In 1967 I lived in Boston, and I missed him. I was never widely advertised. Now I Have to find out that I was so near his concert. What a belated disappointment. So Sorry.
Amazing how when I was growing up and discovering great music, singers such as Corelli, del Monaco, Cosutta, Vickers, Bergonzi, , Kraus and a young Pavarotti and Domingo we took for granted as representative of operatic tenors. Little did we know that the high standard of these artists and dozens of others would become almost extinct within our lifetime.
