RARE MOPAR BARN FINDS sitting in Missouri!

I had no idea what I was in for. The owners of these cars had just told me, that they "had some cars". This was just the first barn finds! He had cars scattered across multiple properties, which I will go through in this series of videos. Here alone was two (originally) Six Pack Dodge Chargers, two 1969 Dodge Superbees! A real 1969 1/2 A12 Six Pack Superbee! And this was just the beginning!
The owners told me that everything was for sale, for the right price. They deal in Mopars mostly, and know what the stuff is worth. If you have an interest in a car, at a reasonable price. Drop me a line here (TheAutoArchaeologist@yahoo.com)

But you have some exotic cars there in 🌏🦘. The irony is that I drive right through Missouri on way to other states. Missouri is known as a Rust belt state. After all the trips I've done through the state to get to somewhere else I probably have been within an hour of this location. I'm not saying I know where it's at just that time your time to cross through that steak he get to someplace else. Now I have bought a number of vehicles in that state and other rust states usually for mechanical donations to other projects. For what that is all worth. I'm glad that our host found the stash.

I wish I had the cars we used for parts back then ...last one I restored was a 1971 Plymouth road runner 383 auto on the coloum fc7 plum crazy purple white interior, white strobe stripe and half white vinyl top with 6 way driver's seat no console bucket seats a/c 383 on hood with tank track stripes and impact strips on the bumpers.....

@@ronaldmoparornocar9590 You're 100% right. I remember about 30 years ago, finding a 72 challenger 318/auto with buckets and a console. Complete running driving and rust free. It was probably a 8-9 out of 10. Nice paint and interior. But it was green on green and nobody wanted it. Sitting next to a mechanics shop, the guy said he was asking $600 for it. Never find them like that again.

wow. I was born in 1962 and have been a MoPar guy my entire life. This stuff is getting impossible to find. In the late 70's junkyards were full of six pack cars as they were prone to engine fires. Having restored a "B" and "E" body the common tire kicker types have no idea the expense required to restore one of these cars.

I’ve owned so many Mopars over the years but I have no interest in restoring anymore not to mention most guys want $20K or more and then you get to start your $100K restoration. Just not worth it these days with the younger generation being more into rice rockets and euro stuff.

The guy has a nice collection. Glad that most of them are in a barn. Were those side scoops on the Super Bee and Cornet R/T rare options? Doesn't seem like you see many with those. Always had soft spot for Cornet and Super Bee's when I was a kid my Uncle had a B5 Blue 1969 Cornet R/T, had the 440 4 barrel and bucket seats center console automatic with 3.91 rear gears. Had a black vinyl top with a black R/T stripe with Magnum 500 wheels. It was a fairly well optioned car. Had power steering and power brakes and a AM/ 8 track player and rear window defroster. Wish I would have been old enough to buy it when he sold it.

@ronaldmoparornocar9590
@ronaldmoparornocar9590 Год назад
Technically F6 is a different color it is ivy green 1969 1/2 was code 99 have an old PPG paint color/code book and RALLEY GREEN chip has code "99" below it in the Plymouth section and the Dodge paint chip page shows it as f6 (69 1/2 only code 99 spring special) in notations. Bought the books from the dodge dealer when they got sold to another dealer also picked up an old sunen scope from them used back then to check the health of engine and alternator, distributor,coil,voltage regulator and ballast resistor oscilloscope and could shut down each cylinder and air fuel vacuum to set up carbs still works to this day.....I use it to check and tune freinds car's and some word of mouth people from freinds that can't figure out their car's ignition/charging system..... Don't do it for everyone make a little for my time and my project...... putting a 6.2 hellcat drive train in a 2000 dodge Dakota r/t ... going to be my final build.....I won't be first to do it....but when the hellcat first came out in 2015 I told all my friends at the time I want to put that in my Dakota..... they told me I'll never be able to do it.... just had to be patient and let some get smashed up and get a drivetrain donor...🙏😈... and I am painting the truck "99" ralley green with white call-outs black interior..... Just be my local car show piece....I ain't getting any younger!

Shit like this is why younger guys like me won’t ever be able to afford a classic Mopar. The reason my generation gravitates towards other cars isn’t because they don’t love American Iron. It’s because it’s totally unattainable

Wow you have done it again. Congratulations. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm assuming that these cars are videoed awhile back. If anything's for sale I do have somebody who is legitimately interested particular type of car. Especially if it is without a drivetrain and there's no matching drivetrain. Also I'm going to go look at a couple of early 70s challengers. They are incomplete. You know I'm not the biggest Mopar fan but those have been on my bucket list for a long time. Any tips a warning about what to look for in specific areas of the car would be greatly appreciated. There's some other mopars there and a couple other places relatively nearby to where I'm speaking of. Yep I'm willing to share. Fantastic find and great introduction to the collection.

If it makes you feel any better the limestone rock beneath it ought to keep the car's relatively dry as well as the nice building. Why put water on these cars just finished making rest more when they setting? So why wash them? But the other part of me does agree. Sell them. And spread the wealth of this collection. But there's so many people out there who don't want to buy these cars. They just had to hand out like a beggar at the intersection.
