Ratchet Wrench Restoration 

I watch these videos and next day I'm out in my garage wiping all my tools down, organizing, spritzing with oil, etc... Good stuff.

Just shows what such a ratchet can look like if you want to put the time in to make it look like that. I applaud your efforts and finished product. I also wonder that IF it is ever used, how will it hold up, especially the handle. But you do realize this is merely a "Task Force" ratchet... Thumbs Up!

Aww task force, a fairly cheap budget brand. Thanks for the video but I do wonder why bother on a cheap ratchet like this one when you could restore a old craftsman, snapon or some other higher quality brand.

Parts looked a lot like Snap-on…wonder if you could’ve tried swapping to see if they’d fit..

That handle turned out great ..as the rest just handle would have left many stumped

Why are you using Water Displacement when there's no water to displace?

That grip would go straight in the bin. Turning one out of hardwood on the lathe would have been better

Gotta say… looks awful… hopefully your restoration skills have improved since then lol specifically the handle.. jsut no… and the lack of fit finish on the metal.. (the pits and marks).
