Queen Latifah is probably the GOAT. Her Hollywood accolades are well deserved (she was robbed of that Oscar) and no one, besides perhaps Donald has the range. Put her in a drama, comedy, thriller, romance, musical, animation, whatever; she’ll kill it.
@@_FLWRS idk it just let me maybe bc im on my phone or smth but glover has done a lot in rewatching Atlanta rn probably my favorite show oat, and his music great too
looking forward for pt 2. btw I believe Glover is Actor first than rapper by a bit. recommend checking his old comedy sketches on youtube btw derrickcomedy
I’m rooting for Vince staples and I loved the Vince Staples show he had me cracking up, but I still feel like he’s playing himself in every role I see. that’s not necessarily a bad thing cuz his blunt and honest nature is funny and entertaining but I wouldn’t put him in the highest tier I would want to see more from him and see him playing different roles
I agree with the list. I actually didn't know the guy from Abbott elementary was a rapper but he doesn't do a great role in it. He's genuinely convincing but I would also agree with Donald Glover being oscar-worthy just from his performance in Mr. And Mrs. Smith. And like you said his range is so good that honestly you really can just give him an Oscar and I don't even think people would be mad about it
For those talking about Donald being a writer/actor fist I would disagree. Mainly because Donald was making music ALL the time he was writing for 30 Rock or acting on Community. So if anything he’s just an overall artist lol.
Do mr and mrs smith I watched it. It was good but not great but if Donald gets more roles he could be a big household actor. He blends comedy and drama so well.
The best rappers turned actors (Donald Glover doesn’t count cause he’s the opposite) are Will Smith, Queen Latifah, and Kano but the Weeknd has the most potential of anyone on here and actually acted very well in the Idol despite a shit script, I’m very interested in seeing how he does in this new film he’s in with Barry Keoghan and Jenna Ortega directed by Trey Edward Shultz because that will be a good movie and we can gauge how good an actor he is from that more so than what he got in the Idol
OMG OMG OMG! I have watched this video on RU-vid with G SMOKE 🐐🚬0⃣3⃣😜 and Black Peter Griffin and it was awesome! I love Donald Glover, Ice Cube, The Weeknd and Eminem! I also love Community and Atlanta the two shows Donald Glover starred in! Eminem would've been on top! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐
I loved Donald’s stand up it doesn’t not still hold up to this day unfortunately the jokes don’t hit the same at 28 with a sense of self respect at 14 not giving a fuck mos def was gold but I agree with all the placements on this list bro especially The Weeknd let’s just get the next album he could’ve kept that idol bullshit best actor def goes to Will Smith or Queen Latifah
