Be a part of my journey to the Ratangad fort trek.
We have done this trek in September 2022 in heavy monsoon. We had extremely fabulous experience on this fort. Ratangad fort is located in the Akole district of Ahmednagar state of Maharashtra.
from Nashik journey is 75-80 km to Ratangad.
Ratanwadi is the base village of this fort. It comes under a protected wild life sanctuary. 4 entrances, cisterns, rock-cut stairs, caves, etc can be seen on this fort. It is a part of kalsubai harishchandra mountain range.
Ratangad fort is known as the origin of the Pravara river in Ahmednagar.
I tried to cover all the areas from this fort in heavy monsoon. Hope you will all like it.
