I love these! I considered replacing my 95 Camry with either an Accord plug-in hybrid, or even just the regular Accord hybrid. Only 2 problems: These hold their value incredibly well... and my Camry refuses to give up on life.
Ive got an 07 Accord that I'm replacing with a 2020 1.5. Love my 07 but was rear ended a year ago and the car hasn't been the same since then so I'm upgrading. I highly recommend the Accords. Fantastic cars.
I live in pa and I have never seen an accord like this until this video. My older cousin who lives locally have an accord ex with automatic from 2013 and another one in Florida has the lx model with automatic from 2017.
@@ThinkOutsideTheCube Those and the 7th gen models seem to be the best accords. My older cousin with the 2013 accord ex used to have an accord lx automatic from 2006 and my dad's older sister in Florida has a 2006 accord ex l with navigation and the interior is acura like.
@@jeepguy95 I agree 100%! But unfortunately the plug in hybrid was made in Japan unlike the other accord models from this generation so it would’ve been a hassle for them to manufacture the cars in Japan then get American seats. I wish it were different though, they probably would’ve sold more of them here :(
@@charlesiiihubbard5807 It's not that much of an issue, actually. Certain safety and anti-theft regulations are in place for certain countries, and they adapt vehicles to meet those regulations. Certain markets offer different features than others as well, so it wouldn't be that difficult for them to equip them with leather seats.
I remember looking for these before I went the other direction ( honda ridgeline) a very funky car however with the miata sized trunk i couldn't justify it
Must be a New York car, all the rust on plug in hybrid door hinge and under the hood on all the support brackets and fasteners. Can’t imagine what it looks like under the car. Cool car but not much life left.
These only came to NY and California. I bought one with 158k and didn’t realize it was a plug in. Been reliable so far but let’s see how long I can get it to last. Anyone that hates those rims , those covers come off and under that are actual light weight full aluminum rims !!
🤦🏽♂️ i have one and they have no problems working on it and yea those wheels are bad mine has these but black and silver so it looks kinda futuristic I’d change them but doing that ruins the aerodynamics and you lose some mpg
