He would fit perfectly with Clark Gable, Cary Grant, Anthony Quinn. It's so depressing we lost a legit real star and talent of his caliber. He gave us so meny classic movies to remember him by what a magnificent artist he was. I had the opportunity to meet Raúl Juliá in a Restaurant in Puerto Rico named Tango's (Back in 1991), he was such a nice guy...miss him a lot...pride and joy of Puerto Rico

Raul Julia was so hilarious in Adams Family. He made me laugh so hard and brought me joy as Gomez. The train scene always cracks me up lol! When I see model trains I think of that scene. He was such a brilliant multifaceted actor who could also be hilarious!

I never knew anything about Raul's widow (Merel Poloway) until watching this clip just now. She comes across as the embodiment of grace. I can only imagine what a striking, elegant couple they must have been.

I do not understand why raul julia died of complications from a stroke ... I just want everyone to know that I was born 7 years after he died .. I just know now that he was a person who cared for but has gone .. I really love him .. young adults my age I have a new love with him in August 2013 yesterday ... and now I only just knew she was dead ... even though I'm not who-siapanya him, but please ... I agree with everything in the post just below mine at the moment but I think he was a better actor than Marlon Brando. I don't think he was on the verge of becoming world class; he was world class. He was undoubtedly one of the finest actors of our age. But more to the point, from what I know from the media, he and his wife both expressed consistently wonderful values to the world. In a world hungering for solid values they both have stood out. Mrs. Julia seems as special as he was, She always represents him doing "what I believe Raoul would have done."
