Paul Bhamra I get it. It was a billion years ago and my ears are still ringing. All i remembered was that there had been some kind of upside-down thing about the concert. I have some bad sectors on my brain hard drive.
Paul Bhamra also, I just remembered 2 things from that concert: A) someone brought a beachball and it started bouncing and landed on stage. one of Bon Jovi tried to kick it back into the crowd but botched it and went ass-first out into the crowd and i thought "oh shit they'll tear him apart" but then they crowdsurfed him back on stage. & his guitar came back too. B) i watched an empty Jack Daniels bottle go sailing way up in the air out of the crowd in an arc, and then watched it land in the crowd and bounce off someone's head another 20 feet or so.
you dont have to understand the language to enjoy the music. and besides, they know all the lyrics. they also know enough english to know common phrases used at concerts.
@bluetiege Don't underestimate the rest, they're really talented all of them in their own way. My favorite guy in the band is definitely Warren, no question about it. He's the most talented of them all. But one more thing I really love about this band is their drummer, Bobby Blotzer. A lot of the bands out of this era were pretty "average", but Bobby really knows how to groove. Listen how he master that shuffle groove in way cool jr. and lovin' you is a dirty job. That's some serious shit man!
They were probably hung over too, or jet lagged. Their energy is obviously not the same here. Would have been hard to get drugs in Tokyo too. By 1989 they were winding down. Still great shit though
@aaa8181 Yeah most Bands don't for some reason. just the songs are not as heavey OR as Good. although Ratts newest one is pretty good. Better than Dokkens OR defleppards newer cds
