There's a video out showing how to bypass limiter on a 2018 Raptor and the guy does the same thing as this guy pretty much but in a better way. So if it works on a 2018 should it work on a 2020?
If you have a optimizer do you need to do this? stock bike when I got it hit 72 mph and with hmf slip on pipe, K&N filter, optimizer, I hit 77 mph and I did this today see if I hit more lol I was curious and I hit 83 mph 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
@@Rvega559 that's really good, I'm getting the Big 3 package from monster, FCI, PCV and shorty to be exact and I weigh 155, I've hit 79 stock so I'm hyped about how much speed it'll gain
Hello there my name is Hugh from Ireland what years from to will the speed limiter bypass work on Yamaha raptor 700 ? And with that done how many extra mph should it gain and do you still need to clutch when changing gears with this mod done. Thanks Hugh
So I replaced my stock bars and clutch lever on my 2019 raptor 700 is it bad if I just tuck it away or should I try and rig something so it works with the aftermarket clutch lever.
You can not tune it by hand. You need a power commander. It is fuel injected not carbureted. You can adjust the idle but if you're trying to do actual tuning you need a EFI controller
Hi man I was wondering if you can help me I have a Taiwan made atv it has a 150cc engine I was thinking about power mods but I don’t know anything to put in it I though about a exhaust but there is no one that makes exhaust for these so if you can help me that will be greatly appreciated
Unfortunately there isn't much you can do for more power really. There's only so much power you can squeeze out of an air cooled 150cc engine. Might try and remove some baffling in the exhaust? That might open it up some, good luck!
Yes this is a clutch button and no it’s not a speed whatever limiter. It simply allows you to start your four wheeler in or out of nuetral without needing to find neutral in the trans. So let’s say you upgrade from stock to some pro tapers with a single clutch cable like I did and you buy a clutch reverse bypass switch. Boom just got rid of that second clutch cable. It’s funny you can clearly tell this guy has no idear what he’s talking about
Hi there I have a raptor 700r 2006 and have a issue with it .the like previously had a 12t front and 38t back sprocket although I changed the front sprocket to a 15t .the bike was running good although I experienced a problem with the bike loosing rev at high speed so I adjusted the tps sensor and the bike came right although when the bike had its previous 12 and 38 set up the speed topped out at around the high 30s around 130. Now with a bigger front sprocket I'd expect to have more speed although now the bike stops at around 114km/h .I've removed the clutch sensor to bypass the top speed limiter although the bike still stops at around 114.The bike has a set of 22s in the back Just to refresh the problem When I had 12t and 38t sprockets and a 21inch tire the quad topped out at 130 above When I added a 15t front sprocket and 22inch tires the bike tops out at 114 The only thing I did in between was set the tps sensor back to specifications of 0.68 as it was on 0.77 and with full throttle around 4.10 Any ideas why my top end is so low
