Rare Revealed: Five Things You Didn't Know About Viva Piñata 

Come on, make Viva Pinata 3! I'd love to see more pinatas, and more scenery. It would also be cool to see more interactivity, like giving Pinatas jobs. You could use Horstachios as seed balers, Barkbarks as night watchers, Profitimoles as miners, and Pudgeons as messengers. It would also be neat to see a big world to explore. While still having the options to quickly gain access to the other shops, it would be neat to be able to leave your garden and explore the Pinata Island. You could physically explore the village and store buildings, go out in the wild and discover new Pinatas, gather resources, and more. It would also be neat to be able to bring a Pinata companion along with you, to either help find stuff, and to unlock new areas. Imagine there's an item high up in a tree, you could bring along a pinata like a Squazil to climb up the tree and retrieve it for you. I would definitely buy a game like this for Xbox One. It could be called something like Viva Pinata World.

We NEED number 3, there is so much potential for this series, especially with today's hardware. with 2020 being a very "Eventful" year, A new Viva Pinata game would be a very welcome bit of news.

It was so heartbreaking to see that some of the devs forgot how the pinata sounds went and such. This game is a amazing. Both of them. It was a HUGE hit, there was even a TV show! Come on, Rare and Microsoft! Please, please make a third game. It would be so amazing and my younger siblings love Viva Pinata and this could be one they play. If anybody from Rare or Microsoft read this, please encourage a Viva Pinata 3.

If they made another Viva Pinata I'd buy an xbox one, no questions asked. I'd loooove underwater pinatas, or at least a few fish. Maybe they could flop around in one place getting sadder and sadder if you didn't provide water for them or something! Technology is sooooo good right now, you guys could do so many things! This game means the world to me! I still play it today. My current save file has over 500 hours. I would cry of happiness for daaays if you ever made a third game. Since you guys talked about voices, I just remembered being 7-8 and running around the school yard pretending to be pinatas by imitating their voices. It drove my mom crazy!

Please make our dreams come true. PLEASE continue this series. It has SO MUCH potential. It's been a decade and we want more. Trouble in Paradise improved on all the concepts of the original game. You can do it again!

I've probably spent more than half of my life in this game series. Was the first game I played back in 2007, I was six years old and fell in love with it.(like, really A LOT of time invested in my 120 something gardens) Now I'm fifteen and I'm still playing it. especially Trouble in paradise. I've been playing these games on/off since like 2007 lol. TiP is up there as quite possibly my favorite game of all time and this is coming from a guy who mostly plays violent games like Mortal Kombat or Battlefield. If at all possible, can we please get another sequel to this? This is one of the best games on the Xbox 360 and I'd love to see a new game in the franchise. Also with all of these new (or forgotten) ideas for pinatas things wouldn't feel dull or repetitive.

Idea Dump for Viva Pinata 3: - Maybe after you make your first garden, you could choose a default garden (ocean garden, forest garden, swamp garden, field garden, etc.) & attract different pinatas that way. You could keep multiple gardens at once in different biomes on one file, and as your garden expands, you would get another biome space, and that biome space would eventually expand as well? - Different biome pinatas could have different styled romance mini games (common pinatas could have default/classic, and the more exotic pinatas could have an arcade style mini game). - pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeepleasepleaseplease make a worker that fertilizes your plants for you 🙏 this would be helpful BEYOND belief - more Leafos dialogue, anyone? "Wow! A new gardener! It feels like it's been decades!" - Rare alien pinatas? (A ufo visits your garden and asks if it can stay... Worth 1-1000000 Choco coins)

Leave it to Rare to make Toys-To-Life long before Skylanders or Amiibos.

It's been years, but I STILL play this game and I LOVE it! They should make more now for the next generation platforms.

Viva pinata was my life from 4 years old. My dad got an Xbox with call of duty and other adult stuff but never played any of it, viva pinata came with the Xbox and I remember my mum telling me the controls. I spent more than years on that game alone, I begged to get trouble in paradise as we'll, honestly it's the only game that I play on the Xbox because it's my childhood. This game meant so much to me as child. Even now, over 10 years later, I think about this game and I know how much I would cry and scream if it ever got a sequel. It's such a beautiful and unique game, I wish it was more popular.

When most people talk about post-Microsoft Rare, they ususaly refer to Nuts & Bolt and the Kinect games, which are OK games in their own right, but I think Viva Pinata and/or it's sequel is Rare's last original masterpiece, and it's unfortunate that it didn't sell too well.

I wish this game could get more attention, it would be amazing... The game is so charming! It would amazing to see water piñatas in a big aquarium or even attract them to a river shore and then put them on a tank on your garden by bringing them back... It would be quite cool as well. Damn honestly if I could have like three wishes, one of them would definetely wish for a series of sequels to Viva Piñata; and I'm a 22 years old guy who already has a job so you could get much more people hyped up about the sequel!

I had no idea up until this point that Rare were the ones that created Viva Pinata. I always thought that the show was created first and the game was just based off of it.

Ever since I was born I played on the xbox 360 that I still have in my room to this day, and I fell in love with viva pinata PLEASE get together and make a third game it would make me so happy.

Rare. Sea of Thieves is great! But my heart belongs to Viva Piñata. It’s my childhood and It’s such a nice game. If Viva Piñata 3 was ever announced, I would cry and be so happy. And I strong believe that I am not the only one.

This game is even more nostalgic than Minecraft... I’ve been playing Viva Piñata since I was 9. It was one of my very first video games. I’m 17 now, about to turn 18, and it remains as one of my very favourite video games ever. Seeing this video brought me some crazy nostalgia. I hope that someday VP will get more attention, and even more games! I love Rare ~

really wish they would have made rare replay for PC as well, so i could play these games again since i have no intention of getting an xbox one.. The first VP came out when i was 16 and it was the first game i bought with my own money lol.. from a person that typically sticks to fighting games and rpgs, VP just caught my eye and it's become one of my all time favorite game series. i have the first game on PC, but it feels like you gotta jump through hoops now to get GFWL to cooperate. hope a new one comes out or at least rerelease VP and TiP on PC. need VP in my life again!

It'd be cool to see a new game with some of these unused ideas remade into better mechanics! This game is super fun and creative and I'd love to see more.

I love Viva Piñata so much, this games were my childhood. If you guys ever release a 3rd game I would cry. I am planning on buying an Xbox series X when it comes out, and since it is backwards compatible with Xbox one games I am going to play the rare compilation of games for days on end. This game actually a hidden gem, it is a piece of geniality and innovation that was not made justice by the time when was released. I remember how good were the memories i had playing this game, truly something ahead of it's time. The gameplay was enjoyable, cheerful, relaxing, exciting and very bold when it came to the genre, we could feel a connection to our garden and animals. It was such a fun game...

i remember watching my brother playing viva pinata at the age of 4 and playing it for the first time at 6 good times viva pinata has been with me for a long time in my life i would have been 1 when it came out to see a 3rd one would be mind blowing for me. thank you viva pinata.

In Viva Piñata 3 I would love to see underwater only animals! Depending on how the water stuff is implemented it could be the most boring or the most interesting environments to design.

I still play this with my kids. I help them with the harder to get pinatas, and they tend the gardens. It's been so much fun

Man, I remember playing the original VP when I was six and seven. I would cry when I had to get off the computer because I had so much fun playing it. it wasn't until 2012 when I got an XBox and TiP. Now I'm fifteen, have an XBONE and Rare Replay and still love this series as much as I did when I was a kid. Good job Rare.

So so good! This really oozes the Viva Pinata universe, like there was no time nor space between. Sure, partially it's the familiar music. Sure, partially it's the familiar lovely narrator. But ultimately it's the whole team, and how you can sense their passionate creative energy. This was so lovely, blast from the past that feels so good. Thanks a lot for making the games and these behind the scenes tidbits.
