Every single dramatic finish is phenomenal but Trunks killing Zamasu was the best one imo. Great work, Arc System.

The special yamcha victory scene makes this game 10/10 for me

Seeing Yamcha finally get his revenge on Nappa after all these years really makes me wish Toriyama would do more with him, Tien, and the other ZFighters. Like seriously, most of the cast from OG Dragon Ball has been turned into a joke and have such little power that they've become irrelevent. Why not give them their own character arcs where they learn to boost their power and obtain some special abilities that not even the Saiyans can pull off? Or even have King Kai teach them the Kaioken instead of JUST Goku? There's so much wasted potential there that it drives me nuts thinking about it.

Arc System can easily do this type of stuff with JoJo's.

God, I love Trunks. The dude's a badass, and I don't get why so many people call him trash. He's got a dramatic and emotional backstory, he introduces the idea that Goku isn't the only big fish in the pond by going Super Saiyan, he's always fended for himself. Sure, he causes a lot of problems, but what's a good show without conflict? And goddamn does Trunks bring in some good conflict. I love the dude and everything he's done for Dragon Ball.

The amount of love DBZ is giving to Bardock, he's always been my fav back since the VHS tape of his movie lol.

Bardock raising his bandana into the air after beating Frieza only hits harder when you realize that the bandana is actually a bandage with the blood of his comrades on it. When he raises it into the air, he’s essentially being like “look guys, I finally did it.” It’s poetic as hell, especially by Dragon Ball standards.

If they made goku day “YOU FOOOOL” it would have been 20 times cooler and the spirt bomb should one should have everyone on earth saying DO IT

I like that Goku had the Bruce Lee look on his face after killing Frieza XD Like, he didn't want to do that to him, but he gave him no choice.

They missed the opportunity to have Frieza laughing at the Bardock explosion like when he destroyed Planet Vegeta

I'm still disappointed they didn't give Vegeta Blue + Trunks a dramatic finish against Merged Zamasu. We have both Father Son Kamehamehas, why not give us Father Son Galick Gun? Another cool one would've been Zamasu winning against Vegito. The fusion runs out and Zamasu kicks the ass out of Vegeta and Goku, just like it happened in the show.

7:15 That was the Miracle Blow, where all the Z fighters present during the fight in tye movie channeled their power into goku.

15:35 trunks is the only character ever with a belt, pants far too big, cheesy jacket, and bowl cut ... who still manages to be a badass.

The Yamcha overpowering Nappa is a reference to the mini manga series where Yamcha is the hero of the story. You should look it up, it's actually pretty funny.

The Frieza bodying Bardock is one of the few times the anime did it better. Where's the hysterical laughter, dialog and fireworks!? Same for the Teen Gohan ssj2 transformation and DF. The most badass part of that was him walking forward during that blast!

They were really sleeping on my man Bardock. I still think he's one of the coolest characters. Even seen as a low-class warrior he still pushed himself and fought like a badass. I think him ascending to a Super Saiyan at some point against Frieza woulda been awesome.

You know there's an actual manga where Bardock goes back in time right before he dies and he becomes the first super saiyan. Thats why Frieza is afraid of what the Saiyans can do and blows up the planet. You guys should give it a read.

Bardock vs Frieza is pretty much Xenoverse 2 Bardock getting sent back in time and getting his vengeance.

I just wish the dramatic finish from Vegito against Zamasu was a dramatic intro instead, especially since Zamasu was unaffected by the final kamehameha in the anime. (And because the villain characters already have tons of finishers against them but very few finishers of their own. And there aren't many dramatic intros)

And we're not even done yet. If the leak is right, there will be a dramatic finish or two with Goku (regular), Vegeta (regular), #17 and Cooler. I'm guessing with Goku and Vegeta, it will be from the Saiyan Saga. So...we'll see....

This game had a lot of missed opportunities with the Dramatic Openings & What-If Dramatic Finishes. Broly should’ve had a Dramatic Opening against Goku where he goes LSSJ, also it would be cool if Vegito has a Dramatic Finish with Majin or Kid Buu, Android 18 breaking Vegeta’s arm, Trunks surprise head butting Vegeta Blue, etc. Also with the What-If finishes there’s only 2 for Bardock & Yamcha, but there’s soooo many scenarios they could’ve flipped the script with. What if Dr.Brief didn’t remove 16’s Bomb, what if a Cell Jr. stopped Vegeta from blasting Cell, etc. I love the concept of Dramatic finishes I just wished they explored it a bit more.

Sorta sucks they dont have any ones for Vegeta. I also wanted more for like the Villians. I play mostly bad guys and it sucks that only when you lose a certain way do they get something cool lol They could also make it accurate as well. Like if Kid Buu beats Goku or Vegeta on earth, he destroys it with his ball. If Cell beats Goku, he sacrifices himself and then comes back in the form he fought Teen Gohan in. They could even go random fantasy ones like the Bardock one and Yamcha one. WE EVIL PLAYERS WANT SOME LOVE!!!

I agree, there should be more of those. Especially between Vegeta and Majin Buu. That scene in the anime was pretty dope.

Wow, they really went all-out on the Dramtic Finishers with the DLC characters! That's some really intense stuff - which makes me wonder why it never occured to anyone to hire Team RED to make an actual show with their skills. We could get the Guilty Gear movie they never managed to finish, we could get some incredible Dragon Ball short movies, we could get basically any shonen-type animé realized with this style. RWBY could also make use of this to be a bit less awful, but the cult factor may get in the way.

Would be cool if you did a new Rate the Super for new DLC characters.

I really hate Yamcha's DF. It's the pinnacle of "this why we can't have nice things". YOU guys did this. In Dragon Ball, Yamcha was actually really cool, he had some running gags and stuff but he had a lot of cool shit. But you die in a funny pose once, and now every time someone thinks of you it's to be reminded of your failures. He lost all the character developmente he had from Dragon Ball, was reduced to a jobber, and then turned into a literal gag character, who does nothing of his life except being laughed at to entertain the masses. This is why we can't have nice things.
