The Raspberry Stitch is a beautiful vintage crochet stitch. It is a dense crochet stitch that makes a near solid fabric. It is the same on both sides.
A free written tutorial can be found on my blog: richtexturescrochet.com/raspb...
In this video I will be using a 5 mm crochet hook and a little bit of the Cotton Aran yarn by Paintbox yarns.

I adore your stitch tutorials. You get right into the instructions. You use a heavier weight yarn that provides good stitch definition and large hook so we can see where to put stitches. Your background it plain and light and doesn’t distract from the tutorial. Your camera is close to the work, and your work area is well-lit. The instructions are precise, to the point, and on topic so listeners don’t have to pull stitch instructions out of a wall of sound about unrelated stuff. And we don’t have to figure out what you mean when if you say, “Put your hook here.” You always tell us exactly which stitch to work into. These all may seem like little things, but as someone who has watched tens of hours of crochet tutorials on RU-vid, yours stand out in terms of clarity and accuracy. Thank you!

Hi, I'm a mother pf a 5yo boy. I love to crochet. My son is going to kindergarten and I joined a group of parents that work for the kindergarten (we do general maintenance, cleaning, organize events fundraising for the kids, etc). I'm currently working to organize like a flee market and I've been learning from you the stiches I've use to make all sorts of things for that market. So thank you from my heart ❤️ Hopefully we will raise a lot of money for the kids this year ❤❤❤

Can i just say thank you for being so amazing with your tutorials?! I dont think there is any praise i can add that hasnt already been said. I am still relatively new to crochet- 3 yrs- and i learned by watching youtube tutorials. I recently found your channel and i am so appreciative of your precise and straight to the point explaining. Some of the projects i have done had 2hr + video time. I am a mom and work full time and have kids that are involved in extras and i dont always have time to watch a vifeo that long or that much time to crochet. Your tutorials are to the point, clear, and i am able to work on my projects and actually use my free time. So again, THANK YOU so much

I was looking for a stitch to make a crocheted blanket for my first grandchild. I chose this stitch because of the name! All throughout my daughters pregnancy we have referred to the baby as "Raspberry" because when my daughter first told us she was pregnant, she said, "Right now, it is about the size of a raspberry!" The name stuck and I was thrilled to find a "Raspberry stitch for the blanket! Thank you for sharing this!

Yes :) this is a wooden streamline in Ebony. I love them! I’ve tried other Furls hooks and although they are nice, I always come back to the Ebony :)

Hi , I have been crocheting like crazy and have improved some, going bacl and looking at stitches I loved, but was afraid to try. This stitch now doesn't look as intimating as I first thought. Question: can this be done with dc? I find fpdc easier. Thanks for all you!
