RATT - The Morning After PRO-SHOT At The Rock Palace 3/18/1984 Los Angeles , CA . Setlist : You Think You're Tough You're In Trouble The Morning After Round And Round Comment and rate. Ratt & Roll !!!!!
Still holds up 40 yrs. Later.Ratt really started rolling in 84 when I was 16 in highschool still one of my favorite bands of all time, Warren is a guitar god absolute LEGEND..........
One of the greatest albums ever imo it’s like an album of greatest hits no bad tracks like you say , and my favorite track The Morning After got little radio play .
I lived in Berlin in '84. I remember a neighbor playing Ratt out of his 3rd story window. I yelled, "What is that?" He yelled back, "RATT, you aint got this stuff over here yet!!!" Dude was fresh from the states. My sisters bought me 'Out of the Cellar' for Christmas that year.
As far as duel guitarists you always hear KK and Tipton , Murray and Smith , Hetfield and Hammett , all great tandems for sure but for me King Robbin and DeMartini are right they were epic together Robbin with the killer riffs and Warren with mind blowing solos .
@@god6384 no way bro! What r u saying ? There were many backing vocalists but in my opinion Juan croucier and Rick Savage were the best backing vocalists of 80's ...
RATT really started rolling in 84 when I was 16 in highschool still one of my favorite bands of all time, Warren is a guitar god absolute LEGEND..... Robbin and TORCH DEMARTINI are having a blast here. R.I.P Robbin........
Lots of idiots commenting in here. Robin was the SONGWRITER in the best years of RATT. Warren is a top ten player of all time. Robin's breakdown and departure was also the end of RATT. Nothing wrong with that. He was in NO SHAPE to cont
They were pushing him aside ignoring his ideas and playing which pushed him further into drug use. Of course, Nikki Sixx turned him on to heroin his first time.
@@roxannemoser please don't blame RObins use of heroin on Nikki, back then it could've been ANYONE, that drug was everywhere! We all make choices bottom line. I miss KING as much as his next fan, he'll never be forgotten. R.I.P. KING!
Robbin was the soul of Ratt. End of story. No debate. Anyone suggests otherwise or says they only listen to RATT because of Warren need to go get their head and ears checked. Robbin is the most under appreciated lead guitar player who played rhythm in the history of metal.
Ratt, one of the few hair bands that incorporated progressive elements in their music and didn’t rely on the blues for guitar riffing.. imo they sounded similar to queensryche on their first 2 albums, before they went full commercial
Wow. I recorded this on a Beta machine when I was about 11 years old. It's been at least 20 years, or more, since I've seen these "Pro-Shot" songs. Warren D always got credit as an incredible axe-slinger, but this live song proves that Crosby could play a mean guitar, too.
Damn, I really can't understand why Robbin stopped playing leads. With twin power of him and Warren they could pwn any other guitar duo like Downing/Tipton or DeGarmo/WIlton.
DeMartini is smokin', that's all there is to it. One of the best guitarists of the hair metal era. Crosby was a good player but DeMartini was next level in the genre.
I remember I recorded this by mistake with our first vcr. lol. I was blown away and turned all my friends onto Ratt --Never heard of them. I remember they were announced as LAs hottest band...
Robbin played just fine...there's nothing wrong with being 'blues-boxed' or being a 'pentatonic-Pete...' solos are about feel and what complements the song...sure, Warren knew how to shred (by comparison), but let's not forget a couple things....Ratt was Robbin's baby (back when it was Mikkey Ratt...if I remember the spelling right), as it was Pearcy's...and secondly, and most unfortunately, Robbin got too caught up in the excesses, which would dull ANYONE'S potential after a while. :s
I saw these guys before Out of The Cellar was officially released , they played to less than 100 people at a place called Up All Night in NJ ... I saw them 6 months later at a sold out show at the Meadowlands Arena, that's how fast this band took off :-)
The band before the bullshit. Crosby and DeMartini were to glam metal what the Young Brothers were to hard rock; they had a chemistry that Ratt lost when Robbin left. RIP The Ratt King!
This is my favorite song from these guys. And Robbin was such a great player. They were never the same without him. Sadly, his demons overcame him in 2002. I wonder where they would have gone had things been different. Thet were bar none hands down the best hard rock band of the 80's. They could write great songs consistantly, were great live, and had the chops to back it all up. In my opinion, the only band that was on their level was Winger. It's such a shame that the usual petty differences, drugs, alcohol, and indifference led to this awesome bands downfall. But, they left us with some incredible music! Bands today just cannot turn out quality like these guys could, Rest in peace, Robbin.

Seriously, where did bands find the things they wore on stage back then? This was at the same time Motley was wearing their leather during the Shout tour. Crazy...
Yes, original Ratt, I just had to listen to that crap they put together with Carlos Cavazzo sucks big time. you cant compare Ratt with Robbin Crosby to what it evolved to.....
Warren influenced so many of us from that era …… so much swing in his rhythm playing and melodic leads that told a story …… critics hated ratt - every serious musician loved them …… so much more talented than any grunge crap … band
