd he would go platnum easy. He isn't in it for 💰 anymore. He writing books and the haters are making tic toks....
The reason why rappers stop is because their style of music isn't as popular and it won't sell as well. Same is true for eminem but he started from such a high ceiling that when he drops off he still breaks records. He doesn't benefit from touring or doing interviews and such anymore because everyone in the world who would consume his music knows who he is. If he just went back to slim shady days he wouldn't do better because that formula doesn't work anymore. He is constantly trying to adapt is sound to match this era while keeping his roots of lyrics and setting a standard for what it means to be the best.
Eminem's hate is different though, his hate is either jealousy for him getting attention at almost 50 or his race, it's not because he's cocky or disrespectful to the legends, and his main hate is that nobody listens to him or his rapping suck and that's why it seems odd
I just checked on the last 10 videos he made and there isn’t one that had under 50 million views. People are still listen to him. He has the most subscribers than Drake on Spotify. He took him over a few weeks ago.
I respect Joyner for doing that. Its one of the reason why I like him. I think some rappers nowadays clout chase Em. I think Fat Joe said something in an interview recently about how clout chasing is temporary. Joyner is going for longevity based on his talent.
EXACTLY WHY I HAVE NO TWITTER!!!!!!!!!!! I do need “ likes & followers” .......there were 5 people for me in my breakdown and flooded house when I lost EVERYTHING AND WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE FLOOD INSURANCE.....ALSO WHEN I GOT CANCER AND WAS TOO PRIVATE.....I DONT NEED SOCIAL MEDIA......I HAVE A PHONE
"I inspired the Hopsins, the Logics, the Coles the, Seans the, K Dots the, 5'9's and oh, brought the world 50 Cent, you can squat piss and moan, but I'm not gonna fall..."
WAT UP WAT UP WAT UP!!!!!!! - I finally joined THE PATREON FAMILY my guy!! Can't wait to sit back and watch you do what you do the best on You Tube. The Bar-break-down KING!! 🔥🔥 I've been riding with you since like 30K, you have grown so fast because we appreciate all the hard work you put into this shit. Thanks man for all you do.
Lol he is not a Stan, he just fucks with Em and respects him. Same with me. Em is not my favorite rapper but I respect the hell out of him and he can most definitely put rap several elite rappers or all the elite rappers in my opinion, but he isn’t my favorite. A Stan is in love with Em and chooses to Em over everything. That’s what I think a Stan is and Stevie is not that.
I just joined your patreon! ngl didnt think I'd ever join anyones patreon didnt seem worth it haha, but love your videos, and always want more! Respect your balanced view on things, and love for BARS!
You crack me up bro. I'd love to hang, have a few drinks, and jam some old school rap / hip hop, or any other music with you. You really listen to everything as a whole, and you're smart about how you pick apart what you're watching, whether it's a song, or a video like this. I find myself agreeing with you most of the time. Either way, really love the channel. Peace!
I heard Trech wants to do an album with Em... he wants to work on his first solo album and wants Em on it in some way, producer, featuring or something... that would be an amazing project and one that I can confidently say will be coming because Em really loves Trech, he’s always put him as one of his top 5 rappers of all time
Yo stevie, keep up the grind homie, one of the best channels rn for sure. Also you gotta check out Eminem - Offended, bar heavy song that'll give you a headache! 🔥
Was writing a song while I listened! And, Do you see that guy talking bout hate in the dark? and the other guy talking about lyrics and stuff with the Sunshine on him? Yeah, I see that. Great job as always. Keep up the good work. Much love and appreciation. Kimmy D.
Young MA put Em in her top 5 at some radio show i think 2 years prior to the mtmb collab Btw there is a video on youtube of redman interviwing young ma on her 90s hiphop knowledge and she really is a student of the gamr
Why people hate Em is beyond me... How people say they can't relate to his music is beyond me.... Guys like Jamar and Chalamagne hear him they don't listen
It's just jealousy of his massive influence he has over the entire world.. He's the only rapper who gets insane amount of crowds at concerts and he's in his late 40s after him u have drake that gets large crowds
Huh??? Hopsin is a “casual fan??” Bro, Hopsin is basically Eminem 2.0. He is a superduper fan. He even raps like Eminem from the early times. The only reason he says this is because his entire circle of friends consists of Eminem fans. So noone around him hates on him.
Yes, but like he Stevie said those are fans not actual stans.. they are fans of Em like him and his music consider him a goat, but doubt they casually search for anything new on em unless its brought up or involves them. Hop is a big fan but also don't think Hop has had much time to keep up with whats going on with Em due to what Hop has been dealing with mentally and emotionally. So anything that he hears about Em recently is due to it being brought up in music or when it goes viral.
We are all born beautiful. Hate makes you ugly. Nobody likes ugly people. Also - Stevie is not wrong - the Patreon really IS lit. I was pissed when I saw how much I was missing out on. Not promoting, just sayin'. 🤷
I say this with the upmost respect for everyone to head off any hate felt towards this comment. EM just started dropping new music with no promotions and it rose right to the top. I don’t believe he did it for this purpose but the topics being talked about mostly are about racial issues. when EM first dropped he fought through the racial hatred in the hip hop culture that didn’t want to accept him and still he rose to the top. I think there’s a lot of rappers out there who felt some type of way about it still and if there was a time to express that opinion that time is now. On another note I think Eminem just brings controversy with everything he does period. he always did and always will. this is the controversy alive at the time. racial tension are high we very well know that. when you have those of importance who blurred those predisposed lines it’s gonna be talked about. even if it’s not talked about racially realistically it’s in the back of peoples minds . Then you got big names (snoop) makin racial comments. After that it all just exploded. MJK too I forgot about that. Not racially but maybe that was the opener. I’m sorry if my opinion offends anyone. I’m still gonna speak it! I’m not racist and I feel no hatred.this opinion is based solely on my perspective of this situation specifically.
Snoop is a member of the Nation of Islam for the past 10 years. NOI theology involves black separatism, antisemitism, anti-LGBT rhetoric, black nationalism, and of having promoted black supremacist beliefs in the past. The Southern Poverty Law Center tracks the NOI as a hate group which, it claims, teaches a "theology of innate black superiority over whites".
Yo Stevie, I rock the EVR hoodie and love it. If you start offering a “Premium” merch line, like with heavier material n shit, feel me? I’d cop some more gear quick bro. I’d be willing to pay the extra cost, I believe other hip hop heads would too. I need one of the Bars hoodies
I don’t agree at all with Hopsins.. They literally did a Clubhouse where they were talking about canceling him and dropping him out of the rap game. Name me another rapper that had this happen to him
and only because he’s white and considered one of the best by a lot. But those dudes were next level ignorant and I’m annoyed Royce didn’t say much when that racist shit was being thrown out. But then again Royce has said himself if it wasn’t for Em he would hate white people so I’m sure he has some internal racism himself
There is actually a video where you see her response to the Eminem verse and her own in her house. And when em starts to rap she legit says yo Eminem is on another level u can’t compete with that. U can like see her thinking “wish I could rap like that”
Yo your outlook from many different sides is clutch!! Good work man! Keep doing what you do an keep up the work! Have you checked out Larry bird by Adam Calhoun
Em speaks on people who think he isnt shit. But thats what fuels him! At the same time he never forgets to shout the millions..AND MILLIONS who love him!
I would love to hear somebody make a legit argument against Em's factual longevity , commercial success and pen game. How is he not top 3 all time. Edit: i also dont know what Hopsin is talking about, I saw the Em hate everywhere before he made Kamikaze and all that. Simply wait until he drops a big music video, go to newest comments and observe the endless swaths of hate comments that come in. People think Em's only talking about critics, but he really reads comments on his songs too like he has said.
Everyone has a different music taste you don't have to put Eminem in your top x list. But to say he is bad and doesn't influence hip hop is just wrong just look at how many rappers put him in their top x list and are influenced by him.
em is like the top boss in a rap battle, he's a fkn genius....english is not my native language, so coming to understand eminem took a lot of rap listening, you have to go through a lot of subliminal messages and means to understand the lyrical wordsmith eminem is, started at 12 looking up tupac lyrics, because he just touches your heart, especialy if you're going through something, then went to nas, krs-one, rakim, busta rhymes, big, pun, etc...you learn to appreciate the craft through their dedication and hard work, em will always be one and only, the legend
I think Hopsins video was from awhile ago... in the comments they were talking about revival, so tho could have been before the clubhouse incident at least
As far as Young MA, he probably wanted to showcase her style and work with her because he respects her hustle and different musical style, as well as show the world what he is influenced by. I like seeing him and Corde, and Jack Harlow. Not to mention Logic, and Joyner.
Most of the legends and greats and current greats speak about Em in a really positive manner and show appreciation for his work. And since they influence so many and people like them so much, how come they disregard their opinion of Eminem so easily?
Lyrics are why I listen to rap music to this day. It has been for 28 yrs since I was 14. I literally bought tapes just bc they had the 'Parental Advisory' stamp on them. Real shit. I'd save my little change I made back then and just dump it on random artists tapes. Which is why I can't F with today's music.
@@Santawithhishoes if you listen to rap and don't like lyrics then you like pop music, and have no appreciation for the game of rap, thus your opinion is invalid.
*Marshall Mathers* smart marketing uses his personality to attract those who focus on that rather than words, then has *Slim Shady* for shock value & *Eminem* the Lyricist
I have noticed those people that have a problem with Em for whatever reason are typically either nobodies (random idiots discrediting his music that they never even listened to in the first place), failed rappers/low level artists that are jealous because they can't do what he does, and probably the most common are those looking for exposure by creating drama in hopes to take advantage of his name. He is praised time and time again by many of the legends of hiphop so that really tells ya everything you need to know. Snoop can do without him but he hangs out with Martha Stewart one minute, then next time you see him he's throwing up gang signs acting all hard. He's a walking contradiction basically.
