@@chester1882 yes basically that. The only way to obtain a shiny locked Pokemon is via genning, or in the case of ONE specific pikachu in ultra sun and moon, A glitch.
Shiny locked means that it is currently impossible for a pokemon to be legitimately shiny. This can be for a lot of reasons, such as most legendary pokemon, gift only pokemon, or in this case, Gholdengo.
I'm so jealous of how well you craft your teams. No one could ever accuse you of making teams that are boring, predictable, or one-note, which a lot of gimmick teams fall into the trap of. Really good stuff.

In battle 5, you are indeed correct that they hacked them in, since gholdengo is shiny locked. (more accurately gimmieghoul is shiny locked but you cannot obtain gholdengo without gimmieghoul)
I was battle three.... psychic terrain is the biggest thorn in my side. I always forget to think about the switch-in. And yes I was sucker punching incase you Final Gambit. Was wondering if I would make it into a video.
Got down to 4051 on the ladder but can't seem to break thru. I'm happy with series 1 team for my first ladder attempt. I love competitive pokemon... crits, flinches, 3 turn sleeps and all lol
I love these commentary videos. They're rarer than other channels' uploads but are always full of great content. Your team ideas are also always so frickin' *awesome*. Like, a lot of the time I'll see a team idea that somebody's made a video of and think ‘Huh, that's pretty neat!’ but with yours they're almost always like ‘Oh my goodness, I want to play with the team right now.’ Appreciate you.
You must be pretty recent to weedle videos. They're hands down the most creative pokemon player of all time, and has a really specific point of view when it comes to video content. No one do it like weedle.

From what I've seen most pro revival blessing teams no longer run the berry because 1 revive is usally enough. They will usually run sash to gurantee the revive. Also yea Annihilape is a dumb pokemon having 2 incredibly powerful moves in final gambit and rage fist is nuts.

It might take me the whole year but I swear I will shiny hunt the 3 part Dudunsparce. Always thought Serene Grace was the way to go with Dunsparce, but you manage to come up with the craziest combos. Great work :)

I love watching your narrated videos, and all of your meme action! :D My top New years resolution is to play more Pokemon. More video games will improve my quality of life. You've commented on the overuse of Protect many times, what if you built a team around Moves that bypass Protect, like Hyper Drill on your new shiny, Feint, and Power Herb Phantom Force? Hit them when they feel the most safe. You could turn the Move from an almost necessary pick into a liability, a vulnerability.

Why would you even hack in a shiny gholdengo it literally has the most subtle change ever like. The lines on shiny gholdengo? They're a slightly different color. That's it.

I feel attacked, I shiny hunted garchomp, well gibble and got 3 until i found one that was ground tera lol. He is one of my favorite pokemon though and i prefer the shiny grey to the navy blue. I'm pretty sure Gholdengo is shiny locked though so you're opponent defiantly didn't get theirs legit lol
