As a guitar player this song is not "easy" to play

@@donaldfoster5998 yeah, from all accounts I've heard, Robbin was a big guy so I guess he had no trouble playing those stretchy riffs. The rhythm part for the solo section is pretty tough to play if you have small fingers.

I'll scream this from the rooftops till the day I die, but Ratt was criminally underrated as a band. One of the things that a lot of people sleep on when it comes to Ratt and their music, Warren and Robbin would often play two different guitar parts, but they would seamlessly mesh together to almost sound like one guitar. Motley Crue got the majority of headlines and fans through the 80s, but Ratt was just a better band overall (lukewarm take). RIP to Robbin, and I fervently wish everyone could just bury the freaking hatchet and give us more Ratt and Roll.

Warren DeMartini was really underrated. Love the intro to this song. His sound was so clean.

Warren and Robin had incredible chemistry and showmanship. But at one point Warren kept evolving into this standout player with a style that not many others have. He's still great and is viewed as one of the best that came out of LA. I feel that was the difference in their music compared to the other bands of that time. Ratt was one of those bands that had the talent and the cheeze, but you would never put the cheeze at the forefront. You can pretty much listen to those albums front to back and find that talent is always prevalent. Check out their EP too. It's awesome.

One of the most beautiful, melodic solos recorded. Wayyyyy too short. Still get chills when it starts.

I love that album cover it’s definitely one of my favorite album cover from the hair band days. I did an old school denim jacket with patches and shit and I got this patch of that album cover on the sleeve.

Ratt went crazy in the 80's. Girls, partying, crazy riffs. This is probably their best song imo.

Ratt was always one of my favorites because they were hair metal but usually unpredictable in many ways - especially Bobby Blotzer, the drummer (I'm a drummer). He really was fun to try to imitate and was also inspiring.

Also, I recommend The Morning After and In Your Direction (from Out Of The Cellar) and You're In Love from Invasion Of Your Privacy

I was a teenager in the 80s and I hated hair metal. I was into Rush, Metallica, Maiden, Van Halen and ACDC. However, I always liked the early days of Ratt, especially their first three albums (the E.P. , Cellar and Invasion.) DeMartini always delivered the great, memorable riffs and they seemed more solid than the other hair bands of that time. And yes, I had friends back in high school who were guitar players who went to see Ratt only to see DeMartini in action so he was and still is greatly admired. Great reaction and also nice to see I wasn't wrong about Ratt!

Think of it this way: the quiet part before the guitar solo is a prelude, call it 'The Seduction", the guitar solo is 'The Fkkn'. Look closely and you'll find that most rock songs of that era follow that template.

Having grown up in the era RATT were making music, I'm not sure where this perceived hate for them comes from. Most every rocker at that time considered them one of the legit bands. Next tunes by them You're In Trouble, Wanted Man, Way Cool Jr.

I’m also an 80s hair metal guy & didn’t know there was any hate at all. Strange. Yeah guys like George Lynch was friends with Warren & got help from him, for one example. Ratt were legit.

I heard a quote once that most of the hair metal/glam metal bands back in the day "had to carry umbrellas because it was absolutely raining 😺" 😂😂😂 Ratt and Skid Row were sort of in the same category in that they were hair metal but with a bit more snarl.

Yes. Oh yes. Glam metal perfection. That riff just obliterates anything in its path 😂 please also do some more classic Megadeth! Wake Up Dead, Sweating Bullets and Set the World Afire, and Saxon’s The Eagle Has Landed! All groovy as hell 🤘

Saw RATT open for Ozzy before they were famous. Slade was supposed to open but cancelled and some “LA BAND” filled in for them. Who knew? 🤷‍♂️ Then saw them with Lita Ford, Twisted Sister and Y&T. Ahhhh…the memories.
