June 13, 2004 - After being mired by foul trouble and plantar fasciitis through the first three games of the 2004 NBA Finals, it turned out to be Los Angeles Lakers reserve forward Slava Medvedenko who served as the catalyst for waking Rasheed Wallace from his slumber. Slipping in a stray elbow to Wallace's midsection midway through the third quarter of Game 4, Medvedenko beared the brunt of the response, with Wallace targeting Medvedenko in the post in the mini-altercation's immediate aftermath.
In all, Wallace finished with a team-high 26 points, 13 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals, and 2 assists in an 88-80 win, placing the Pistons squarely on the brink of earning their third NBA championship in franchise history.

@@lp3860 the 86 Celtics are one of the greatest teams of all time. It was beautiful to watch them play. I loved watching the Bad Boy Pistons as well.
